Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  1. Went yesterday. Sale items still a further 50% reduction but they would be shipped out tomorrow, I was told, to make room for the new stock hitting the stores.

    Some reviews hera.

  2. I went. Very little left in the sale room. Got the camo scarf for $15 and an out of case bracelet. I think the out of case jewelry was on promo for 20% off.

  3. No store visit for me this weekend. I'm waiting until the new arrivals are in before I make the trek over to the mall. I know we are supposed to see new arrivals online this week, but does anyone know when they are supposed to be in the stores?

  4. As I mentioned on Friday, there were a lot of new markdowns online, as well as several new promo-priced items, too. I compiled the list of the newest additions...

    See the List Here.

There is also a link to the full list of promo-priced items and previous markdowns at the bottom of the post. :)

For those interested, Madewell has 40% off promo-priced items and sale styles until the end of today. The Madewell promo-priced items list can be seen HERE.

  6. I just want to warn you, guys about Bonded-wool varsity sweater-jacket since it is final sale and online only. I saw it in the store. I think somebody returned it to the store. It was all pilled.

  7. 50% off final sale + 25% not-in-case jewelry. Also, there were a lot of new arrivals already on the floor.

I tried on the Floral Jacquard Mini, which is much prettier in real life. The blue is more of a medium blue — not really the navy color on the website. It was very high quality, thick fabric, which made for a really great mini when worn. However, when you sit down, because the fabric is so thick, it bunches up in the stomach region, making it look like you have rolls (whether you naturally do or don't).

For that reason, I put it on hold to think about it, but ultimately, I did not buy it for the sitting down reason. For the quality, I think $98 is really not a bad deal...especially if you can get a student discount or any other small discount on top of that.
