If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to take advantage of what's left in the post holiday sales, the additional 30%-50% off sales, or to see some new Spring/ Resort arrivals in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic! Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!
I got my double cloth dover coat in the mail today size 12 Tall in dark poppy. Its gorgeous but too big in the waist!! It was final sale but they put a stipulation on the account that I could return the item since they could not provide me with any measurements. I am going to return it to the King Of Prussia B&M on Monday. If someone here wants the coat I will put in on hold for you. It is gorgeous and I'm so sad it doesnt fit! Email me at (gwenphillips160 at yahoo dot com) if you want it put on hold.
ReplyDeleteI wish there was a spring version of the boucle astrid - one in a pretty, light pink. I've come to just adore the astrid boucle jacket - I have it in hot pink (or bright berry as I think the color is called), charcoal, and in black in the gorgeous cascading flowers. I find it's just a perfect little cropped jacket. Maybe I'll write Mickey and suggest light pink boucle. Anyone want to second my motion?
ReplyDeletegwen, if you like the coat so much, try taking it to a tailor and see if anything can be done to the waist at a reasonable price. Most of the time, alterations can work wonders.
ReplyDeleteI would really like to hear if anyone has seen the Merino Microstripe V-neck Cardigan? If you could comment on the fit that would be great.

(Sorry, I am still trying to learn how to create a link)
TIA
La Belle Helene...
ReplyDeleteThat is a good idea! I'll bring it to someone on Monday to see how much it would cost. I know completely reconstructing a coat can't be cheap! I do LOVE the coat and color. The extra fabric is just not flattering on me. I needed the larger size for my chest, not my belly!
If any JCA's are coveting this coat than I'll leave it to you but if there are no takers...It may go back depending on the $$ of alterations.
Gwen, I can't find the dover coat on j.crew's website to take a look at it, but for the most part, nipping in a waist, even for an overcoat, isn't prohibitive. I hope it works out for you - I've gotten quite a lot of alterations done & ended up really happy with the item.
ReplyDeleteSproutina - I also saw a TON of ingrids at the King of Prussia, PA store last weekend. Also saw some at the 5th Ave store in NYC but in a more limited range of colors and sizes. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteSo I re-ordered my Zoey in a 0 the other day since the 2 was huge and I LOOOOOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteAll you ladies passing up on the Zoey Whisper Lame in Nectar just because its ORANGEY... go back and get it! It's such a beautiful color and very iridescent. Once spring/summer rolls around its going to be even better looking on you! I can't wait to get a tan and show that puppy off! Get it while it's still on sale! :)
OT, but isn't this Mossimo Bag from Target eerily similar to J. Crew's gorgeously overpriced Editor's Tote? I still prefer J. Crew's for the quality leather but...the shape and size are basically identical. Target's color is a bit darker and it lacks the cool chain. But still very similar.
ReplyDeleteI will post this in Monday's exchange, but thought I'd get a jump start: I have an ivory Shipley size 8 for sale. $80 shipped, if anyone is interested. email me at malfitano@comcast.net
ReplyDeleteFor those interested:
ReplyDeleteGayle Ruffle Trench (Item No 90815)
Color: Dune (Sandy beige color)
Size: 6
Price: $79.99... w/additional 50% off
Available at:
Valley Fair (California)
I got the Zoey whisper lame tank in the blue jasmine & it is gorgeous; will be fab w/ white jeans when spring/summer arrives!
ReplyDeleteTowson, MD store has the Travel Trench in Dune in size 0 thru 8, and a few in Navy but not sure of the sizes. I think someone was inquiring about this earlier in this post.
ReplyDeleteAlso, this store had signs for the Portland sweater with a sweater which was definitely not a Portland.
Thanks for the headsup everyone about Target look-a-likes for JCrew stuff.
ReplyDeleteHere's a picture of me wearing a ruffled tank and bubble necklace from Target, that look like they were inspired by JCrew pieces. (I got these last Thursday, so anyone looking for these pieces should visit their local Target. The ruffled tank was $18 and the necklace was $15.

has anyone tried the Cotton-Linen Aubrey? Comments please? I saw Chezmegan's and was wondering if anyone else didn't like the off-white IRL...does it look dirty? too rumpled? I eyed the navy in store but didn't try it on and am wondering about ordering a petite size....
ReplyDeleteTIA!!
Kater -- I've been offline for several days now, but I just got your message and sent you an email.
ReplyDeleteLyssa -- I completely second/third/whatever number it's on the Cole Haan pumps and boots with Nike Air. I own multiple pairs in different styles and they're fantastic. They have much more padding in them than any other heeled shoes I've tried.
ReplyDeletelady cake: if you see this, i just sent you an email. thanks!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see some real-life pictures of the glass bead necklaces. I am wondering if I should take the plunge...

anon at 11:40 --
ReplyDeleteI really like this outfit, looks just like j.crew. I might have to head out to target!
OT but how many JCAs have been getting the dreaded cancellation emails?? I was looking forward to the distressed slim jeans.... Heartbroken. If anyone has a pair in a 28, please let me know!
ReplyDeleteKate!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the free shipping code- it worked!
La Belle Helene-I second that!
ReplyDeleteI have the boucle in Charcoal, and the CF in Black and Ivory(got them FS!) Still working on the flower for the Charcoal one...
krista: YGM!
ReplyDeleteAH! So I just pulled the trigger on the Avignon Peep Toes as they only had 1 "in stock" in my size and color. I know that they will likely be replenished, and I should probably wait until sale, but I just want these shoes and don't want to risk them disappearing! AH! I feel sick...
ReplyDeleteKate!- The jersey dresses in brown and orange at Westport are knee length, have a u neckline, are sleeveless, and have a string around the waist that ties in the back. There is slight gathering around the chest. I cannot find the name of it or a picture that is even close. Looks like it's from last summer or fall maybe?
ReplyDeleteI am sooo sick of seeing that annoying green page. I have tried everything. If it is on JCrew's end, why is everyone not experiencing the same thing? Online is the ONLY way I can shop JCrew :(
ReplyDeletetheres a black maggie in a 0 online right now! for those of you who have been coveting it! i'm soo tempted but i have wayyy too many black blazers...
ReplyDeleteHas anyone seen the new spring cashmere or shoes in their B&M store? I'm debating whether to drive an hour to a higher-end store...
ReplyDeleteKate! The brown and orange knit dresses are the short version of the long shoreline knit dress. I tried it on (the short one) and it was extremely low on me, but I'm a 36C. I was able to wear my normal size (I usually have to size up with their knit dresses). HTH
ReplyDeleteCalled JCrew reg: the green screen error
ReplyDelete"this is the first we have heard about this... blah, blah blah.... would you like to place an order"
I went to my B&M in Tucson yesterday. They had hardly any final sale and it looked very unappealing and picked-over. I did not buy anything there because they don't have my size in store (14) but I grabbed a catalog and really ruminated on what I liked rather than place a huge order in store. That said, I ordered from home using a free shipping code. I am just ordering to try on so I know how much I really want things, since I have no other way to try on. If there had been no free shipping I would not have bothered. My husband will do the return for me. Unless I really, really, really love an item I am not keeping it.
ReplyDeleteDECLINING QUALITY ALERT: While in store I really examined the flower applique tees. I did like "tissue tee with hand-cut applique," item 12670. The store had a dark grey color that is not offered online. When I pulled one from the stack to examine the appliques I noticed two holes in the fabric, one on each side of where the size tag was sewn in. This leads me to believe the fabric is flimsy and prone to tears. I picked up several more of the in varying colors and sizes and 2/3 had holes by the size tag. I guess the weight of the tags was too much for the fabric to handle?!?
ceecee, wow, you lucky devil - the cascading flowers in black *and* ivory! How divine.
ReplyDeleteMay I ask what you're wearing them/planning to wear them (especially the black one) with besides jeans?
OT:
ReplyDeleteI have a NWT black San Telmo in sz 4 that I'm willing to part with for $25 with $5 shipping. I also have a petite fav fit trouser cord in black sz p4 for $25 with $5 shipping. Please email at dazzle2_in@yahoo.com
hmmm...when is the site going to update????
ReplyDeleteAnu,
ReplyDeleteI sent you an email about the San Telmo.
Thanks!
Oh my gosh! That horrible ebay seller Natedac is trying to sell the new chiffon rosette tee on ebay for $129! It's still in stock on J. Crew for $48. What an idiot! Of course, they have probably bought up half of the stock, so it will sell out.
ReplyDeleteNatedac is also attempting to fleece unsuspecting ebayers by asking $299 for the sparkle tweed aubrey - a jacket that last sold for $59.99 + 30% off on j.crew's website.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I wanted a TEE and contacted NateDac with a lower offer and they said "no can do". This was months ago
ReplyDeleteI might visit my B&M tomorrow...though the super bowl is going on here, I think it's far enough away so it won't be a hassle since I am 40 minutes away from International Plaza. They sent a 15% off coupon if you visit them B&M (I'm sure everyone got one?) this weekend. Just want to pick up a few basics for when our "winter" is over.
ReplyDeletewell, I'm returning the dover coat on Monday. I just called the only seamstress I trust and she broke her arm and decided to retire! I'm too afraid to take it to someone new and have them screw it up.
ReplyDeleteIt's a 12 Tall in Poppy going to King of Prussia on Mon...lemme know if someone wants it on hold. $139.99
Oh suilove, how I hate you... I was just browsing through the comments when I read yours about the black maggie and scared my poor dog half to death with my shriek. As much as I tried to tell myself that it must have sold in minutes, I still got my hopes up especially when I saw there WAS a P0 in stock... but it was bright berry. Well, my wallet thanks you :)
ReplyDeleteWow. Profanity at 11 am. Really ladies, is that anyway to start a Saturday morning? Shame on you!!!
ReplyDeletesomeone's selling a travel trench in size 2 on ebay. but they must not know what its called.
ReplyDeletetravel trench on ebay $45 ish dollars.
Can anyone comment on the color, Warm Blush? Is it more ivory, or more peachy, or more pink IRL?
ReplyDeleteI love pink and ivory, but I am not excited about the dusty rose color in the latest new arrivals, it reminds me of the 80's when it was a popular decorator color for curtains, blinds, tablecloths, paint, etc. Yuck.
I'm hoping Warm Blush might work for my skin tone.
TIA
I will be heading to the B&M today to return a couple of items. Cordova boots were shipped to me after I had canceled well in advance of the ship date and I also got a pair of whoosh-whoosh suiting pants that have to go back.
ReplyDeleteI'll be going to Lenox Square and will report back.
I saw the warm blush Michelle cardigan last weekend at a b&m. It sis the same color (maybe slightly lighter) than the light pink color J. Crew calls "shell" (at least for the tissue and perfect-fit tees). Very pretty. Definitely more pink than ivory. Not peachy.
ReplyDeleteHey ladies! Sorry a bit OT, but I thought this might help some people out who have had issues getting their student/educator discount applied to their FS orders. I emailed both the erica@jcrew.com email as well as contactus@jcrew.com regarding getting the discount placed on 4 orders. I received an email back from a personal shopper from the erica@jcrew address and he said it couldn't be done because of the FS code. I later received a response from the contactus email, in which TWO different support people said it could absolutely be applied, and that they would do so immediately! I already received a reimbursement for 3 of them, the fourth is still processing! So skip going to your PS and just email the contactus address instead, since it seems like they are the only ones willing to help as far as the discount goes! Good Luck! HTH
ReplyDeleteSheri Marie - I'm sure the PS lose some kind of commission or something if they do it, thats most likely the reason why most have us have gotten the "I'm sorry, one code per order... would you like to place and order?". They probably bend the truth so they don't get dinged... figures.... Thanks for the advice! hope it works!
ReplyDeleteI just saw the double serge pencil skirt in size 8 in brilliant blue on ebay for a BIN price of $90! Good luck!
ReplyDeletehttp://cgi.ebay.com/NWT-J-Crew-Double-Serge-Skirt-Brilliant-Blue-Size-8_W0QQitemZ270336568335QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_CSA_WC_Skirts?hash=item270336568335&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C66%3A4%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A0%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A200
Thanks Warm Blush! You're a big help.
ReplyDeleteI have a question for the JCAs who have the Astrid boucle jacket. How do you store your flower pin? I don't want to leave mine on the jacket because it could get crushed in the closet and also start to droop. I'd love to hear ideas on how you are storing your pins.
ReplyDeleteTIA
D'oh. Figures that the pair of shoes I was stalking shows up in my size the day after the sale is over. Dangnabit...I'm not sure I like them $140 like them.
ReplyDeleteI like the new dusty rose! In fact I just ordered the super 120s pencil in tea rose on the last day of EXTRA30. Maybe its a 'small doses' colour...
ReplyDeleteI'll let you know!
Jacquelyn: Thanks for the update on 12670. That was one of the few items I had earmarked for checking out IRL and it's disappointing to hear about the condition of the tees while new. :(
ReplyDeleteI was at the Dadeland Mall store in Miami last night, and they had a bunch of the Double Serge Pencil Skirts in Black. They had 4-5 in size 6 and 1 in size 0. I wish they had my size! They were 49.99 plus 50% off. They also had a few black Francie skirts (mostly 6s) for 59.99 and a few black and gold Metallic Flocked Skirts for 29.99 (varying sizes). Those skirts also get the 50% off. They didn't have any skirts in sizes 2 or 4 though. If you are a size 6, I think all three skirts are avaiable in your size! They also had a few tie-neck black sweaters in XL.
ReplyDeleteIf you are interested in the double serge in size 6, I would call.
I am dying to find the Zoey in Blue Jasmine size 0/2. Anybody willing to sell? I might just do the orange as well.
ReplyDeleteAnon,
ReplyDeleteSorry I sold my blue jasmine zoey but to tell you the truth the nectar really isn't that bad of a color.
Georgia Girl--I'm looking forward to hearing about the stock at Lenox Square. I'm also in Atlanta, but I hate the mall so my trips there are sparse. I will definitely go up if there's something good, though! :)
ReplyDeleteI should be receiving my Super 120s Blair dress in Dark Poppy on Monday (it actually shipped!) Yay!
My SA said today is the last day of 50% red line sale items. They are all going to the warehouse on Monday.
ReplyDeletenojcrewinjapan: the slim jeans are online now in a 28...i am assuming you were talking about the ones that were $99? good luck!
ReplyDeleteJust an fyi about the V-neck short-sleeve cardigan, item 10510:
ReplyDeleteIt is the same exact weave, thinness and trim as the Tartines minus the ruffle. (Tartine is 100% merino wool & V-neck is 100% cotton). Also, the Jasmine color is 99.9% an exact match to the Perfect-fit short sleeve T in Shell(?) from this past summer 2008.
Penelope mary janes just showed up in my size. It's digusting how many more things are available now than were during the 30% off but I don't care; I bought the shoes anyway. For $69.99... I think they are worth it! They aren't Penelope peep toes but they are almost as good!
ReplyDeleteOT but anyone looking for Alessia ballet flats in ivory size 9? I have a pair that I am unable to jam my feet into... They are NIB. I couldn't resist them in the 50% off section at my B&M, but they really just don't fit me. $50 shipped.

Annette:
ReplyDeleteThe super 120s Blair dress in dark peony is so amazing! I bought it on the weekly exchange and I just love it. I am so sick of my boring black, navy, and gray suits so this will be a nice change! It's just gorgeous and looks quite nice with the wide patent belt in black around the waist. I hope you love yours as much as I do.
Lindsay, I live in Andover (near Allamuchy)-- but I work in Jersey City and my hubby works in the city, so I have a LOT of options as far as B&Ms..... Went and picked up the butterscotch victoria cami.... LOVE IT... The color is like deep sand..... Chester is great because the girls that work there are awesome and VERY helpful.....FYI-- Jess told me that all sales items NOT sold this weekend are going back to the wearhouse.....
ReplyDeleteOT, but Talbots is having a great sale. 50% off second sale items and another 20% off the final price. Their ballet flats are great and now priced at about $35-40.
ReplyDeleteCall the orders in to get the %off deal.
Anon 12:40, I have a few flower pins and many delicate accessories. I use sky-rail to store my accessories, except for the high-end purses that come with boxes and all my shoes/boots, which I always keep in the original boxes. I stuff any wadded paper or forms back into the purses/shoes/boots and put them in the original box, which is stored in my shoe closet.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, for accessories the sky-rail system is great because you can get different sizes, you can see the contents and you can take out one without touching any of the other containers, which is a timesaver when you're in a rush getting ready to go out and don't want to come home to a mess of boxes on the floor.
You can check them out at www.skyrail.com
HTH
The Lenox Square J.Crew is really picked over in the sale section and it's not worth the trip unless you are looking for spring merch.
ReplyDeleteThere were some HH Flare jeans, a few of the metallic belts, mostly in the green color, a few cashmere (I think) sweaters and some of what looked like the favorite-fit tees.
That was what I could see as I passed by. I honestly didn't have time to look as I got a call in the middle of processing my return, one of my staff was dealing with a major issue so I had to come home right away and manage the situation.
Annette, I am in Buckhead so I always go to Lenox as it is most convenient. Which is your favorite J.Crew location?
Some things have been added online! Unfortunately, the prices are the same, and no 30% off!
ReplyDeleteGeorgia Girl: I am near Decatur, so Lenox Square is also the closest to me (but a bit of a hike with Buckhead traffic!) Thanks for the report--I'm a grad student so 90% of my J. Crew purchases are from the sale rack!
ReplyDeleteEm: Thanks for the info on the Blair! I couldn't pass it up at $56! I don't have a lot of business clothes now, but I'm going to be looking for a job in about a year, so I figure it's a good time to start looking for some items on sale!
ReplyDeletePaper Bag Princess - I have the feeling you are pretty young. Too young to have experienced (or remember) dusty rose the last time around. It was everywhere and I mean everywhere. Dusty rose and hunter green decor in a lot of restaurants and homes. Oh, and I can't forget the brass accents that were also part of "the look". I'm sure it is lovely on you, but I would break out in hives if I had to wear anything dusty rose. I would have thought they would at least come up with a new name for the shade.
ReplyDeleteThe site is updated with sale items, but a lot of them are coming up as sold out on the click-through. New stuff isn't thrilling me either, when's the next rollout anyway?
ReplyDeleteJust as well I'm not buying more today. My husband is on the phone right now, b*tching to one of his friends that I bought two pairs of shoes and a pair of boots for about $1500 earlier today. It's my own money so why he has a fit over it is beyond me. It's not like he didn't know I was a clothes horse and shoe freak before he married me. Suck it up princess. At least one pair was on sale. :P
Anon @ 3:42 - LOL. I lived through those times with you. I would dry heave if I had to wear that rose-hunter green combination now too. I would feel like a Laura Ashley chintz upholstered side chair or throw pillow. Remember those full-skirted dresses with big rose prints in that color combo? Gag.
ReplyDelete^ Oh yes, I remember those skirts. And some blouses like that too. Those colors were just soooo unflattering. My aunt had the chintz upholstery of which you speak, on a super-size sofa with the skirting on the bottom. It was hideous. I see it whenever we break out the old photo albums.
ReplyDeleteShoe Freak - ummm, wow! Some discord in your house today, huh? Perhaps it is time for a martini with your gal pals.
ReplyDeleteAnon, my friend returned Blue Jasmine tank, sz 0 to Pentagon Mall 2 days ago. You might want to check there.
ReplyDeleteAh yes, dusty rose and hunter green and don't forget to add a little burgundy here and there as an accent color! LOL
ReplyDeleteanon looking for boy's and girls coats- call the Mayfair Mall store in WI 414-302-0800. I am not sure they have these... but I think that they had a few boys toggle coats. It is worth a try.

ReplyDeleteWhat color matchstick are you selling? What is the inseam? TIA
-Love the Matchstick
Has anyone seen the Clara chiffon cardi in S, any color but navy, in their store? I just tried mine on and love it, and would love to buy another. TIA
ReplyDeleteMy Dallas area stores haven't been worth the trip lately.
I really don't like 'dusty rose' either...lol My mothers living room had dusty rose walls, hunter green carpet and brass details everywhere! lol
ReplyDeleteAnon 4:05 - A martini is definitely in order. We are headed out to meet friends for drinks and dinner tonight. I am going to wear the killer boots I bought today and show them off. I know by the end of the night DH will be asking me to keep them on while I walk all over him. LOL. He talks tough but he is such a sucker for me.
ReplyDeletegwen - did your mom have the brass tables with glass tops too? My mom had a similar living room only the rug was dusty rose and the walls were hunter green. brass and glass coffee/end tables and a large brass elephant in the corner. OMG how horrid the style was back then.
ReplyDeleteAre there any FREE SHIPPING codes right now? Of course they re-loaded the site after the 30% and I cannot stop the madness!

Hello everyone!
ReplyDeleteI am sorry if this news has already been reported...
For the Westport and New Canaan, CT stores
Good news: they are offering 50% off women sale items
Bad News: There are not that many sale items left. Most of it has been either sold or shipped back. There are absolutely no coats in either stores. However, the Westport,CT store had some shoes out for sale (a few boots in size 8 for example)
OT Ladies: I have a Velvet Ecole jacket in navy size 6 for sale --$45 shipped. It's too small for me and there is no size 8 available online anymore. If you are interested, please send me an email at cliou1 AT verizon DOT net.

The dusty rose is not great in person. I agree with everyone on that color. Even my husband who has no opinion on anything turned his nose up at that color in the store today. I tried on the knit dress in the rose and the gray. He hated both colors. Loved the dress but not the colors. I left without it. He had a point.
ReplyDeleteThe South Coast store had a lot of $19.99 + 30% beaded cover-ups in all sizes but XS. Great deal. They also had $15 crew neck tees and $24 painter tees.
Honestly the only thing I really loved was the women's men style button down shirts. Really beautiful. I am going to be watching those. The rosette fit beautifully but it was fuzzy. I could see my kids trying to pet it all the time. Not what I am going for. It is a beautiful shirt. The black and cream pullover top is gorgeous.
I saw the cantelope color and its much brighter than on line. I bought a painter tee in that color.
In general I was not over the moon with the collection but there are a few pieces worth watching.
I just got back from the U Village store and there was hardly anything left. Lots of new spring stuff out though. I tried on a few knit tops and everything ran pretty large. I wish they had a petite section. I'm holding off till later roll outs.
ReplyDeletePaper Bag Princess - LOL. You'll look great. Just don't get anywhere near hunter green when you're wearing your dusty rose. . . .
ReplyDeleteI just called King of Prussia regarding Juliet pumps. They said they sold out of them yesterday. Darn. :(
ReplyDeleteMatchstick Jeans are size 27R (they are stretchy) and inseam is 7.5". I love them and just got them in a 26. Let me know if you're interested. I can get them out to you on Monday. Might put on ebay next week.
ReplyDeleteSlastena - thanks for the heads up on the zoey. I'll call now!
Paper Bag Princess, five 5s to you!
ReplyDeleteI have a dusty rose cami that I really like, yes, really like (!!) which I usually wear with my white pants. I want to get a cardigan that would match with the dusty rose color.
What do you think of beechwood, putty or warm blush?
soon to be phd and math teacher - thanks so much for the info and help with the sizing too!
ReplyDeleteslastena - where is pentagon mall? i looked up wash dc area but didn't see it on JC website.
ReplyDeleteGot back from the local B&M (Carmel CA). The shop offers 30% and 50% additional off. Sales section was picked over, but I scored Solid Kya cami in shell for $30, V-neck short-sleeve cardigan for $25, and zebra hinged bangle for $13.
ReplyDeleteSolid Kya cami (colors: shell, pink, beige, in several sizes: 0, 2, 4, 6, 8) $59.99
Palace floral Kya cami (only two remain, don’t remember size) $69.99
Coralie suede flats (flats similar to Coralie suede heels. colors: soft graphite, light eucalyptus, brown, 10 pairs in several sizes) $79.99
Also, spring pencil skirts (Abstract lattice pencil skirt, Stretch sateen pencil skirt, etc) were promotion price $69.5.
Did someone say that the new spring colors of the painters tees are $24?
ReplyDeleteJust got home from the South Coast store (Costa Mesa, CA) and they had several of both the navy and dune travel trenches for those looking. Keegans in white were nearly gone at both stores I went to today, so that seems to be pretty popular!
ReplyDeleteIf anyone likes the ingrid peeptoe heels, they were marked $99.99 in store, and then an extra 30% off. MUCH better price than online. They were pretty comfy for JC shoes but the strap was too short for me so I had to pass. Very cute IRL.
I just wanted to share my awesome find of the day. I purchased this bracelet at Target on clearance for $2.24. It looks very similar to this bracelet at J.Crew. I purchased 2 of them to layer together and it still came out under $5. Can't beat that!!
ReplyDeleteAnon @ 8:13 -
ReplyDeleteThe juliet pumps I listed are actually called Claudia crackle-metallic pumps. They are very similar in style to the juliet but with metallic leather. I went to kop this afternoon and there were quite a few left in pewter, sherbet and gold.
Sorry, here's the link to the Pearl-cluster bracelet again.
ReplyDeleteoly: There's a clara cardigan, S, on ebay now for $29.99 - and it's the LIGHT PEWTER!!
ReplyDeleteAlexis: I also shop at the Westport, CT store. Some postings have mentioned spring sales such as the abstract lattice pencil skirt for $69.50 in their stores. Did you notice a similar sale in the CT stores? Catherine
ReplyDeleteWent to my B&M today and liked a lot of the spring arrivals, especially the Saturday pant and the Cocktail capri. I was able to leave everything behind...except for a slub silk tunic in the pink/green paisley trimmed in ivory that I loved. I took some (not so perfect) pics and put them on my blog if anyone is interested in this piece!
ReplyDeleteAnon at 11:14 PM: There were lots of new arrivals at the Westport, CT store (all on the first floor). I did see lots of new Annie Cami's and Ringspun cotton rosette tees at the store. They also had the Ingrid fabric peep toes (item 10432) on sale (with an additional 50% off). :)
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I do not remember seeing the abstract lattice pencil skirt.
I am sure if you call (203 226 2739), they could tell you if they have the skirt. :) Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
^Alexis, thanks for the help! You take very good mental inventory of the store! Catherine
ReplyDeleteI'm looking for the Spectator Mary Jane peep-toe heels in Dusty Rose - sz 8 1/2. Any suggestions?
ReplyDeleteFYI- I called King of Prussia last night at 0930pm and they said they had only 3 pairs of size 10 shoes left. (I was looking for me, but nothing interested me)

Peep toe fluer flats in bright blue
Alessa pumps in rose
HTH someone!
I like the Cocktail Capri, did anyone try it on yet? any thoughts?
ReplyDeleteCASUAL CREW - I love the cocktail capri, they are a really great pant. A little heavier material so they hang very nicely. I needed to size down one size. I am 5'7 and went from a 4 to a 2 and they were still not super short. The only thing to consider, the leg opening is pretty small which can sometimes be unflattering. I tend to be more on the curvy side and I think it can emphasis hips sometimes, but it was not bad on these pants. I LOVE the dark charcoal. HTH
ReplyDeletelcmsmom: Thanks for your input, I have curves so the leg opening is something I have to keep in mind.
ReplyDeletelcsmom thank you I was wondering about those too, I love the look of them online.
ReplyDeleteDo their seem to be a lot of the chiffon rosette tees in the stores?
ReplyDeleteI love it, but want to try it on before I buy it, & am worried it will sell out before I get the chance to get to the store next weekend.
Does anyone else have this tee? What do you think of it? It looks so pretty & Spring-y!
Anon, I wrote about my initial impressions (not that great) and why I ended up purchasing the chiffon rosette tee yesterday:

In the ~30 minutes I was in the store on Saturday they sold out of all the pink (shell?) color - but I'm sure they're still around since lots of the country is still freezing cold compared to California! I'll upload a pic IRL soon, but it's kinda blurry since I was snapping with my cell in a rush!
hope this helps!
Anon re; Zoey and Pentagn Mall. Sorry, it's in VA .Info here:

Sorry for the delay!
I called KOP, they shipped everything back and there is no more 50% off-ended yesterday. Too bad!
ReplyDeletedid anyone mention there's 30% off spring items in store? there is no promotion whatsoever here... :(
ReplyDeleteYes, yesterday at Stonestown San Francisco, they were packing up all sale merchandise, presumably to send it somewhere. So I guess eventually the online sale section will be replenished....but with pretty picked over selections!
ReplyDeleteOly - there's a Clara in sz S in navy on ebay.
ReplyDeleteYesterday at the Brinton Lakes, PA store there was a Peacock skirt in sz 2 and a Double Serge pencil skirt in persimmon (can't remember what size, maybe 10 or 12?)
ION, does anyone know what will happen to the items that are sent back to the warehouse? I just called KOP (which I drove past yesterday and apparently should have gone to since there were reports of lots of shoes in giant sizes:)) and the SA said everything's gone back to the warehouse and not the outlet, and that the warehouse "will decide where to send the items next." Eh??
Anyone have any inside info on that? Still looking for Spectator pumps in graphite in a 10...

Paper Bag Princess, I would love to hear what you think of the dusty rose color. I imagine it would look good on those who are olive-skinned or have a tan, but not on someone pale. I'm curious what you think.
ReplyDeleteJust got back from the B&M and no more % off sale items (no 30 or 50%). They also sent back all the winter goods, so only newer spring stuff was left in the sale section (Kya, short sleeve cardi, etc).
ReplyDeletesuilove, I sent you an email about leopard cardi.
ReplyDeleteNo b/c my local store closed this week!! :( :(
ReplyDeleteI went back to the local B&M today to buy a rosette tee, and found no more 30% and 50% additional off sales. They sent winter items back.

ReplyDeletePerhaps it is all going to the clearance center in VA?
ReplyDeleteI was at the outlet store in Grapevine TX and they had a full rack of Sanur dresses for $49 plus 30%off. I don't know if they are any different than the dresses online (quality wise), but they have a paper tag pinned to them that says "the sanur dress, wear it 3 ways". They had black, dark gray, bright blue and a rosey red color.
ReplyDeleteI bought one, but I think its going back. I'm pretty busty and it makes me look like a human sausage when I wear it as a tube dress.
I'm kind of glad they sent all the winter stuff back, I'm ready to move towards spring. :) And all the winter stuff were in the less versatile colors. I feel like it's been picked over for a long time.
