Inside their online orders was a "Thank You - Here is a gift for you as a token of our appreciation" card with two one-time-use codes for 20% off a $150 purchase. One that says "FOR YOU" and one that says "FOR A FRIEND". The codes are good through October 31st.
This is a pretty awesome offer from J.Crew. I am completely jealous of those who received it. If I got one, I would be my own friend and use them both! ;)

Yes, I got a card. It made up for the fact that I ordered the small gingham perfect shirt and then they ran a 30% off sale promo 2 days later. I'm in Canada so I don't know how to go about getting a price adjustment (if it is even worth the hassle) so this makes up for that because there are things I want from the fall line.

Received a package yesterday - nothing. I had ordered two full priced things along with some sale items. Expecting a second package today but I'll bet once again there is no discount card included. I never get anything - no codes, no gifts. I've spent so much money and no love from the Crew. Boo.

ReplyDeleteI got two packages today and no discounts of any kind in my packages. Whatever. I got the Janey Flats. Here's my take on them:
ReplyDeleteI ordered the higher of my 2 sizes and these are too tight. I can put them on but my foot looks squeezed in them. And the design isn't flattering to my foot or ankles.
The Persimmon is RETINA BURNING neon orange. It's ugly, loud, juvenile and did I say UGLY?
The Dusty Jade is nice...but still doesn't look rich enough for me. I think if the shoe was better quality these would look better. They just look cheap.
The patent isn't nice and shiny like most patent shoes. Looks very low quality.
The soles are paper thin.
The gold heel looks like cheap gold metallic paper of something glued on.
These shoes are a huge disappointment. I considering ordering the tassled loafers, but I'm done. Too expensive for what you get. I'd rather spend more for something that's going to last.

Oh boo, I had 2 separate orders arrive yesterday and today, and neither had a code. I wonder how they pick who receives them and who doesn't. I've been waiting to purchase the navy schoolboy blazer, but at $198, it's been sitting in my shopping cart for months just waiting for a promo code.

Straycat - I hear you on the persimmon - I found them a little loud. I did love the jade colour in the janey flats - I thought they were pretty. But I know exactly what you mean - I hate it when I order something, expecting it will be a certain way and then it arrives and it is just not that nice. sigh...

ReplyDeleteWMM.....I hate to sound so mean, but for $178.00 I expected alot better quality! I also got the safari cat long no. 2 skirt and it seems crazy tight. What's up with the sizing? I have lots of no. 2 skirts but this one seems tighter. GEEZ!
