The email features an array of Spring jewelry (click here to shop online) which J.Crew advocates to "lighten up for Spring with piled-on necklaces with hand-done details". The necklaces shown include:
- Ombré Pearl Cluster Necklace (Item 21291; $98.00)
- Mixed Crystal Colletto Necklace (Item 26104; $98.00)
Incidentally, is it just me... or did the last batch of jewelry go on sale super quick? It just feels like a few weeks have passed since its introduction and many of them got reduced (in some cases dramatically). Not complaining, as I do love a good jewelry sale. Just wondering if I was the only who was thinking this. :)
What are your thoughts on the current Spring jewelry collection? Are there any pieces that you are coveting?
I noticed that the email highlights the more classic-looking necklaces, and not the 5-yr-old girl craft-project-looking necklaces. I so prefer these classic looking ones!!! May pick one up next time there is a promo code.
ReplyDeleteAlexis, I thought the same thing about the new jewelry pieces. They did go on sale terribly quickly. Not all of them, but a lot of them. I do like both of these pearl necklaces and I'd like to see them in person.
ReplyDeleteOoh, now that's more of what I'm liking. Classic pieces that you can wear for a while.
ReplyDeleteNow throw in some color (just not all at once) and I'm all over the JC jewelry again.
Liking the spring jewelry as it's classic, esp. the pearls. But I've purchased and love items from the Supernova, Majesty, Duchess, Glamour, and Colletto collections.
ReplyDeleteRight now I'm eyeing a couple Anthro necklaces, yummy!
They're way too expensive for cheaply made costume jewelry. I can buy real, quality pieces for about the same price.
ReplyDeleteI like these too! But like Jeanne, I think they're overpriced.
ReplyDeleteThese are purdy, but they will definitely go on sale. I bought some necklaces from the most recent 30% off sale, and I love them. They were all about $20 too, and many were originally over $100. Ooh, I love those deals!
ReplyDeleteJeanne,
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you WAY over priced for what it is... You can buy lovely REAL items for JCrew regular prices. If I am going to buy costume-- I can find better quality and just as pretty for much less money. Even the JCrew sale prices seem high to me for the (poor?) quality. Hmmm...now I wonder why it goes on sale so quickly????
"lighten up with piled-on"... ummm, sure. Seems a bit contradictory and silly.
