Darlings, is it time for a J.Crew coupon code?

Yes it is that wonderful time!

"Thanks!" to Rosie (in this post) who let us know that J.Crew is offering free shipping on orders of $150+ with promo code ICD-49. This offer expires 12/31/08.

  1. If it has an expiry date, will it be honored until that date or will JCrew yank it after it's been published?

  2. I'm sorry my question is off-topic. I bought the metallic-flecked pencil skirt in-store and want to buy one of the Melanie-cuff cardigans or crewneck in a yellow-y color to pick up the gold flecks. I can't tell online which of the 3 yellow colors the sweater is offered in would match. Would this be a question for a regular CS rep or could I call and ask to speak with a personal shopper? I'm interested in getting a PS anyway, but I don't think I'm going to order much through a PS right now because I want to order online and get the HOHOHO discount.
    Advice? Thanks in advance.

  4. The free shipping with the discounts is only good for the next few days, this code is good for longer.

  5. Hi, Alexis (OT): is there a way to edit a comment posted as "anonymous"? I just read a comment I made on another post that sounds kind of obnoxious (unintentionally). I'm guessing the answer is no, but thought I'd ask. Lesson learned!

  6. Please help asap! Can you use the HOHOHO code on a waitlisted item? I know they don't charge til the item ships, so will they still honor the promo by the waitlist date? It's Dec. 25. Thanks so much!!

  7. yes, you should be able to use the code, but make your order now. for example, I used "extra30" back in November and i was charged the lower price even though my item didn't ship till this week.

  8. The other code has been pulled 25% no limit.

  10. So I've just started using the wishlist on anthropologie and that feature is great! i love jcrew so much more, i don't see why they can't develop something like this. everyone I know buys jcrew for me, having a wishlist would be so much easier!

  11. ^ Because they cannot even get a working website let alone think about those extraneous (wink) things--I am SO hopeful too:) Also, I think we are all tired of losing our cart all the time as well;)

  12. OK this is OT but has anyone got the Pailette cardigan? I just bought it (on sale, Yeah!) but I am wearing it today and it is shedding like crazy. What the heck!

  13. I have been hunting for the perfect suede lined Marc Jacobs Blake Bag in black for a while. I briefly considered the Jaime as an alternative, especially considering the huge price difference. I've never seen the Jaime in person, but it looks beautiful in the pictures.

Ultimately, I dropped $700.00 for a 1 year old Blake in top condition. It has luxurious suede lining, and the center portion holds my neoprene wrapped Macbook perfectly, while never looking like a computer bag. The tassels on the Jaime were just to 'frou frou' for me, and for some reason seem out of place on such an otherwise clean, classic bag.

The pink and honey glaze work somewhat better with the tassels as those are 'less serious' colors, and I think they could be great for the right price.

Ultimately, tassels make a bag a 'fun bag' instead of a 'core, everyday bag' for me. I still think the Jaime is beautiful, though. The pleating is very elegant and feminine--whereas my Blake is more urban Working Girl.

  15. My friend got a code in her catalog for the same thing. $150 free shipping. I wanna say it was WDM-08 but I'm not 100% positive. I blew it off thinking I would get one too in my catalog. I know better. I didn't. Anyone else get that code? I remember seeing it was good until 12/17.

  16. Anon at 10:59 PM: Unfortunately there is no way to edit a post after it has been created (even if you are a registered user). Many times I caught a spelling error and had to delete a comment to repost it. ;) I can also delete user's comments at their request (e.g. they don't want their work email or name displayed).
