J.Crew Email: FROCK ON: UP TO 40% OFF DRESSES, NEW ARRIVALS + FREE SHIPPING

"Thanks!" to many of you, including Desert Flower, who shared the following email from J.Crew this morning.

J.Crew Factory (click here to shop online) is open for the weekend with new arrivals. But wait there's more! They are offering up to 40% off on select factory dresses. They are also offering free shipping on ALL factory items. Wahoo! (Prices will be automatically marked down and free shipping is automatically applied, no code required.)

As JCAs know... if you live near a Factory Store, check them out first. The B&M Factory Stores tend to have better promotions and sale prices.

What are your thoughts on J.Crew's Factory Summer offerings? Will you check them out?

  1. Did anyone else notice last night that they had the factory seersucker cuffed pants for only $14 (+ free shipping)? I knew it had to be an error, but I hopped on that deal quick. They're $54.50 now. Now, here's hoping they actually ship!

  2. Not sure if anyone else has noticed yet, but right now, on the sweaters page, it says "YAWAH.COM" over the Cashmere Maureen. In case they fix it: http://img848.imageshack.us/img848/3686/picture12a.png

  3. LauraK,
I had something like your luck several years ago around 2007ish when the ruffle neck merino sweaters were "accidently" $20 (free ship too in the good ole days) instead of $88 for a few hours. I bought every color and they all shipped. I also noticed the sweater never went on sale....I tried emailing a couple of friends about the deal but the price went back up within a few hours.

  5. I looked, I don't see anything for me @ Factory today ... my schoolboy madras shirt will be arriving today and I cannot WAIT to see it, yay. ...

I've also picked up some super cute shoes on eBay this week. You can score some fantastic deals right now, lots of people seem to be selling lovelier-than-usual treasures for a song. :)

  6. I just did a mock checkout with my 20% off cardholder coupon with Factory only items, and it worked! Hm, methinks a dress & some shorts might be in my future...

  7. LauraK- I saw that too! I pounced on that one quick! That's happened a few other times to me before, where the price seemed to be a mistake, but the item always shipped. Here's hoping it does this time too!

  9. @Genny Good find on those sweaters. I'm going to keep my eyes peeled for deals now.

  10. LauraK...I noticed them too! Had them in my cart earlier yesterday (before the free shipping update) but never checked out. By the time I noticed the free shipping, they were gone...Spent some time lamenting on what to wear them with and wheter it was worth the extra tailoring. Need petite length.
Happy others got it before they fixed it :)

  11. Dang it! J Crew stood me up this morning! I waited patiently for an update and it never happened. Bad boyfriend! (laughing) Maybe there are no updates on Saturday morning? Elaine, I agree about eBay, I've gotten a few nice things for myself and a great pair of shoes for my husband. I'm stalking eBay now as much as I do J Crew's web site.

  14. There was a minor update this morning, I was online when it occurred (love that!) but didn't find what I was looking for. Will try again tomorrow morning. :)

Does anyone have the Eliza boots? I'm thinking about buying them but want to nail the size. Some boots I take 7, others 6.5. But the Eliza boot bottom looks a lot like the Coddington, in which case I might even want 7.5. (I like my boots to be 1/2 size larger than my shoes, usually.) Any sizing info would be greatly appreciated! Comparison to other boots would be great. TIA.

  18. Ooh, free shipping and no final sale now! I checked out in record time. Now if only they'd have a major update of the sale section, it would be the trifecta. :)
