Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the FALL sale, or to see some new HOLIDAY arrivals {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  2. I didn't go into any stores but I did score a black velvet Bella jacket on ebay! A Victoria ruffled shirt (long sleeve) -- another ebay find -- arrived on Thursday too.

  3. I went to the JCrew at Tysons Corner in Virginia. They had the plaid cypress skirt for $69.99 (with the additional 30% off on top of that price). I got one and noticed online it's still the full price ($98) so if you want to get this skirt, go to Tysons! When I bought mine there were mostly size 0's left, but there might be a few 2's in there as well.

This JCrew also had a TON of pants on sale for $29.99 including skinny black pants, jeggings, and black jeans. They had plenty of the Plaid Eliza Tee for sale price of $69.99. They had silver Taffetta marvelle minis for $49.99 in all sizes. Sherpa Zip hoodies are still available, cheaper than online. I got mine for $40 (before the 30% off deal) and online they're still $59.50. Lastly, they have lots of sequin sweatshirts in gray for $49.99 before 30% off. Hope that helps someone!

  4. I bought a navy perfect fit tee and red phoned the black leggy denim. Charleston, SC, had mostly tees left, with some pants in assorted sizes. If JC was in a mall down here, I wouldn't have gone, but it's downtown - even though it's further away, it's easier to get in and out. :)

My ps said new arrivals would be on the floor on the 28th.

  5. I got the meadow flannel pants in TALL medium at the B&M, score! And another pair of matchstick cords in shadow. This was after returning a coat. I just didn't like the color in person!

  6. Actually braved the Smithhaven Mall on Sunday morning - not too crowded at that time.

JC Store had a few people browsing in it. Tried on a Double Draped Justine Jacket - down to $49.99 plus 30% off in store (still $129 online with only size 0 left). They have quite a range of sizes in the store.

Also tried on long-sleeve stretch perfect shirt (solid color) - $29.99 + 30% off ($39.99 online but sold out in most sizes).

  7. I was at the J. Crew factory store at Woodbury Common (NY state) this weekend and snagged a yellow felted wool mini skirt for $35. The skirt was priced at $70, but all minis were marked down 50%. Unfortunately, I think I got the last of the yellow ones. However, there were a decent number of other grey and black wool-blend minis, mostly limited to size 6 or above.

  8. Oh, they also had a Double-clothed Lady Day Coat in dark cypress in size 2, down to $169 plus 30% off. (still $179 plus 30% off online). Fits great but didn't buy since there was no thinsulate.

  10. Just got back from local factory b&M, all clearance was additional 50% off and the entire back wall of the store was dedicated to clearance. Never before have I seen such a promo at this particular location. Also, looks like they had just gotten in several retail pieces from '08 and '09. Cashmere sweaters $59.97 plus 30% off, can't beat that. They only had 4 though. If you're near a factory store, it's probably worth going to check out what goodies they might be hiding in the clearance section.

  11. Oops, meant 50% off on the cashmere sweaters. They were retail, in the clearance section.

  12. Thank you so much, Em!

I'm on vacation in South Carolina right now, and based on your tip, my friend and I went and hit up the Factory store on Hilton Head... we got some amazing deals. I got like five different sweaters and tops for $70!

    xoxo

  13. I stopped in to the b&m to return some items yesterday and noticed a really cute dress in the window. The top was a tank w/two snaps or buttons, and it looked to be dark blue chambray. It looked like the perfect piece for layering but may be too short. I'm not sure of all the details since I didn't have time to browse. I may go back today. Also, they were out w/the ticket gun marking down items.

Has anyone else seen new arrivals at the store?
