It is always nice to see a free shipping code. Although, to be completely honest, I was hoping to see something else (like an additional percent off sale). Ah well! I will take what I can get. :)

ReplyDeleteI was not expecting a % off at all today after J.Crew offered free shipping no minimum last week so free ship with $150 and the suit promo is really great IMO.

ReplyDeleteNo swim for me this time, the Casbah bikini I ordered was so oddly sized and the last lomellina bikini bottom I bought in my usual size was huge. I'll sit out the swimwear this time around.
ReplyDeleteI did place a sizable order including a couple of popbacks and a few full price items that I want to wear now. Also picked up a linen shirt for my husband, there are some good deals on them already and the Baird McNutt are pretty good quality.

ReplyDeleteI feel the free shipping promote is pretty decent. Last time with similar update, I ended up paying a lot for shipping (ouch)! I guess I'll pass on the sale on swim suits, I already bought a couple of them in the past few weeks..... Bad timing that is!

ReplyDeleteI live in Tucson, so I have to stock up on swim wear while I have a chance, as it is my outfit of choice in the hot summer, even hot spring, months! So yes, this was a great promo for me!

ReplyDeleteHmmm. I was on J Crew's web site early Monday morning when the big update occurred. I looked through the entire sale section. Now it's Tuesday morning, I looked at the sale section again at 12:15am CDT. I saw some additional sizes and colors of items that were present after the Monday morning update, and I also saw some new items. There must have been some kind of mini update, maybe at midnight EDT?
ReplyDeleteExample: the size 6.5 Emellines have been sold out for a while and this morning after the update they were still sold out, but now they're available in the aged driftwood color.
So I guess I need to check the web site in the late evening and early morning? :)
Another nice update this morning, not quite as big as Monday's but certainly decent. I always watch the shoe count :), it went from 108 to 132.
ReplyDeleteNot sure why it's not showing up in the sale section or via product search, but my bookmark to the Schoolboy blazer in canvas shows that it's available in size 12 and only $79.99. I was able to add it to my cart so I'm assuming it's an active item. (I didn't check out.)

ReplyDeleteJcee, it's usually in the very early morning, around 5:30am ET. This morning it must have been later, I was on until 6:30am and thought I saw a few new items, but I'm seeing more now that weren't there earlier so I'm assuming the update happened after 6:30am. And sometimes I've seen small updates at midnight ET when they add/delete promos, but what I've noticed then is just additional sizes colors, not new items.
ReplyDeleteThe current promo expires at midnight ET. I wonder what's coming up next. I would rather have a mega update with all of my remaining target items than a %-off promo!
