  1. There were so many vents that I had to chime in on the "love" side!
I love my new Downing Tote in saddle brown. I felt a bit guilty buying it (online with 25 percent off a couple weeks ago...with tax and shipping only amounted to $20 off or so) but now I am SO HAPPY with it. It's just perfect. Clean, lightweight, classic, just an effortless spring/summer bag. LOVE.

The same nice day last weekend when I test-drived my Downing tote, I also wore my new Campbell capris and a chambray popover from last summer. I felt so effortlessly pulled-together....I love that about J Crew!

Yesterday I went to the 5th Ave flagship to shop the sale....tried the Bleached-Out Indigo Top on a whim and loved it! It will look great with capris and ballet flats or loafers for a polished-casual spring look, but it also looked great with my black jeans and distressed Alexander Wang booties in the fitting room yesterday...I can't wait to accessorize with some chunky vintagey rock n roll jewelry. Versatility. I love that.

Oh-- and after the 20% off sale, 25% off entire purchase, and a lower-than-stickered starting price (which happens a lot in the sale section of brick and mortar J Crews), it was marked down from $89.50 to $17.95. Yeah. THANK YOU J CREW!

  2. Love my entire order from J Crew Factory. The relaxed utility pants fit TTS and are 100% ripstop cotton. The faded olive color is very nice. The Factory merino long cardigans are beautiful; I got navy and heather dusk. Length on these = not as long as the retail long merino cardigans. The short-sleeve button down shirt in gingham is adorable with the rounded collar. The colors (sky poppy) are great and it isn't too country schoolgirl, at least not to me. I'm keeping it all!

  4. I just received a Tippi in neon rose. I bought it final sale without having seen the color IRL and... it is so pretty! It just makes me smile...
