  4. I am so glad to see Free Shipping/No Minimum back again! There are a couple of things I'm contemplating that I didn't see in the store, so I may just take advantage of this.

  5. There wasn't much of an update this morning but I did find a great popback, and because of no minimum for the free shipping I checked out in record speed! I logged on at 4:35am CDT and I was done checking out at 4:38am. :) Thank you J Crew!

  6. Like Pansy I ordered the Perfect Shirt in Schoolboy Madras. I had called 4 J Crews in Michigan this weekend looking for it and none of the stores had it, so I was very happy about the free shipping with no minimum!

I had to laugh...one of the stores I called asked me which color I was looking for in the shirt!

  9. I got the canteen pants in dark pewter using a rewards card I had.

I sized down in these (as I did in the day tripper pants as well).

  10. I finally got the confetti striped sweater dress that kept disappearing from cart. Hope that it ships quickly so I can wear it to a couple of parties before it gets too warm to wear merino.

  11. I'm a JCrew first timer. I live in Europe so having my mother in law bring it over when she's here in June.
    My big haul includes

    cecilia dress in blue
    beatrice blouse in olive
no. 2 pencil skirt in double-serge cotton
cotton tie-front cardigan in dark pewter
    perfect-fit henley in black
    herringbone cargo dress in olive
sutton tall leather midheel boots in black

I'm a bit worried about sizing... I got so much stuff because I had a baby 10 months ago and will be heading back to work in 2 months. I do not fit in most of my pre-preg stuff so need clothes. I have no idea what my jcrew size is. just hoping i don't need to send any back.

I am really really looking forward to seeing it all and trying it on!!!!! exciting!!!!

  12. Awesome, except that there isn't anything I want, boooooo!

Pansy, you will *love* the schoolboy madras shirt. This will show you how crazy I am -- last week when mine arrived and I tried it on and admired myself, I had a moment of sheer panic thinking, 'What if I ever went on a trip and it got lost or stolen?'

    LOL!

I tend to take my favorite things with me when I travel, which I know is dumb. But I'm looking forward to getting lots of wear out of this gorgeous shirt this summer.

  13. This rocks!! I got the full-price French t-shirt (it's just cool) and then two sale priced items: the marled sweatshirt tee and the two-tone flip-flops. Am feeling summer casual!

  14. Ema, what size dress did you get? I was eyeing that dress as well, given it's the same price as the sweater.

Suzy Babar, you can always e-mail Customer Service for measurements. If still not sure, check out this blog or the linked ones (on the blog roll) for reviews. Good luck!

  15. Does anyone know what time the update occurred this morning? I was on the site at 4:35am CDT, it didn't initially appear that there was an update because the category counts didn't look like they had increased, but when I clicked through my bookmarks I found an item in my size that hadn't been there the night before. Just wondering if I need to get up even earlier. I'm on a mission, people!

  16. What's up with the islet paisley shirt going back up to full price? I was looking for it this morning in the sale section and couldn't find it. Looks like all sizes are still available, too. Strange!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Shopalot, I noticed that too! I was pretty sure that the Islet Paisley shirt had been marked down to $49.99 at about the same time that the Schoolboy Madras was, but this morning it was no longer in the sale section. Not sure why it bounced back to FP.

  18. @Beyondtheblue - I guess we both love those perfect shirts!

Lake Grove NY B&M has the Islet paisley perfect shirt in a few sizes this weekend. I got one - it was $49.99 + 30% off (final sale, though). Maybe give them a call?

The perfect shirt in amory floral was also marked down to $49.99 +30% in the store. HTH!

  19. Rose, I got an extra-small. I have never tried it on but I tried recently the sweater in a xxs and it was too snug in the shoulders, so I figured that the dress would fit the same.

tamara, I didn't see a big update. I was actually surprised that the dress was available in my size, since it flew off my cart on Friday but other sizes (S and M if I am not wrong) were still available as of yesterday.

  20. Hi Pansy, You are so right about loving those Perfect Shirts! How great that you were able to get the Islet Paisley on sale and with the extra 30% off no less- the stores here in Michigan were no longer offering the additional discount. Thanks for letting me know that your store has them...I may have to give them a call! Thanks again. :)

  21. Tamara, you cracked me up with your "I'm on a mission, people" comment. I wish I could tell you about the update but I would need to be up around 3:30 am or so. I wish they would do updates at a decent time for those of us on the West Coast. I have given up on trying to catch pop-backs. It is way too early for me !

  22. I noticed the site had been updated by 7:15 am Eastern Time today.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I checked at 5:50am this morning and the site had definitely been updated.

  24. I was up at my usual 4:30am CDT, and I think the update occurred at about 4:50am CDT, not exactly sure because I was super foggy this morning. :) I think the biggest updates were to the sweater and tee shirt sections. I bought a popback Cielo and then went back to bed.

Shekster, is 2:30am any better for you? :) I don't know which is worse, 4:30 or 2:30. My normal wake up time is 7:30 and now that's totally screwed up from getting up early to stalk the J Crew site so many weeks in a row. But I can't help myself. There are a few more items I would love to get!

    ReplyDelete
  25. I wasn't looking for popbacks or anything specific but the free ship/no min promotion prompted me to buy a pair of two tone flip flops in navy/orange and a mixed tape cardigan in dried rose.

I'm going to wear the navy/orange flip flops with the orange side snap tee I purchased in store for $19.50.

  26. Elaine...You're not alone. I normally take my favorite J. Crew pieces when I travel as well and use all my family members' hand luggage :)...I'd totally loose it if any of them were lost/stolen, my goodness the amount of wheeling and dealing I go through to acquire them, lol.

  27. I worked so hard to acquire my Britten tall boots, stalking J Crew and eBay (because I was a dummy and didn't get them when they first went on sale)(in my defense the shoes and boots weren't even on my radar then), I almost don't want to wear them, they're so perfect. :) I have brown and black. It's hot out now so I won't be wearing them til Fall. I need a backup pair!

    ReplyDelete
  28. 2:30 am? OMG maybe I will just give up sleep altogether ! I usually get up around 6 am so 2:30 is still a no win for me.

    ReplyDelete
  29. The only way I get to watch for popups on the west coast is when my baby get ups in the middle of the night. I secretly don't mind because I get to do a little shopping on my phone while I put him back to sleep! Terrible I know! It has made late night feedings not so dreadful...

  30. OK, this morning I was on at 4:40am, the update officially occurred at 4:45am (the category numbers bumped up and everything was fully visible in the sale section) but I'm sure items were available before that, because in the past I've been able to get to items via bookmarks before they're visible in the sale section. At least I'm 99% certain. :) It's pretty early for me, hallucinations are possible. :)

Free shipping ends tonight, will there be a %-off promo tomorrow? Do I have to get up at 4am?

    ReplyDelete
  31. BTW, a good number of additions to the sale section this morning, but of course you already know that because you went there before you came here. :)

  32. The bavarian blue Jackie is on sale for $39.99. Such a pretty color. Hope the radiant orchid gets marked down soon.
