Very pleased with some extreme popbacks that arrived last night: a lady jacket from HO12 and a pair of minnies from SP11. The minnies especially were a treat -- they're longer and leaner than the current version, and more flattering IMHO. I don't know (and probably don't want to know) where these pieces have been hiding all this time!
ReplyDeleteProbably spring cleaning at the warehouse. If you would ever see the warehouse, you would understand. I think they find some random box that was put on the back of the self and voila, there are your goodies. Sometimes when they have the warehouse sell, they actually open part of the warehouse and you can see the massive shelves with the massive boxes moving them around with a forklift. You think wow, that might be the skirt from SP09 that got away. I don't see how they keep anything straight.
ReplyDeleteToday's New York Times Styles section features two pictures of Jenna Lyons on its cover page. The article is about cameos.
ReplyDeleteLove the puff sleeve blazer in vanilla. Nice material, great color, fantastic shape and structure. This will be a wardrobe workhorse from work to wearing it with tee shirts and jeans. (Just have to figure out a way to keep it clean). I would say true to size, although I'm currently a new nursing mom, so hard to tell -- my regular size is tight in the chest, but I'm hoping it fits when things "settle."
ReplyDeleteI also love that I was able to get a price adjustment of 30% with no problem.
Loved this full-price promo (with the new rollout)!
