Madewell Emails {lots of stuff coming!}

"Thanks!" to Nicole who let us know about one of Madewell's latest email. The email reminds us that select new arrivals from Madewell can now be purchased online through ShopBop (click here).

Madewell has been partnered with ShopBop for awhile now (refer to the Feb 24th "Madewell Email: Introducing Madewell for shopbop: Our First Denim Collaboration Ever." post). J.Crew still plans to launch Madewell's own e-commerce website, but it's still unclear when it will happen.

Also, a big "thanks!" to Marietta who shared the following Denim After Dark promotions from Madewell.

Madewell is having a "Denim After Dark" event Thursday, August 6th at their Huntington Station, NY store (between 7-9PM). What is great about these events is that they are offering clients:

- 20% off all jeans
- Free denim hemming
- Denim styling & fit consultants
- Complimentary sodas and sweets

  2. I'm not loving the rubbydub look that Madewell seems to promote. in my circles, very few people dress in torn and stained clothing.

    Madewell could use an injection of style IMO. It's always the same, just different versions of sweater, scarf and (sometimes destroyed) jeans. Nothing wrong with that but they need something that distinguishes the Madewell look.

    J.Crew has some pieces that are hallmarks of the brand and styles so many of us just love. Madewell isn't quite there with the recognition and "gotta have it" factor when you can get the same look almost anywhere else.
