This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)
If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SUMMER sale, or to see some new FALL arrivals {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!
Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)
Yes, indeed! Went and checked out a number of new arrivals, including the Optic-Dot Dress, Collection Scoopneck Top in Silk Scarf Foulard, Toni Tassel Loafers, Mona Two-Tone Patent Mary Janes, and many others, reviewed here, here, and here.
ReplyDeleteI did also. Some reviews here and more to come in the next few days.
ReplyDeleteOT - 30% off sale items code LOVEIT through Aug. 31.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rose! :)
DeletePromo is good thru Thu, 8/23
DeleteOops. I did see 23, so not sure where 31 came from. SORRY! Thanks, Gigi!
DeleteI did not, but the extra 30% off online is enticing me.
ReplyDeleteCan anyone tell me how the No. 2 Pencil Skirts fit? I waver between 4/6 on skirts, but I am pretty much a solid 6 (or size 29) for pants, unless they are particularly stretchy.
Phoebe - Irl pics of the No 2 in double-serge cotton in this post, plus links to many other blogger irl pics. I am similar in fit and think you will want the size 4 pencil skirt. It's been said here that the double-serge stretches out during the day. I was more comfortable in the 6, but that's because I still have post-partum weight. I would've taken the 4 in earlier days.
DeleteDid not end up making it to the store, but snagged the pop art ella online with the 30% off.

ReplyDeleteWent to the Rockefeller Center store in NYC, browsed a couple things, the colorblock tippi, the st james galathee t-shirt... left with nothing.
ReplyDeleteThen walked over to the Madison Ave store, bought a striped boatneck on sale, the vintage t with the anchor on it, the schoolboy blazer in the bright blue, and ordered the toothpick cords in saddle and the chambray dot perfect shirt.
How exactly any of that happened, I have no idea! Both stores sell the exact same thing at the exact same prices. I am weird, I know.
I checked out a new store on F Street in Washington DC- few snap shots of interior and exterior here.
