Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  1. Local stores were offering 40% off sale items. Good selection of just about everything in the sale section. I ended up getting the Fatigue Jacket.

I also have some reviews here.

    1. Hi rose, as this at Robson? How much was the jacket? Did you notice if they had the sailor stripe tee in the salt/navy? Thank you!

    2. What was the style number on the jacket you got and would also like to know the price?
      Thank you.

    3. I love the Fatigue Jacket. My store had them marked down to $134 this weekend before the discount. Only one large and one x-large left. I have a similar jacket, but I really am debating getting this one...so comfy and love the lining.

  2. I got the Lattice Medallion print pencil skirt since it was cheaper than online.

  3. Just had a great experience with a phone SA! Based on two reviews on that Cast Wildflower Bracelet which only small wrists can wear (I just ordered a timex and have to wear it on the last or second to last opening- cut off the excess and melted it down! So, I think the bracelet will work) I had to have it- it was pre-order- and debated to order it now or wait...but then I said ok let's do it- then I really wanted the bohemian rose bracelet and three other sale items that interested in. She was nice enough to apply Facebook 25 for a discount on everything (25 for regular price 30 for sale) and even looked up my gift cards for me with the grand total being ~$76!!! Thanks Kathy!!!

  4. Went to Factory this weekend and SCORED. Stores had all items 30-60% off, combinable with Gilt City offer for 25%. Walked out with a pair of toothpick jeans, pink winnie pants and a chambray shirt for $75 after all promos.

  6. OT and sharing here in the event you don't read the Like Retailers thread.

The dresses at Loft are cut very well. Much, much better than J Crew has lazily churned out in recent seasons. Visit here & here. Big thumbsup.

    2. I agree, Gigi! I bought two today. No gaping armholes and a good length. I'm a new Loft fan!

    3. I agree as well. Loft has been hitting it out of the park lately. I love their dresses. Their Marisa pant in stretch by far out rival J Crew's Minnies (for me anyway). And I lurrvve their jeans. I lost count of how many pairs I own. They fit great, don't stretch out, and can be had for cheap with Loft's constant promos (even full price they are cheaper than most other brands).

    5. One is Never Enough - I wish I wore/needed more dresses. I would definitely add more Loft.

312JCgirl - I love the modern straight. I hope they keep the silhouette going. I lost count on how many I own, too. :)

  9. This is a bit off topic, but I placed an online order with five items this weekend. Three items shipped today from the warehouse. I called customer service to see if the other two items were being shipped from a store and if they knew the status (I was hoping to get them before the weekend). The online VPS said she had to call "we will find it" to find out what was going on. She put me on hold for about 5 minutes, and sure enough, she found out that the two items were shipped out, from an out of state store, but I still haven't received an "it's shipped" email. The VPS did give me the UPS tracking number. I didn't realize that "we will find it" got involved in shipments from stores.

    1. 312JCgirl - When you place an online order with multiple items, look at the billing. If you see 2 or 3 different line items adding up to your total order amount, that's an indication that you probably have an item or two coming from a store. It's been discussed a couple times here, including this discussion on JCA.

    2. Thanks, Gigi! I did know that JCrew was shipping items from stores for online orders but I didn't realize that the WWFIFY service got involved. I probably should've figured. I know a number of JCAs have had issues with WWFIFY.
