I was just near Asheville last week but never been to the Clearance Center or the JCrew store in that area. Hope others find some deals! Too many other things to do in the area besides shop!

Appgal -- Millrace and the Wyndhurst Clearance Stores are both in Lynchburg, VA -- five minutes apart. The Wyndhurst store opened in January, 2010 and they have more dresses and formal wear as well as CrewCuts. Millrace is the original store. Both have TONS of shoes!

ReplyDeleteI have been to the Lynchburg location (Millrace and Wyndhurst) several times. I try to go for the monthly warehouse sale. It is typically held the third Saturday of every month. I usually just call the clearance store to confirm. The sale is absolutely amazing. Some friends and I went last month and got some great deals. My friend was able to buy the Alecia leather peep toe shoes for only $30. I bought several pairs of Minnies for $8 a pair. The clearance store is a great deal too but the warehouse sale is incredible. You may have to fight off the local Ebay sellers but it is definitely worth it.

Stopped by the Asheville location and it was pretty picked over... Walked out with nothing! Those of you who were sad to miss the sale, you didn't miss too much. I did overhear one of the SAs say that a warehouse sale is coming up soon, though...

ReplyDeleteHi - I got both emails for the sales this weekend - one in Arden - the other in Lynchburg. I've been to the Arden one and there is TONS of goodies - I've never been to the one in Lynchburg. Can anyone give me comparisons? I'm actually closer to the Lynchburg one.
