This bracelet is described as "a dramatic, double-layered bracelet that looks as if it bloomed in an enchanted garden". After seeing this bracelet at the store, I think it looks absolutely lovely. :)

"Thanks!" to Dina who shared with us her great review (plus several real-life images) of this bracelet.

I've attached three pictures of the bracelet. Online this bracelet looks really white so I was somewhat surprised when it was much more cream IRL But I like it better I think. I took a picture of the bracelet against a white piece of paper so you can see that it's really not that bright white as it looks online (probably because jcrew put it against a black background.

On my wrist it doesn't look as cream. It's a big bracelet I think, the flowers are almost an inch in diameter. Not counting the closure, the bracelet is about 6 inches long.

It's very pretty I would have to warn that you'd have to be very careful with it as the flowers seem to catch on things (like my sleeve as I carefully attempted to take my jacket off).

It's also a little bit heavy but if it's the only thing on your wrist I don't think it's too bad.

Overall, I love this bracelet. It's my first bracelet besides a bunch of regular enamel bangles so I can't compare to any of the other jewelry, but I think the color will go with any outfit for spring or summer.

"Thanks!" again to Dina for their great review!

What are your thoughts on the Primrose Garden Bracelet? Are you considering or already have purchased this bracelet? Have you seen this jewelry piece in person? If so, please share with us your reviews too! :)

  1. Did they ever show this bracelet on a model? It's definitely impractical, not something you'd want to wear to work if you use your hands a lot. It's cute though.

  2. I did see this in store. It was quite pretty. I won't be purchasing it. What a great lower price for those that like JC jewelry.

  3. I have the Primrose Garden necklace in the same color and think it's gorgeous. It is a bit chunky but is definitely a statement piece!

  4. I just ordered the bracelet online in yellow. It is hard to put on, gets all tangled and does not look very polished. It is large. Perhaps for a younger girl. Very disapointed.

  5. Too big and looks cheap and tacky like something from Wal-mart! I just cannot truly believe that people like this stuff and pay good money for it. I mean do you buy it b/c it just is from JCRew??? and you need a brand name???

  6. I need to be able to use my arm/wrist during the day to work. I am not a lady of leisure who can sit around and look at my pretty big bracelet all day. This is so impractical on so many levels for people who work for a living or even stay home to take care of kids.

  7. I bought this bracelet in capri. It was so hard to put on with just one hand (the free one) and it slipped out of my hand and hit the carpet. And 2 beads fell right off. (My carpet is very plush and soft.) Obviously the craftsmanship was not there. I've also heard about missing rhinestones on the ones in store. Overall this bracelet seems too delicate and not worth the money. I returned mine.

  9. Anon 4:04 why exactly does it bother you so much if someone likes something or waste their money on JC? Sheesh what is dog food to one person is caviar to the next.

  10. I like it, very pretty, but yu would have to wear it like to lunch, or church, not to work. I'm thinking abt the cream one, but, worried its so large.

  11. Uh, am I the only one who thinks that the bracelet is being worn backwards in the photo? Wouldn't the design make more sense if we allow gravity to work as it should, and let the drops fall downward?

I do think it looks rather chintzy as well, but perhaps it's different in person.

  12. Saw a bunch of these on sale at the B&M and thought, hmm, a bit old lady yard sale. Kind of cheap looking IRL.

  13. I quite like this bracelet and have been comtemplating getting it. I really want it in the orangey pinky shade but that's now sold out and I just wasn't sure about the cream (which now appears to be more yellow) but having seen it IRL, I might consider buying it. Thanks for the review Dina!

  14. I haven't seen it in person but think it's kind of big and tacky. It just looks like it won't lay correctly on the wrist, if that makes sense. Not sure if I can describe this well, but I think it might be better if the bottom set of beads that dangle from each of the flowers was connected so the flowers wouldn't flop all around. Might give it some more structure.

  15. I agree with Heather M--the bracelet would seem to "work" better if you turn the bracelet around, with the loose drops towards the fingers.

    Thanks for the review!

  16. The hate posts crack me up, as if there's something seriously wrong with a person if they like a particular bracelet or paid full price for a top. Can you say "control freak" ?? :-)

  17. I bought this bracelet and LOVED it. It's so cute and the coral color is really pretty. However, after wearing it for just a few hours, a bead fell off and broke in half. I brought it back to the store and they said they've been getting a lot back and advised me to just return it. I guess there are quality issues with this bracelet.

It's too bad because it really was beautiful.

  18. Wow people! That's the last time I review anything. I got this as gift (thanks boyfriend you recogniz my love of Jcrew) and so I didn't buy it because I need the brand name and I also am not an old lady at a garage sale. Although maybe I did put the bracelet on backwards.

I agree that you can't use this at work (I work on a computer) but while I am being a lady of leisure at a few daytime events coming up ( outdoor engagement party) I think I will wear this bracelet.

Thanks for the comments! I am off to walmart. Hopefully I'll find a matching tacky too big necklace. :)

  19. That's right, Dina! Take it all in stride! Congrats to having a man who recognizes your love of J.Crew. :) I mean, it's YOUR bracelet, right?

I think it'd look great at an engagement party.

  21. Dina I love the bracelet! I'm planning on wearing it a lot this summer.

I bought the necklace & bracelet in the natural (I'm not wearing them together)and I also bought the bracelet in capri & plan on buying the necklace in capri too when there's another sale. Wish my guy would buy me some J Crew you're so lucky. I appreciate your review.

  22. Also, I forgot the color of the natural bracelet is more of a cream color which goes with many different colors.
