"Thanks!" to love2shop4bags, who shared the latest promotional email from J.Crew Factory.
The email announces that new Fall arrivals are now available at the factory stores. Moreover, select items are already 30% off. Incidentally, many JCAs have reported seeing a version of the Victoria Cami in the brushstroke print at J.Crew's Factory stores- its sounds lovely!
Are you planning to visit a Factory Store to check out the fall collection? Are there any items you are hoping to purchase while there? If so, please share! :)
I would LOVE to go into an oulet soon, but not sure when. It would be great if I can get the abstract rose victoria cami, and other abstract rose prints. I completely missed out on this print in the dress, skirt, and cami last year. I am hoping they will have many other prints and styles from last fall.
ReplyDeleteYup, I got the abstract roses printed Victoria cami from the outlet! Had to do the charge-send since it's not convenient for me to get there. Anyway, it's 100% silk and it's lovely! I even got compliments from the SA in the store!
ReplyDeleteI wasn't sure if I was going to go this weekend or not, but now I think I will. Plus, I have that Ann Taylor coupon that will also work at their factory store.
ReplyDeleteAnd of course, there's the kettle corn vendor who I absolutely LOVE!

They were almost sold out in Michigan city, IN store. A couple camis ans two skirts in that print left. They were like 10 or 12. cami was about $60. There were also andrea jackets in both colors(pink and yellow) but looked not as well made as the retail version. They were about $150(not sure)

I wish we had an outlet to visit!
ReplyDeleteI may stop by actually...
ReplyDeleteIn the teacher lounge at school, I saw a flyer that my local jcrew factory store was opening early for teachers on Saturday with extra promos and savings when you show your id. I've been more pleased with the factory stores lately, so I might just stop by!
AppGal: Look for the jersey dresses I have mentioned. You will love them!
ReplyDeleteI talked a lot about my purchases from the factory store over at Slastena's blog yesterday, so I won't repeat myself, but some highlights:
LOVED everything I bought, but esp. the Sara dress in purple, the abstract rose victoria cami (selling fast), a gorgeous denim mini on super-super clearance, and a charming owl pendant necklace.
I also loved how clean, neat, and nice everything was. The Columbus, Indiana store rocks (I think it was Columbus). I only get to Indiana every once in awhile, but if you live near this store, then lucky you! :)
Oh, and I was more than welcome to use my teacher discount. Whee!
Do the J. Crew outlet stores always have a percentage off? I was there over 4th of July weekend and everything was 40-50% off the tagged price. I know that Banana Republic generally has everything with an additional percentage off, wasn't sure if J. Crew did too. Anybody have any idea? Thanks.
ReplyDeleteHi all,
ReplyDeleteI recv'd this email earlier this week & I have to say, I'm not THAT tempted. The last few times I went to the outlets, I walked away empty handed. However, I should mention that the suiting I saw at the Gilroy factory store was still on sale as of last Saturday. They might be helpful to JCAs so I'll list 'em again, they included:
City fit trousers #99223 in black & grey reg $138 on sale for $95
Tailored pencil skirt #95737 in black, grey & navy pinstripe was $120 now $75
3 button jacket #95735 in black & grey org $238 now $170
The fit wasn't as sharp as I'd like for me, but it might be worth stocking up for a fellow JCA
Also found Corduroy Jackets & skirts with the made-for-outlet 3 diamond logo that were pretty flattering.
If you're into button down blouses, they had a good selection of cotton shirts in solids & patterns. I found that I prefer to wait for the slim stretch shirts to go on sale online. That said, these seem to be well made.
Also saw a lot of jackie & tartine wannabes for around $30-$40. They had some pretty colours, esp purples, blues & peacock. I just can't bring myself to buy 'em when they don't feel as soft & durable as the real deal.
I should mention that when I did make a purchase (who could resist a $10 tie & $6 socks for the DH?) they did honour my edu discount. So f you're stocking up for the Back to School wardrobe now may be a good time to go.
HTH,
Heather:D
P.S. Is it me... or does the model in this advert look rather frail? I'm really tempted to send her a copy of the "Joy of Cooking" & a gift card to Wholefoods - one of my father's favourite care packages from my schooldays :}
Hi again,
ReplyDeleteOooops! I almost forgot!
Denver, I think that you may have been at the outlets during one of their holiday promos. I vaguely remember rev'ing a red/white/blue email advertising an addt'l % off at factory stores during the week of the 4th. As I remember, most of the other stores were also offering sales or extra discounts as an incentive to shop.
That said, each of the (admittedly few) times I've gone to the factory outlet, they have had quite a few instore specials advertised. For example, the last time I went in, suiting was an addtil %30 off & sweaters had a $5 off sale sign.
HTH,
H:D

ReplyDeletethe arundel mills outlet had a lot of the abstract rose victorias.
ReplyDeletei don't find the fit of the victoria all that flattering on me but i was able to pick up a beautiful scarf in the abstract rose pattern.
I was able to pick up the campo di fiore sweater dress from the Ontario Mills outlet for 32.00 with the 20% off, looking at the tag i believe it was the retail version. I also got the victoria cami in navy, although i tried on the gorgeous abstract victoria cami, i decided i would get more use of the navy color. But I'm thinking about going back for the scarf in that print though!
