ReplyDeleteI did very well this weekend, and ended up not spending an extra dime! I had some returns to make at the retail jcrew, so I got the Watercolor Pastiche pencil skirt and the Sconset plaid shirt (both @ $39.99). The Asheville store had several more of each in different sizes. Also got a tie-dye canvas tote @ $19.99. This bag is so cute! They had a pretty decently stocked sale section. Yesterday, I went to the outlets and had another exchange...got a couple of pretty scarves (perfect for my SF trip in July!) and a white boyfriend v-neck tee.

I picked up the Jaipur Mini for $49.99, a v-neck in lilac mist to match, and the Burnished Leather Belt on sale for $23.99. Paired all three with my Fossil Lulu sandals yesterday :-)

I used the 20% off coupon from my June catalog to get the Oxford shorts in blue (so only $32 after coupon and so worth it) and the Marine-stripe perfect shirt.
ReplyDeleteThe woman who rang me up didn't recognize the coupon and then was jealous that I got one while employees didn't. She then suggested maybe I'd get 30% off in the July catalog, but that was just wishful thinking.
I picked up the watercolor pastiche pencil skirt & sconset shirt for $39.99/each from Fashion Valley Mall (San Diego). They had lots of shirts/tee-shirts/skirts/etc. ... i saw a fewitems from the most recent roll-out.

ReplyDeleteI had the pleasure of stumbling upon the new J Crew wedding store today (on Madison Avenue). It's amazing, and you don't need to be on your way to a party or wedding to ship there. They have pretty Essie nail polishes, belts (some embellished with rhinestones, and ones with a bow on front), and clutch bags galore. Not to mention great costume jewelry (though some of the vintage options were quite pricey!). I think some of the items in the store can only be found that particular location. Great sales associates too - everyone was very friendly.
Highly recommend!
i'm so bad, i rarely get to the sale section! i am usually so "over it" and want to dive into the new stuff (though my wallet think differently!)
