ReplyDeleteSlightly OT but ... I just had a rare positive experience with the 20% off that keeps me checking stock 5 times a day like a trained animal. I waited too long for the snow leopard cardi I coveted, it sold out, and lo and behold it appeared in FS in my size at 49.99 during the 20% code. I managed to check out fast, but assumed it would be cancelled, or worse, a return that has been worn. Well it shipped, and arrived in perfect condition for 39.99. These rare miracles keep me coming back, I guess.

ReplyDeleteAlso, nothing was marked as final sale in my order. Does that happen to anyone else? Earlier I was putting belts in and they said "final sale" underneath, but other items did not. Weird.
I cannot believe some of the new items are marked way down on final sale already...Like the Miriam cardigan! It is almost sold out and it is already sold out in some size/colors.

for those JCA's in NY with kids, they are opening a huge crewcuts store on 82nd and madison. I was informed today by the SA at the collection store. :)

Yay that's so good to hear! I live on 82nd and Park! I have no kids, but my boyfriend has 4 nieces and nephews that I love shopping for! My only "gripe" will be if it's going to be a collection store type of thing...ie no sale even if things are on sale in other stores. I hate that about the Mad Ave store. It's fun to look at but I NEVER buy anything there unless it's full price. They are my returns/red phone store haha. I am however, surprised it's taken them THIS LONG to put crew cuts in the city. The UES (and the rest of the city) is crawling with little monsters dressed better than 90% of the country. And to my knowledge Chanel and Dior don't specialize in children's clothing so I am sure it will be a big hit with the city designer crowd. There are some specialty boutiques for children around, but nothing too much. My bet is the store will do even better then the adult collection store. When does it open??
ReplyDeleteDior does have a infant/children's line . . . if I remember correctly, a recent celebrity endorsement came from Brooke Shields, who bought her daughter Rowan a dress at the Dior boutique when in Italy for Tom Cruise/Katie Holmes's wedding. I've seen the Dior bebe stuff--it's gorgeous.

ReplyDeleteHave many items in size 0 or extra small. Even some shoes in 8 or 8.5. Would have to check. Most haven't been worn or even still have tags. Mostly from last summer and the holiday before. Closet is overextended - help me out!
