  2. I love the flores print perfect shirt. Wore that yesterday and noticed it felt smooth - so I looked at the label thinking it was mostly polyester (like Gigi said - "the two girls"). I was pleasantly surprised that the fabric has a 43% silk content! Not to mention it looks great and goes with so many colors.... (and yes FFM I got that with freeship no minimum)

  3. Although I often whine about wishing Jcrew would return to classics, I still find a bunch of stuff that I love.

I just received the iris suede sandal in wild berry. The colour is gorgeous! And so comfortable! I feel like I should order another colour...maybe if it goes on sale...

  4. Must say I love the Shelby dress. It hit 70's here today and I wore it for going outside. I love the fullness of the cotton dress tampered by the cinched-in waist. A nice change from the clingy knit/jersey dresses. It's comfortable, stylish and versatile (dinner, playground, you name it!).

  5. I have been wearing my Salina Leather Sandals in toffee all week, and i love love them! I thought the double buckle on each shoe would be a chore, but they are so cute, it is worth it! They will get a lot of mileage this summer!

  6. The fine spun henley tank in olive tree (sale $14.99) is one of my top 5 favorite tanks ever. Enough said.

  8. I feel like my dreams and rants on this blog have just been answered. I got some of the Perfect Fit Tees from the Summer collection in and - the fabric has gotten thicker! I've posted here about how the Perfect Fit Tees fabric quality has deteriorated over past seasons. I first became a J. Crew shopper in spring of 2010, so that's my frame of reference. I noticed that the tees became thinner in Fall of 2010, and hit a new low with the Spring 2011 colors. But someone at the top must have been listening because for once we see a quality *increase* for J. Crew! Bravo. I hope they keep it up. Interestingly, a Factory tee I have from around 2008 or so is even thicker than the FP ones from 2010 - about the same quality as what Eddie Bauer offers. I hope it's not asking too much that maybe JC could even surpass their highest level of fabric quality yet (or at least that known to me, from Spring 2010) and up their standards to the Factory 2008 level. Also I would drop everything and buy a ton of tees to save for posterity right now, but I'm not liking the Summer 2011 colors so much. Can JC please bring back sweet, lovely colors? Colors like Breeze, Heathered Mint, and Light Nectar are some I could go for :).

  9. Oh btw, Alexis, could you put the "Looking to Love" and "Looking to Vent" posts under the "Weekly Posts" on the right sidebar of the home page? That would make them easier to find :).
