Madewell Email: Denim After Dark: Holiday Edition (+ 20% off jeans)

"Thanks!" to Marietta who shared the email Madewell sent yesterday.

Madewell stores across the country are celebrating their Holiday Denim Drive with a special kick-off Denim after Dark event on Thursday, November 12, 2009.

Some benefit events include:
  • 20% off all jeans
  • Festive sweets and treats
  • Great tunes
  • Plus! Drop off your old jeans and they'll donate them to a charity. In return, you'll get a special discount off your first pair of Madewell denim in the new year
Will you be attending one of these Denim after Dark events on November 12th? If so, please share. :)

  1. I'm planning on it. I've been wanting to try the jeans. If they fit and with 20% - now seems like the time.

  2. You know, Madewell doesn't do it for me. It just seems SO overpriced for what it is. At least at JC the clothes seem special. But maybe Madewell just isn't my thing. BUT I would totally go if the 20% were valid on those luscious riding boots they have....

  3. Off topic but interesting -- I ordered the Cotton Checked Navy shirt earlier this week for $64. & perusing the page today... it's $69.50. What's up with that?

  4. OT-new CC email & catalog preview online. there are such sweet things for the girls and boys. I do love how they just miniaturize their grownup offerings, it's really refreshing in the world of kids clothes.
Alexis, i forwarded you the email since I'm not sure you get those ;)

  5. Ya know, I was in Madewell a few weeks ago and tried on a few pairs of jeans. None of them seemed to fit correctly, i.e. tight in thigh but huge in the waist etc. The fabric felt cheap to me for the price & honestly I am more impressed with Gap's "always skinny" jean. Just my two cents.

(Though I have a pair of their boots and they are awesome!)
