J.Crew Factory Exclusive Early Access: Shop new arrivals before everyone else

"Thanks!" to many of you, who shared the following news/email from J.Crew Factory with us.

J.Crew Factory is offering a sneak peek at the latest arrivals with prices up to 30% off! They are also throwing in free shipping (no min!). Both these offers are just for today! So check your email to see if you got the invite and code.

Is it just me, or is J.Crew Factory now doing duplicates of their duplicates? How meta of them...

"Thanks!" to GigisGoneShopping (in this post), who reminded us that J.Crew is offering an additional 25% off purchases of $125+ over at J.Crew Factory using promo code STOCKUP. Cardmembers enjoy an extra 30% off purchases of $125+ using promo code CARDPERK. Yey! This offer expires March 23, 2014.

Have you received this email? Will you be taking advantage of this promotion? Any items you are interested in? If so, please share!

  1. Duplicates of their duplicates. lol, Alexis. I felt the same when I saw the anchor tank. STOCKUP for 25% off $125+ & CARDPERK for 30% off $125+ is working in conjunction w/the 30% off new arrivals. I might have to get the apple/peach sweater since my retail ones got awful holes in it.

  4. I liked the Factory rollout better than the retail this morning. And with the 30% CardPerk promo the prices were very reasonable.

    1. I'm with you - I've got a bunch of stuff in my factory shopping cart. The only thing I really love so far from the retail rollout is the blooming floral circle skirt (but ouch! the price).

  5. Oh, I'm glad I saw this! Thanks Alexis and Gigi! I had just placed an order a few minutes ago with the Factory access link, and then promptly canceled that order when I saw I could get an additional 25% off. Reordered with the discount (of course now adding a couple more items to the order)!

  6. I didn't think I would be buying anything, yet I ordered 4 items. They got me with the stripe/floral print items and that lace scallop skirt. I think I liked more from Factory then the retail side today.

  8. Thanks for the info, Gigi and Alexis!

Boy, this teaches me..I should just wait for factory roll-outs. All my faves from retail have been duplicated. I don't often wear my items that I get on super-sale from retail. I still have the orange shirt and jacquard dot retail tops with their tags still on! But I would prefer the offerings of Factory, since the fabric is much more manageable for me (cotton vs. silk). I know it seems ridic to order the same style/color of items I purchased at the retail site from the factory site...Sigh...first world problems, right?

I'm with the rest of the gang...retail roll-out didn't do anything for me. Could not find anything I would love...except maybe the Vans and the summer Sperry Top-siders.

    1. Totally not ridiculous! I've re-purchased the factory version of many retail items for that exact reason--more durable fabrics and often better fits (as sz. xs in factory shirts fit better than a sz. 2 or sz.4 in retail). I'm thinking right now about re-buying the orange button-down to replace the delicate silk one from retail last year.

  9. Hi all!
The factory layering tanks look the same as the vintage cotton tanks from retail. Do y'all find that they fit the same? I size down in the retail vintage cotton tanks compared to the v-necks, wondering if I should do the same for the factory version.

I agree, my cart is way more full over here than from the retail offerings! Though I did manage to grab the denim western shirt in the faded wash with the extra40 and free shipping last night, thanks to gigi for the heads up that top was eligible for the discount! :)

  10. I ended up placing a big factory order. I plan on returning some of it but we will see how it goes once everything arrives. I agree I liked the factory rollout better than retail. I think I am also conditioned to wait for markdowns for retail as the new items seem to be getting moved to sale fairly quickly and then get an extra % off. I have missed out o. A few things but nothing I can't live without.

  11. Ah now I know why "Hannah" was wearing the orange shirt in the last episode of Girls. I was wondering why she was wearing a top from several seasons ago but now guessing it was in anticipation of the Factory redux.

  12. Egyptomaniac - Glad you saw the code and were able to re-do your order.

audball - ITA about the wearability of the Crewlet fabrics. Much better for my life. Although it remains to be seen if I will wear the silk blouse I just purchased from there...wait for it..."for only" $25. The color is electric, though.

ajr - Glad you saw the denim shirt & got the code on it. I like that one. :)

  13. My favorite item in the rollout is the jacquard dot anchor popover, but it's already sold out?! What the!

  14. The anchor popover is back in stock. Like the anchor sick person I am I just ordered it! Damn Factory keeps me hooked! Although retail has lost me with the pricing lately and not too exciting options. Madewell, has also done a great job of claiming my money.
