J.Crew Aficionada Fan Page {facebook edition}

Just wanted to let you all know that the JCA blog has a new Fan Page over at Facebook. The personal page (Alexis J.Crew Aficionada) will still be around for awhile, until the transfer is complete.

The new JCA Fan Page will offer a lot more advantages to fellow JCAs, including: (1) creating discussions, (2) uploading JCA fan photos, & (3) storing videos.

  2. No! Does that mean when the transfer is complete, this blog is over??? I don't have facebook and don't want to be on facebook.... How sad if that's the case?

  3. Kendra: I think what Alexis meant by that comment is that, on Facebook, she had a "personal" page under the name of "Alexis JCrewaficionada." She will keep that personal page up until the new JCA Facebook fan page has taken off. I don't think (at least I hope not!) that she has any intentions of stopping this blog :)

    Kendra: Sorry for the confusion. I won't be transferring this blog over to the Facebook page. AppGal's explanation is spot on in that there currently is a Facebook JCA "personal" page that I would like to remove, in favor of the Facebook JCA "Fan" page.

    AppGal: Thank you so much for helping to explain. As I mentioned above, your explanation was spot on and super helpful. :)

  5. phew. that got me worried...

    off topic -- i wasn't getting promotional emails suddenly(except the cc ones) and emailed jcrew about it. they said that since they made the new website, i had to re-register? is it just me or is the "new" website really old at this point -- what are they talking about???

  6. Kendra: LOL! I can't believe what they told you. Yes, the "new" website is like 2 years old now! ;) Frankly, I am not sure if the person at J.Crew knew what s/he was talking about. Hopefully you will start receiving the emails soon. :)

  7. thanks alexis -- at least i know i'm not crazy. she mentioned that she noticed i had made purchases in the past, but i would need to re-register. i emailed back to say that i just ordered this month and all of my account info was in there, so i'm confused! so weird!!!

  8. Kendra: That is very weird. It's also too bad that she was feeding you incorrect information. Good for you in pointing out to them that you ordered recently! :) Your account is clearly fine- no need to re-register. It's their mailing list that is messed up.
