Crewcuts Email: the tee emporium (plus, free shipping)

"Thanks!" to many of you, including Desert Flower & Marietta, who shared the following email from Crewcuts this weekend.

The email features a smattering of tees from the Girls' Crewcuts line (click here to shop online). As usual, I am lusting over some of the Crewcuts tees! ;)

What are your thoughts on the Crewcuts tees? Do you think you will pick some up at your local J.Crew & Crewcuts stores?

  1. My b&m didn't have the two that I wanted in the right sizes, so I ordered them. My niece and nephew love JC tees b/c they're so soft. :)

  2. Have any of the petite women tried fitting into crewcut tees? I would wear some of these, if they fit. :)

  3. All I can say is, I'd be BROKE if I had a little girl! :-)

  4. I would never pay FP for crewcuts tees for my girls. Some of the embellishments are so unfinished (i.e. raw edges) they don't hold up well in washing (inside out and washed in garment bags). However, they are cute! I try not to show my girl crewcuts stuff since she wants them all!

  5. Used to buy them for my daughter when they first came out with this line and the quality was much better as well as the prices. I even bought sizes years in advance b/c the prices used to be SO MUCH CHEAPER. I just now dug out on Friday sizes 8-9 of 7 tees I bought for her in 2007 and 2008 and kept in totes. I just dont' think their sale prices are as good as in years past! She doesn't know if they are the latest ones and LOVES them.

  6. Andrea - I have the same question as you. As a fellow petite girl (size XS or 0 or 00), I made an order this weekend to see for myself. I ordered the girls gingham blazer in a size 14, as another poster mentioned that the size 14 fit similar to the woman's XS. It's a really cute blazer and about half the cost of the woman's gingham blazer that was just released last week.

It shipped today, so I'll see this week if it fits. If so, then I'd imagine that the t-shirts in XL would fit too.

  7. Andrea and CCS-

I'm 5'1/93lbs and have no trouble fitting into the size 12 tees. Something to note...I am extremely flat chested and have somewhat of a 15 year olds figure. Hope this helps!

CCS, let me know about the gingham blazer I have been eyeing it as there is no way the 'normal' one will fit.
