J.Crew Store Location Series {where next?}

*Image above is from Paperless Post, found through NYC Recessonista's post

A big "thanks!" again to GigiOfCa {of the delightful Gigi's Gone Shopping blog} who came up with the brilliant suggestion for a city guide series. So far we have covered:
  1. {Dallas, Texas Edition}
  2. {San Francisco Edition}
  3. {Boston Edition}
  4. {Chicago Edition}
  5. {Washington, D.C. Edition}
  6. {L.A. Edition}
  7. {NYC Edition}
Are there any other locations that should be covered? Should we go by state/region (e.g. South Florida, Connecticut, etc.) Or have we hit all the major cities with various J.Crew stores located in them? Let me know what you think in the comments! :)

  1. How about the Philadelphia area? There's at least one JC in Center City and one in the outer suburbs in Glen Mills, PA--perhaps others as well in other Main Line suburbs.

  9. My family is going to Seattle for a vacation on Sunday. I will be really happy and grateful for any tips on Jcrew and shopping in the area in general. Thanks in advance.

  10. I think you should do the rest of the country in regions, like major cities in the Southeast (Atlanta, Charlotte, etc).

  11. Marie,
    My ps is at the downtown J.Crew. They have a good selection and I like most of the staff there. Parking is free downtown on Sundays. Most other major clothing stores near the J.Crew. Best Loft store in the Seattle area. If you like Eileen Fisher, there is a store right across the street with 15% off sale right now. Last day of Nordstrom sale is Sunday. New location for Nordstrom rack a block away. Easy walking distance to Pike Place Market.
    Seafair weekend with traffic issues on both bridges due to closure of I-90 for a few hours daily because of air show over Lake Washington. Maybe another reason to go downtown rather than Bellevue Square on the Eastside.

  12. SE Mom, Thank you so much for your advice. Very helpful, I am writing it all down. We're flying so driving is not an option. Is the downtown location at Pacific Place? We're staying at Fairmont but I have no clue where it is with respect to the nearest Jcrew. Also, is the downtown location good enough that I need not go to the other branches? Apologies for the many questions but there is no separate Jcrew section in the guidebooks I have right now:)

    1. hi marie, im in seattle, too, and agree with se mom's advice!

      the downtown store is the pacific place store, so handy to the fairmont. the shopping district in that area is great. i don't think you'll have to visit other j crews if you don't want to, but i'll say that i'm partial to the one at university village, and that shopping center in general.

      a tip on the fairmont-- when you leave, feel free to take those great slippers with you, they're free!

  13. Sarah and SE Mom, thanks so much for the advice. Nice to know I can sneak into JC quite easily. I think we have time to go to the University Village as well. Looking forward to your milder weather and excellent coffee (not Starbucks)!
