me, the Crew,... and you!

A big "thank you!" to all those visiting this blog and posting comments! I am always excited to see and hear from other J. Crew aficionados (or aficionadas in this case!)

This blog is meant to be an open conversation for all J.Crew shoppers and admirers. Hopefully it is a place you feel welcomed to discuss. (That is why I enabled "comment posters" to have the option to be "anonymous".)

What are some of the topics you want to discuss and see more of on this blog? ...besides codes of course! (Which I will update when I come across them. I even posted them on the top right hand column for easy, quick viewing access.)

  1. I love your blog!!!! Thank you for starting it! I would love to see more about everyone's favorite J Crew pieces and their least favorite and why. Love to hear everyone's feeling about the fit of each thing they have tried on and also about the rising prices at J Crew.

    Thanks again!

  2. Great blog --another fan here. But I have a love/hate relationship with them. I would love to know about their crazy sizing! Why can't their shoes, dresses, and pants, be more consistent with sizing. I've hesitated many a time before I purchase just trying to figure out if it will fit and I'm average sized. Do you know anything about this? Their shoes are especially bad.

  3. I have a question for you. Is it possible to return an item that was from 2 for $38 sale?

  4. Hey Allison! I hear you about sizes... especially when it comes to shoes & dresses. I can range from a size 0 to a 4 in dress size. Which is a huge issue when I buy online!

Unfortunately, I don't know 100% why their sizes range so much. I suspect it's due to the multiple manufacturers they outsource to. Different manufacturers may have different "sizing" measurements.

Also, for the question about returning an item from a "2 for $38" sale... absolutely you can! J.Crew might charge you the regular price of the item for the one you are keeping (since it is no longer 2 for $X amount). However, I have found through a past experience that they might not.

  5. Also, a big "thank you" to the first poster [anonymous at 7:42AM]. Glad you are enjoying the site. Definitely will include posts about fits and the rising prices of J.Crew merchandise (like the J.Crew Collection lines).

  6. Everyone has such a different experience with JCrew. Guess that is what we are here to find out and discuss. I consistently wear a size 8 in JCrew clothing....tops and bottoms--skirts and dresses. That is why I like them so much. I can confidently buy a Medium or an 8 and it will fit. I haven't tried their dressier shoes; I have bought a ton of flip flops but I got my normal size in them and my fleece lined wellies...
