Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SPRING sale, or to see some new SUMMER arrivals {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  1. 20% off and free ship for men's and women's shorts and flip flops, select styles, in store and online, offer expires Wednesday midnight est. Now if only the weather hereabouts will warm up to seasonal norms...

  2. The "today enjoy free shipping" promo was in my account. I really like these promos and was tempted to order a few things, but didn't. (Good for my wallet!)

  3. I am a huge fan of JCrew flip flops.
    This year they changed the footbed to textured which I do not like/find comfortable.

    I hope they switch back next year.

    Normally I buy several pair a year from JCrew.

    Please change your footbeds back to the old smooth ones for summer 2012!

  4. Oh good, because the pair I wanted yesterday in store was $39.50. What? Forty bucks? {I have to admit that I like JCrew flipflops better than Havaianas}

  6. OK, weird. Many of the flip flops online are already in-store on sale for much cheaper than the 20% off. I got my black leopard print flip-flops for $9 and the gray are $12.50 on sale online, but the black are not, they are still $19.50. I also saw the jeweled ones for $12.50, and the flower top ones too on sale. If you live by a B&M I would definitely stop by there first.

  7. I saw the linen Tessa top on sale for $45 in the stores, all colors. The Chambray tuxedo cami also was on the sale rack while both are still FP online. HTH someone!

  8. I was just considering getting some more of the basic chino shorts but wanted to wait for another sale. The only bad thing about this promo is some of the colors of shorts were on sale and now they are not.

  11. I didn't have a chance to visit the store (my local store is always quite sparse anyway), but I did purchase the Horizon Stripe Pencil Skirt. Whenever it pops up on the sale section, it is usually not in my size or it is sold out before I can check out! I know some hate exposed zippers, but I'm a fan of the mod look. Used my Free Shipping promo e-mailed to card holders last week.

  12. I didn't visit Jcrew this weekend but I did make my first visit to Madewell. OMG what an incredibly boring store! And I don't get why they even need this label, it is exactly the same store as J.Crew has morphed into: thin baggy disposable tees, awkward lifeless dresses, gingham boyshirts, etc

  13. I picked up two of the silk henley tops {popsicle pink & vintage linen} they were $19.99 ... also found a cute frog pin for $9.99 .... the Galleria had a lot of sale merchandise as did Northpark {Dallas TX} ...
