It's interesting to see that J.Crew Factory continues to offer these Flash Sales. This one seems to be one of their better offers. If I am not mistaken, the prices shown are better than the "early access" preview they offered recently.

Will you be taking advantage of this promotion? If so, please share!

  1. Could not fall asleep last night so was able to buy a Charley in Black with the 30% off and FS. Plus I got a PA for the same in Gray that I ordered last week and have not received yet.

    1. JRSConifer, how does the Charley sweater run? I wear a M in retail Jackies. Thanks.

    2. I'm newer to J.Crew so I actually don't own any Jackies, but I've been on a huge Charley and Tippi kick lately. Maybe you've tried Tippi on in store? I found that the Merino Charley runs pretty much the same as Tippi, but possibly just a hair larger. Definitely worth ordering today though, the last time I ordered a Charley I think I paid around $30 to $35. $21 is a steal, I'm trying really hard to resist ordering one out two more today!

    3. Hi SavyShopper. I wear a M in Jackies too. In the Tippis I wear a small and I did try on a Charley in store and felt that the S was the right size for me. I usually wear a shirt underneath so don't like it to be too fitted. They are such a great price for a closet staple. HTH

    4. Me too. I have bought about 5 Tippis this year and could not wait for the basic colors to go on sale, so trying the Charleys

  3. I ordered some vintage tees, nothing special. The brick and mortar factory store didn't have them in yet so this seemed like as good a time as any to get them.

  4. Has anyone actually seen the factory rendition of the scroll print skirt?

    1. I saw it and I waaaaanted it! I don't have the retail one, so I can't compare, but the factory scroll print skirt is slightly more subdued in color compared with the retail dress (I don't have that either, but from my memory it was bright). I didn't try on the factory skirt but I just really liked it on the hangar. The fabric felt nice and the colors were pretty.

    2. @DenneeTyler- I received the factory scroll print skirt and am keeping it. I really like it! The yellow color is def mustard as the name says, not a bright yellow. I think they did a good job on this one. I didn't get the retail because it was a long pencil skirt which never looks good on me even at 5'7". I like the print on my skirt, it doesn't completely match at up the seems but I'm ok with it. I only have one factory pencil skirt (cotton too) and I took a size 2 in both. I usually take a size 4 in retail pencils. HTH

    3. Thanks, all. I ordered it -- we'll see how I like it when it gets here. I usually get pretty fast shipping from J. Crew Factory -- the place they ship from is only 30 miles away.

    4. @cate Did you happen to see the scroll print dress, too? I'm concerned that the poly will ruin the look that the silk would have created. I bought the shorts in this print last year, but have since fallen in love with the Jules silhouette and am regretting not buying the dress, too!

  5. And I caved and bought the Charley in green and blue! Oops. I have apparently had way too much crewlade already, guys! I'm at 7 total for the season: three merino Charleys, two cotton Charleys, a merino Tippi, and the French Knot Tippi, which I had to pay $80 for on eBay. I think someone needs to cut me off! :)

  7. I ordered some things--including a Charley sweater, love them, too--late last night. I was pleasantly surprised to see my order shipped already this evening!

  8. I ordered the collector tee in the pink dots with frame around it. Not sure about this one.also ordered bubble necklace in navy and gray. Couldn't decide which color to get. Also got earrings (can't remember name) teardrop with colors blush and purple. I believe they 18.50 minus 30%. Thought I would get few basics.
