ReplyDeletejcrew is having a "regional sample sale" in greensboro. it started yesterday and runs through sunday. I went yesterday and thought that the prices were a little higher than they usually are at the lynchburg sample sales and there was no additional discount (at least not on thursday). some of the current items they had were cheaper online with extra 40 or 50% off sale.

DeleteWent into j crew. The sale rack looked so sad I almost didn't go over! Happily I did. Got a fair isle sweater and a color block sweater both for $ 49.95. Score!
ReplyDeleteWent in to return online order. Asked for a February catalog and was told it wouldn't be "out" until Wednesday. The wooden boxes at the counter that usually hold catalogs were all empty. The sale section was half empty and what remained was shopworn and ratty. There were maybe two customers in the store and no one else at the register with me. Really sad. I have gift cards to use and nothing to buy!
