Tomorrow is the last day J.Crew is offering customers 30% off all final sale items (no min) with promo code LOVEIT.
Will you be checking out the Sale section? Are there any items you are hoping to see or to get? Does your local B&M offer an additional percent off as well?
Just got the Cabochon Fan Necklace in Spearmint for $69.99 after promo, yay! Also, the Silk Blythe in Shallow Sea is now $79.99 before the code.
ReplyDeleteThere were a few new arrivals added to the sale section today and I don't think they are final sale.
ReplyDeleteJust got the grey tippi heart me sweater on a popback!
ReplyDeleteI have lots of sale reviews on my blog here.
I admit it: the snakeskin print skirt arrived and I love it. I will not, however, wear it with a striped tee or anything neon. Miraculously, it is perfect with a pale grey cashmere tee & cardi from the early 90's. Must go now, need to get off a bread-and-butter letter to that nice Mr. Lauren. Although - thank you for making sweaters that don't pill so I have something that goes with your would-be competitor's markdown? Perhaps some things are better left unsaid.
ReplyDeleteI believe you are required to wear it with chambray shirt half-untucked, six or seven bubble necklaces and those Jenna glasses that set off self-reverential alarm bells across the land.
DeleteToo funny! And don't forget to be clutching huge a bright orange purse at your chest, like someone is going to rob you.
DeleteLol!
Deletethe only reason I am still alive is that our state has very sthandheld anti-handheld-while-driving laws. just got out here and am gurgling, which is what you do if you giggle while slurping wine. Oh, thank you for your great styling suggestions, ladies. I found a crazy go-with-or-not at the Barney's outlet which I have to pass to get here. Yeah, poor me. A picture will be up on my blog tonight or tomorrow, we're not finished having fun with farm animals on clothing.
DeleteDon't forget the messy bird's nest hair. I hear it's a must for this season ;-)
DeleteI went a little overboard in the pencil skirt department........ oopsie. I have to try the tall double serge pencil skirts, though! HAVE to.
ReplyDeleteI bought three. I considered re-buying the Herringbone No. 2 and returning the one I bought at full price (minus my student discount), but returning from Canada costs me $20+ and takes about three weeks, so I'm just sucking it up. Why must J. Crew always make me regret buying things at full price?
DeleteI bought three too! Retro Jade, Crimson Maple and Festival Blue. I figure all I need now are sweaters in camel, navy and black and that "should" be the end of my fall shopping needs! Ha ha!
DeleteI bought Spicy Gold, Crimson Maple and Festival Blue :).

ReplyDeleteJust received my order from last week - I bought a factory wool blend crewneck cardigan (in the heather citrus color I have been stalking forever) and a merino crewneck sweater in aquatic mist. Color me impressed!
ReplyDeleteThe heather citrus was a tad more golden and less lemony than last year's Betsy but the sweater is nice enough that I am keeping it and contemplating another order.
The merino crewneck was thinner than the Tippis but less slouchy and with less extra fabric around the middle (I take an XXS and the Tippis are too big). Aquatic mist is a really pretty ice blue but not see through and the wool is not itchy.
This month represents my first foray into Factory and I am liking what I get. Lower prices + lower expectations = win win. If returns weren't such a hassle I probably would be exclusively a factory girl!
My only advice is to hand wash/Dryel any non-cotton sweaters from J. Crew factory. My experience is that they pill very easily!
DeleteAgree! I actually use Dryel on ALL of my JC sweaters, even the cotton ones so they don't lose shape when wet. I also use it on all my pencil skirts and it makes everything so fresh and even removes stains quite well. It's a fabulous product, particularly in light of the numerous bad experiences I've had with dry cleaners in NYC, i.e. getting items back in the exact same condition as when I dropped them off, which is kinda like paying someone to babysit your dirty clothes! Instead, I've begun hoarding Dryel coupons once or twice a year when they come out, waiting for a decent sale at Walgreens and stocking up at around $5-6 a box. Way cheaper than dry cleaning and your sweaters won't pill :)
DeleteOk, what to do, what to do... That silk Zebra/Giraffe? striped blouse would be more than 1/2 off and I love that blouse! But.... not sure what size to do. I've been losing weight and I'm worried if I buy the size I tried on, it may be too big now? It *just* fit, though when I tried it, so maybe I should just order the size I tried! I just don't know what to do, b/c I just purged a ton of gorgeous JC tops b/c they are just too big now. Suggestions? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteIf the size you tried on just fit, I think that would be the size to go with. I have lost and gained etc but I find that tops are much more forgiving than bottoms when this happens. I will keep 3 different pants/skirt sizes in my closet, but my tops are almost all the same size, even though I do gain and lose weight on top too. Chances are that even if the top gets a little bit too big, it will still look good.
Deletethx, that was my basic thinking, too. Just needed confirmation. So bummed I had to list my raindrop lace top on Ebay, but really, that one was a bit roomy even before I lost weight.
DeleteJruby18, I reviewed that top on my blog. I agree that the current size is the one you should go with.
DeleteThx Rose! I stuck w/the size I tried originally.
DeleteOrdered the snowcat boy shirt and jade cafe capris earlier in the week but just noticed the brand new No. 2 wool pencil skirts are marked down - $68.60 with promo! I'm very tempted by the festival blue - I feel like that's a great color that I'll wear year-round. I do wish J. Crew would add a "new arrivals" section to their sale page - that would make finding these deals so much easier!
ReplyDeleteI finally got to reviewing the colorblock silk v-back dress today, here.
ReplyDeleteWill the Cafe Capri in Caribbean tweed never pop back in petite 00??? I've been stalking it for what seems like weeks. Just to reiterate, I have a NWT pair in mango in size petite 0 if anyone would like to trade. I should be able to rationalize taking them to the tailor since I paid $27.99 and not full price, but somehow I still can't justify paying more to alter something than I did to purchase it. Meanwhile, as I stalk for popbacks and go back and forth as to whether to tailor the pair I have, the season to wear them is quickly coming to a close...
ReplyDeleteIn other news, expecting a big package today with a bunch of Factory items and some basics like yet another Tippi sweater. Will review the Factory items later :) I was underwhelmed yesterday with the Factory sweater dress (particularly for $69.50, considering the fabric content is Topshop quality at best) so I'm hoping to have more success today. Particularly excited about the classic crewneck cardigan in vibrant flame stripe. It was admittedly a silly purchase because I have a Marc by Marc Jacobs striped pullover from this summer in that exact color scheme, but I really do love the bright orange and the neutral together and I think the piece will transition into fall nicely.
All in all, I have a feeling I'll have a big package of Factory returns tomorrow, and I may also contact CS for authorization to return the final sale bootcut cords which are a completely disaster both in terms of styling and the fact that the dye has seemingly evaporated from every wrinkle and fold so they're covered in little faded lines going every which way - and it's not a stylistic choice, it's a defect in the dying process for sure.
Honestly, I get so excited about these percentage-off sale promos, but when it's final sale, I too often end up disappointed with crummy items that go unworn. No more. If it's not a classic item I'm familiar with, I haven't tried it on in store or I'm questioning the fabric blend, I will never order on FS again. I work too hard for my money and for a company that can't even throw me a 20% off coupon after placing 4 orders in one week, I don't need to be buying up all their seasons-old crappy inventory. Lesson offically learned.
And now that I've ranted... has anyone tried the Factory classic crewneck cardi this year? While I should know better, I ordered several based on my experience with one I purchased in 2006 or 2007 which has held up like a dream. (Perhaps "dream" is not the best word to use when talking about a JC item of quality? lol.)
DeleteSome new entries into the sale section! I went a little crazy and ordered two pencil skirts - the double serge in retro jade and the herringbone - plus the Allie dress in abstract floral and the Blythe blouse in shallow sea. Must stop looking at the sale section now!!!
ReplyDeleteARGH! I hate that! I knew I bought the retro jade too early (darn husband was telling me to buy it!).
DeleteJust realized that I can get a price adjustment - I bought it on July 29! Yippeee!
DeleteI ordered 2 full price pencil skirts two days ago -- and was very happy to get the price adjustment, too! I will be using the price adjustment money to get the 3rd pencil skirt that's on my "fall shopping list" -- meaning that I need to be done shopping for everything except boots (the only thing remaining on the list)!! I did grab a Sailor Boatneck tee for $20 -- I have the red one, and it's one of my favorites, so I couldn't resist the yellow one.
DeleteI was excited to see these hit sale too, but peeved that heather acorn was not marked down (BOOOO). Ended up getting just one, the berry pink, which for me will be more wearable than last year's Neon Rose.
DeleteI couldn't think of enough things to wear with the brownish-colored one, and couldn't rationalize the Retro Jade knowing I already had the green wool one from last year, so I skipped those.
Got a few other odds and ends as well. Done with sale now, gotta be! :P
I am so glad I held off on buying the retro jade skirt at the personal shopping event last night. It would have been $150 CAD before taxes - I shipped to my father and paid $68.60 for the same skirt. The price difference is ridiculous.
DeleteLouise - I was "lucky" enough to be with my friend (student), so got the 15%. I'm tempted to just return it, order from the US site, ship to WA and have my dad pick it up for me. I could get 2 skirts for the price of what I paid for the retro in Canada!
DeleteSnagged the No2 in Herringbone in Watercolor Blue but someone beat me to the matching blazer. Hope it comes back.
DeleteAnd the blazer in Watercolor blue is back!
DeleteI don't buy final sale from J.Crew, not worth the hassle, so I'll wait. Does a fall sale eventually come around?
ReplyDeleteBarbabelle, I think the JC gods may be listening - there's quite a few items that are not final sale, even if they are listed with .99 price ending, but you have to click through to the product description to see whether it's marked final sale or not. Frustrating, I know, but it's better than nothing.
DeleteI agree, I am really avoiding J.Crew's final sale these days. The thrill of the hunt is really enticing but most times I am disappointed when the items actually arrive.
ReplyDeleteBut on the other hand... I have placed four orders from the Lilly Pulitzer sale in the last day, and it is all final sale. I guess it is different though because Lilly it consistently high quality and they have amazing customer service. I know that a Lilly silk/cotton jersey dress is going to be nice, and I know that the finish on a Lilly necklace won't rub off... whereas I do not know if a J.Crew sweater is going to be a pillmonster or not. (and let's honest, it probably will!
I checked out the Lilly Pulitzer sale site and they've got some really cute stuff! How does their sizing run compared to JC?
DeleteTheir stuff runs small compared to JC. I need a medium consistently in their jersey dresses, where a medium at J.Crew would be huge. Go up a size or get the larger of your normal J.Crew sizes.
DeleteI'm normally a JC size 4/6 or small. Thank you for the info!
DeleteI will say re: Final Sale, I know other stores have it, but at places like Ann Taylor & Talbots, it's the third or fourth markdown. It's never directly from full price to final sale. That's what I find so offensive about J.Crew's practice. To me, it's a sign they don't have confidence in their goods - why else be so quick to disallow consumers the ability to return?
ReplyDeleteI took J.Crew JD's advice on the Factory suiting and scooped up the lightweight wool skirt set in black for about $150 after promo - I hope it works out! It's not FS, so I can always return if it's not love at first sight. Looking forward to seeing how this suit compares to the unlined retail suit I picked up during the last promo. I also threw in the Jackie pullover in black for more casual days in the office when I don't have to be in court. Here's hoping I FINALLY get a %off coupon - come on J Crew!!
ReplyDeleteJCrewJD, quoted for truth: "The thrill of the hunt is really enticing but most times I am disappointed when the items actually arrive."
ReplyDeleteI find that this happens to me all the time. I tear open the package only say, "Oh." Maybe my expectations need to be adjusted. But it is so wrong to expect that my expensive clothes not be constructed poorly?
OT: Since when has J.Crew shipped using that blasted UPS/USPS collaboration, I think it's called "Smart Post"? I haven't ordered in a while, but usually my orders come directly from UPS. It adds about 2-3 days to my shipping time when they transfer the package to the PO! Grr.
ReplyDeleteAppGal, that is HORRIBLE news. I think the UPS version is Surepost... Fedex is Smartpost... both are extremely slow and terrible. I haven't ordered anything in a few weeks but my last order came via regular old UPS. I will be really sad if my orders don't come in 2-3 days anymore!
DeleteI hope this isn't a permanent change, but I have two packages on the way and both of them were transfered to the PO. I would have had the package by now if it were just UPS. I really, really hate SmartPost/Surepost. Really.
DeleteI succumbed to the sale... Bought the herringbone pencil skirt in Romance Pink, and I re-bought the Blythe blouse in Shallow Sea (going to return the one I bought full price). I don't think either were Final Sale.
ReplyDeleteHas anyone purchased the jcrew shrunken blazer in embroidered plaid? Not sure why it went into final sale this morning but wondering if the sizing is weird.
ReplyDeleteStill don't see anything I want. I might order the Sterlling skirt when it goes on sale.
ReplyDeleteThere are also a lot of new promo-priced items for the women today, including the No.2 pencil in double serge wool, Edie Attaché bag in two-tone, and mini ram bangle. The updated list is on my blog.
ReplyDeleteUgg, Trying to catch the Cashmere T, Long Sleeve, in Neon Pink size XS. Yesterday morning it was there but would not go in my cart!!! Searching and searching... Maybe tomorrow morning?
ReplyDeleteTish
I just ordered 3 of the promo pencil skirts. I double checked with online chat to verify that they were returnable. I saved a copy of the chat in case my confirmation contains different information.
ReplyDeleteI completed the online survey and ranked customer reviews as my #1 request.
I never buy final sale but I did order some promo pencil skirts. I also ordered a belt that I left in hotel room on vacation and a colorblock perfect tee, none of my items were final sale. On Monday I ordered Jean Shop jeans. They were final sale so I chatted with CS and explained about the difficulty of buying jeans that I cannot try and they are available in stores. They made a note on my order so I can return if they don't work out which is quite likely.
ReplyDeleteof course I meant that the are NOT available in stores.
DeleteHas anyone got the Creatures of the wind sweater? Does it fit true to size?
ReplyDeleteCrap. I just noticed the Tilary purse is on sale. I saw it in the store a month ago and fell in love with the fuchsia color. May have to cave and get that and the No 2. wool skirt in blue....
ReplyDeleteLiking the new additions to the sale this morning. Purchased the No. 2 pencil in crimson maple (petite! yay, never in stores), perfect fit ballet button tee, and the colorblock sequin tank- could not justify that at full price.
ReplyDeleteLoving the new Jules dresses. How do they fit? I am typically a size 4 in JC dresses but may order a petite since it's a shift style.
Looks like the Saturday Pants are on promo in 2 colors. I bought three pairs last year, so luckily I don't feel the need to purchase any more :p
ReplyDeleteSo comfortable. Seriously.
noticed the tippi colorblock cardigan is now on sale(my review here). Contemplating on whether to get this or not.
ReplyDeleteI bought it with the pokadot scarf. It wasn't final sale...so if I don't love it then it's going back! :)
DeleteYeesh. Everytime I think I'm done for awhile, I get sucked back in. Purchased the cotton cafe capris (I actually end up wearing these all year long -- wool is just too much trouble) in the pop art polka dot, casablanca blue, tropical aqua, the maritime blazer in navy (I know this is hit or miss among JCAs, I happen to love it -- but only at the sale price! -- and have the navy stripe version too), the silk scarf in purple cerise (on pop back -- have been eyeing this one since it came out) and some factory tees -- cute new two-color striped tees, a cute sequin rose faded black tee, and the maritime tee.
ReplyDeleteBtw, if anyone is interested in the factory version of the bubble necklace (called the droplet necklace), it's cute. It's smaller than the retail version, which makes it easier to wear, and it seems comparable in quality. The BaubleBar version (called the princesse bib) -- at $38 -- is almost identical to the factory version, in different colors.
EYELET PENCIL SKIRT SCORE!!!! Long at last!!! And for some reason it didn't even say final sale?
ReplyDeletehas anyone seen the watercolor blue herringbone blazer irl?
ReplyDeleteI've been wondering too but it just sold out. I got the matching skirt. I hope it will turn up in my store eventually or pop back.
Deleteoh the blue blazer is back online in sale now
DeleteSpent over $800 :( I don’t know if that should be a :) or not. All final sale, too. Someone hold me. Or just pray that it all fits. I don’t even feel like I bought a lot. Some crewcut stuff for my kids, shorts for the hubby, then some perfect shirts, No. 2’s and tees (bateau painter and linen dolman sleve, both of which came first and I LOVE) for me. Oh and that lightweight cashmere tunic, which I’m now regretting based on the comments above. Luckily the CSR was kind enough to mark it as not final sale. Apparently, you just have to ask.
ReplyDeleteExpecting my package today. Can't wait to try on the factory classic suede ballet flats!
ReplyDeleteUpdate:
DeleteGotta give J.Crew kudos for the awesome speed of one day shipping even though I only got Free Shipping from the Cece Flats!
-Cece Flats in Soft Fushsia in 6H. I'm usually a 6.5 but this pair is a bit tight and the color is a really bright girly pink.
-Factory Anya suede flats in 6 and 6H in color of fiesta purple and casablanca blue, respectively. I like the fit of the 6H better. The color of the casablanca blue is a bit more like a royal blue. Absolutely gorgeous.
-Black Saffiano iphone case. The quality is fine, however, it might fit better for the iphone 4, not my 4s :(. The case fits the phone kind of awkwardly which the front of the phone is slightly sticking out. Not sure about keeping it.
Can someone comment on the fit of the Allie dress? I am normally a P6, but am wondering whether I should size down to a 4. Help!
ReplyDeletei reviewed the dress HERE. I think it fits TTS but you will get extra length in regular size. Order to fit your waist.
DeleteI found it very tight in the waist in my usual size 0 (or 2P, but I usually take regular sizing in their dresses). Couldn't size up because I'm small-busted and thick-waisted, clearly the wrong body type for the dress. Hips were comfortable, but my 36" low hip is mostly rear so I rarely experience pulling problems.
DeletePretty pleased with the sale selection this morning. Purchased the No. 2 pencil in crimson maple, great color. Also got a ballet button tee and the black/white sequin colorblock tank.
ReplyDeleteLoving the Jules dress.. how is the sizing on this? I am a 4 in JC shirts and dresses. Would also try a petite size as im 5'3".
Ugh, can't get the reply function to work. AJC, thanks, that was really helpful! I'm not worried about the extra length, since it sounds like the dress runs short anyway and I work in a slightly more conservative environment.
ReplyDeleteAnd addendum to my previous comment--I'm 5'2" and found the length to be perfect in the regular.
DeleteI received my cotton stitch sweater in neon pink yesterday and I love it!
ReplyDeleteDefinetly go TTS or smaller, because it's roomy. I got an XS (my usual size), and I can easily wear a shirt under the sweater and I probably could have ordered an XXS. However, I like the slightly more relaxed fit of the XS. The neon color is bright, but I find it beautiful. You might remember that sweater from Garance Dore's 'Hello world' video featuring Caroline Issa.
I should receive my Patricia dress tomorrow, as well as my super sale cotton waffle sweater in navy. Eager to try these on as well!
Does anyone have the knit tunic? How long is it IRL? Does anyone have a picture review?
marypopps, if you mean this: knit tunic dress
DeleteI have it, but don't have a photo review. It is definitely a tunic, not a dress (especially after washing it!). I'm 5'4" and it hits me at mid-thigh, plus it has side slits. The neckline is also surprisingly low-cut on me. I've worn it a few times with cropped leggings, but the fabric is a heavy, almost sweatshirt weight, so now I'm waiting for the weather to cool off. The space dye charcoal color is true to the website photo.
Anyone else scratching their heads as to why the white denim is still priced so high this late in the season? I've been wanting a pair all summer but not on FS, not in late August and not at that price.
ReplyDeletetry Lord and Taylor (depending on your size)
DeleteThanks for the suggestion! Sadly nothing in my size :(
DeleteHello, I'm debating between a 2P and a 0 for the blythe silk shirt --any advice? My only concern is the arm length. My preference is a 2P as I have a short torso, but I usually end up getting a 0 for suit jackets because the 2P sleeve length is too short. Please help!! Merci!!
ReplyDeleteI find the Blythe to be fairly short through the body and about average in the sleeves, if that helps. You could also call CS and get actual measurements including sleeve length for the 0 and 2P. Good luck!
DeleteThanks Caitlin! What size did you get, and is that the size you normally wear? I guess I should measure my arms too. :)
DeleteI wear a 0 in the Blythe and I wear a 2 in the Perfect Shirts and Boy Shirts. I am 5'9 though and think I maybe should have purchased them in Tall sizes. The sleeves are just barely long enough on me.
DeleteUnknown - I took 6P in the Blythe. I get what you're saying about suits, but I'm not fond of the sleeve length in the regular 4 on this top. It was too blousy in the arm. I'm 5'2".
DeleteAny techie JCA's know how we can fix the reply problem? I did some Googling and it said to enable active scripting in your browser's internet options, but mine's already been enabled. Also, I have no problem with the reply function on any other blog except JCA.
ReplyDeleteFor me it only does not work from ie, works from Firefox and iphone
DeleteI have never had an issue replying, and I use Chrome. Wonder if it's a browser thing?
DeleteSounds possible. I installed Chrome and now it works - yay!
Delete@Jruby18 - I would go with the size that fit your shoulders because I found the zebra shirt to be tight in the shoulder area (and I have narrowish shoulders). Losing weight probably won't matter with this shirt because the bottom is quite flowy IMO. I too bit on this one. I was a little disappointed IRL when I tried it but it was on my list if it made it to a decent sale.
ReplyDeleteI am glad I tried it on in store though or else I would've bought one size smaller which woudn't have fit in the shoulders.
Thanks! I went w/the wise JCAs' advice and ordered the size I tried on. I agree about it being tight through the shoulders and I am a bit broad-shouldered. I think you're right that weight loss isn't the issue w/this top.
DeleteStopped in my local B&M and the manager kindly gave me a price adjustment on the camp pants I bought on 8/2. So nice!!! Anyway, I didn't see one thing I wanted to buy or even try on. Bummer! Looking forward to the next rollout!
ReplyDeleteOh duh, I thought today was the 23rd. Anyway, irl pics & review of the no 2. pencil skirt in snake in this post.
ReplyDeleteI ordered the satin invitation clutch - a popback from last summer - and I have to say I really like all of the invitation bags up until this season's colorblock/plaid/cheetah print. It's such a classic shape, and it has the cutest zipper opening, but the silk was a little scratched so I guess it was a return. If anyone has seen the Factory leather invitation clutch, could you please comment on the quality of the leather? Thanks :]
ReplyDeleteJust picked up (with alot of exercion! These babies weigh a ton!) the requisite fashion tomes, Sept. Vogue and In Style. Both have nods to JC and Vogue features a little question/answer with Ms. Lyons, who (SURPRISE) picks a JC striped hoodie as a fall necessity. Saw a lushious silk jacquard print pencil skirt, similiar to the silk foulard print JC pants, by Vivenne Tam. I wonder if JC is going to make a pencil skirt with that silk foulard print? I love that idea!
ReplyDeleteOh my lord yes, the September issue of Vogue nearly killed me on my walk home from the train! That thing is a beast! Also, in what section is the Q/A w/Jenna? Things are hard to pick out in that 900+ page behemoth.
DeleteAnyone want to help me shop? :P
ReplyDeleteI need some winter/fall clothes... there's a couple of things I was looking at not sure on the colors but will post the links to them if anyone wants to help out. :)

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Sweaters to go with my khakis and dark blue jeans. Coat for work.
You can use on Factory items too!!
ReplyDeleteHas anyone tried the Stovepipe Trouser in wool flannel? It looks very similar to pants I bought last fall but not by that name.
ReplyDeleteDid I miss something or did the collection jeweled-collar sweater go on promo/final sale? It was on my wishlist and now is gone from the web site.
ReplyDeleteLooks like it sold out - it was on my wishlist too!! I will be SO bummed if they don't restock it. Though I've noticed if items do sell out, they're usually restocked whenever the new arrivals are posted. If that's the case I may have to splurge and get it!
DeleteI don't know. I looked at it online earlier this week and I think lots of sizes were in stock. That's what makes me think it was marked down. I don't think they would have all sold fp at that price point. My store had some in stock but I was wanting to try both of my usual sizes and get the best fit. Plus I wanted at least one markdown!
DeleteTons more blazers were added to sale overnight
ReplyDeleteHow do the nora flats run? I wear a 7.5 in most J Crew shoe's ,but monas in a 8. What size should I order ?
ReplyDeleteJust grabbed a popback of the Jardin apple-print skirt...a little nervous since it was final sale, but I've been watching for it for weeks. Who here has tried it? Weird that I have seen/read any reviews on this skirt (unless I've missed it).
ReplyDeleteI meant -have NOT seen/read any reviews.
DeleteI have this skirt! I took my usual size and it fits fine/runs a tiny bit big. I kind of wish I had gone with a petite (I'm 5'2"), but the regular length works well enough. It's not as white as it looks on the web. I've only paired it with black tops. HTH!
DeleteThis is one of those pieces that I fell in love with on minute one, and then was surprised, like you, to see not much excitement over it from other people.
DeleteI'm 5'7" but I have short legs, so I purposely bought the P6 for shorter length. (I usually wear regular 4 in bottoms). Personally I don't find the print overwhelming, but I'm a print-lover in general. The apples are brighter than I thought they'd be, but it works with the cream background. I like it a lot with a chambray, navy or heather grey top :) I bet a rich chocolate brown would be nice, too. HTH.
Thanks Susan! Is the print overwhelming in real life? As a teacher the apple print will be acceptable, but I don't want it to look weird :)
ReplyDeleteI grabbed a pair of the Lula Snakeskin ballet flats, love the bright red color. I'm over summer clothes and shoes and haven't purchased anything I couldn't wear into the fall with this last promo. At $69 plus free shipping these flats seemed like a great deal, can't wait to wear these with some dark fall colors for a little pop of color.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know if the No2 wool pencil skirts fit smaller than last year. I took a 4 last year but I ordered a 6 because I bought this year's cotton pencil in 6 and it fit fine and when I called CS they told me all the No 2s have the same measurements regardless of the fabric. I also called my store and they told me they feel this year's wool pencils run small.
ReplyDeleteJust placed an order this morning... and hoping that I don't get the dreaded 'oops' message saying that what I ordered was out of inventory at the time I placed my order. Looking forward to the goodies!
ReplyDeleteI picked up the Dreamweaver Mona pumps and I'm hoping they are okay because they are the dreaded final sale. Overall I think prices are still higher that I would expect on these summer items and I'm located in a hot climate!
ReplyDeleteDon't forget to use shopathome.com! It works like ebates but they give 10% cash back...I'm a sucker for a good deal.
Happy Shopping!
Since the Blythe in Shallow Sea is newly on sale and is $55.99 after the 30% off, I decided to finally review mine here.
ReplyDeleteFinally got my Enameled Ram Bangle! Hooray! I've been specifically stalking the Sale section to get that sucker on popback all Summer.
ReplyDeleteSave yourself from a final sale hangover. Click here for the Irl Pic Guide.
ReplyDeleteDagmara,
ReplyDeleteI am wearing the festival blue no 2 today. It fits exactly the same as my vibrant flame and veridian green from last year.
I have found some variation among colors though. The heather acorn was a tiny bit bigger and went back.
I seriously can't decide... ram bangle, or mini ram bangle?
ReplyDeleteHi Kitsmommy, I ordered the herringbone version in blue.
ReplyDelete
