"Thanks!" to many of you, including Fabulous Florida Mommy (in this post), who shared the following news this morning: the Final Sale section has been updated today! (Click here to shop online.)
There are over 1,400 sale items for Women and 400+ sale items for Men. As usual, things are selling out quickly. So if you like it, buy it!
Don't forget J.Crew's latest offer to take 30% off all final sale items (no min) and free shipping (on $150+) with promo code SHOPNOW. This offer expires this Sunday, January 2, 2011.
Side Note: "Thanks!" to many of you who reported the following from their brick & mortar (B&M) stores. If you are brave enough to go out to the malls and shopping centers, J.Crew is offering an additional 40% off sale items. :)
Will you be checking out the Sale section? Are there any items you are hoping to see or to get? Does your local B&M have "final sale" as well?
I hope this means they are finally starting to process returns! I have two shipments they received on the 17th I'm starting to worry about.
ReplyDeleteSooo tempting, especially since the Sunnie and Timber Tweed pencil skirts popped back. Just not willing to buy them on final sale! I'm heading to my nearest b&m today; hopefully I can find the same 2 skirts for a better price and no FS! (If I do, it's meant to be, right?)
ReplyDeleteI am all shopped out... picked up everything that I wanted during the 30% promo, prior to FS.... so I'm not even tempted! Hope everyone scores some great deals!
ReplyDeleteBought everything I wanted BEFORE final sale and it is waiting for me back at my parents in the US for when I get home next week. Not even tempted....I just hate final sale!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing my returnable (if needed) goodies and hopefully everything fits and is fine:)
AppGal,
I don't blame you for skipping final sale. Hope you find your skirts in store:) cheers!
Can anyone comment on the fit/comfort of the Kelcey tortoise flats? I have some JC flats in a 6.5 and some in a 7 and I'm not sure which way to go... may have to hit the B&M at lunch and attempt to try them on. Boo to final sale.
ReplyDeleteAppGal, be sure to ask if the store sale is final. I'm pretty sure I heard several sa's tell people on Monday that it was final sale with the extra %. :(
ReplyDeleteI would also love to hear reviews of the Renton stripe bodysuit if anyone owns it or has tried it on IRL. It just popped back in my size but I'm scared to pull the trigger since it's online/catalog only.
ReplyDeleteAppGal, final sale is in effect in-stores the past couple times I was in. I agree to be sure to ask.
ReplyDeleteI bit this am! A couple different shoes I have been stalking popped back so I felt like it was meant to be!
ReplyDeleteWhat can I say, I'm weak. Despite saying yesterday that I was going to be strong and not go to my B&M store, I did. Got some vintage boot cut cords (last one in my size!)for a great price. And yes, my SA told me that it was a final sale purchase because it was clearnance with 40% off.
ReplyDeleteI noticed that the website had a LOT more jewelry selections in Final Sale, however almost everything I clicked on was sold out. A lot of the jewelry I hadn't seen since this summer and I got excited about another opportunity to purchase the styles. And then everything was sold out.
Was SO tempted to grab a popback of the dot flouncette blouse in my size.
ReplyDeleteEverything I click on shows as sold out - including the Dot Flouncette which also tempts me! I hope they clean up these items soon.
ReplyDeleteYep, I woke-up to find all the updates being either sold out or not available in my size. Drats! However, I really don't need in anything right now, especially from FS.

ReplyDeleteAbout time we got an update to the sale section (Although it came in a bit later than the usual 5:45-6:00 AM time frame).
ReplyDeletePicked up the Ludlow Harvest Herringbone Sportcoat that finally popped back up in my size.
a little off topic, but the Tretorn Flannel shoes have popped back in a 8.5 and 9.5...and they are adding to the cart. Still FP.
ReplyDeleteJust search Tretorn.
I have them and love them and know that many JCA's missed out.
I placed another order but just for some tee's, a sweater from factory & the new Indian voile boy shirt in the beautiful blue seashore color. I saw this shirt (strawberry color) in passing at the b&m so I know it's pretty thin/sheer but I cannot pass up the color.
ReplyDeleteNo kidding about all the hidden items. Why wouldn't they ensure these items are visible so they can clear out inventory?
Does anyone have an idea as to when, if ever, the MacAlister boots will go on sale? Do some items simply never go on sale? I feel like I've been waiting forever for them.
ReplyDeleteNothing for me with the update this morning.
ReplyDeleteBought two cielo ruffle cardigans (already have one and love it) and the merino dore cardigan in mansfield blue, which was unavailable before. All items at great prices with the extra 30% off. Now I'm really done. Should refrain from checking the sale section for at least 1 month!!!
ReplyDeleteAppGal, just to throw in my two cents, the Sunnie and Timber tweed skirts are hands down my 2 favorite JC purchases of the season. Both are so striking and easy to pair. I tend to get bored of items quickly but I know these will be in my rotation for several winters to come. They both ran pretty TTS; I sized down on the Timber tweed although I could have gone either way and I took my normal size in the Sunnie.
ReplyDeleteI know several people were looking for the gold Sunnie pencil skirt. Around noon today, there were two (sizes 2 and 6) at the Syracuse B&M. I didn't check the tag price but I assume it was whatever the last B&M sale price was (was it $89.99?) minus 40% (final sale). There was also a donegal tweed sweater in XS and a flyweight puffer in XS in dark cypress. The flyweight puffer was $89.99 before discount. Oh, they also had a bunch of the boutonniere blazer in the grey color (is that the name? this year's version of the professor). HTH someone!
ReplyDeleteOh, and two luminosa vests in the cypress color in M. I believe $59.99 before discount (Syracuse B&M).
ReplyDeleteDid anyone buy the Cashmere-wool Capella Coat? Does it run big/small/TTS?
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!!!!!
I just got back from the b&m in Asheville. They had 3 Cypress plaid skirts in the sale section: two size 00s and one size 0. They also had a blue Sunnie pencil skirt in a size 10.
ReplyDeleteThey were doing the 40% off all sale items but it was final sale. Boo. At least I was able to switch out my black bootcut cords for the lower price :)
Derby Street In Hingham MA had three Buffalo Plaid Jackets at 40% off. Size, 2, 10 and ...I forget the last one maybe a 14. All looked in good condition, not shop worn incase anyone is looking..
ReplyDeleteProbably no final sale for me. *Myabe* a watchband. B&M was a straggly mess with nothing good. On a positive note, I *just* through a comedy of errors, I just received my tartan boy shirt (paid for on the 16th) and the SA was nice enough to give me a p/a since it had just arrived.

ReplyDeleteDoes anyone own the lace tulip mini? I am tempted with the 30% off but I can't tell if it would be flattering or not. Plus, in those types of skirts I am always between a 2 and a 4. the 2 waist fits better but is too short....
ReplyDeleteCan anyone comment?
