Although I have not seen this tee in person, I am not sure if I am a fan of the drawstring action that is going on there. Also, $38 seems like a lot of money for this cotton t-shirt. ;) Is it just me, or does this shirt look more like something that Delia*s would offer (and for a lot less). :)
What are your thoughts on Madewell's Striped Drawstring Tee? Are you a fan of the draw string style? :)
I might be the exception here, but I've loved the Madewell collections in previous seasons. But.. not so impressed this go-round. This tee will not flatter many people. The pocket is SO awkwardly placed! And the drawstring just doesn't appeal to me.

ReplyDeletei like the style of the shirt (i like how easy to wear gathered shirts are), but would definitely not buy one with those jail-house-type stripes going across.

ReplyDeletenot terrible, but not $38. The pocket could look interesting...as in bad interesting. i'm ok with the drawstring, left undone. cinched at the waist would be odd to me.

ReplyDeletethe drawstring has to be the least flattering thing ever! i like t-shirts that bring attention to my hourglass figure, not cover it up. maybe on a tall, cameron diaz type figure it would look good.
