J.Crew Updates Website With New Arrivals Today!

"Thanks!" to many of you, including Heidi, Wendy & Genny (in this post), Professor (in this post), Christy (in this post), as well as Angela, who let us know that J.Crew updated its website (click here).

There are some new HOLIDAY arrivals for men (click here) & women (click here). However, the J.Crew Collection (click here) looks to be about the same.

J.Crew has also provided the latest catalog online (click here to view). :)

It is another destination catalog! Similar to the recent Crewcuts catalog, the Men's & Women's catalog is shot in Chile (South America). Fantastic! {Destination catalogs tend to be my favorite.}

After looking through the catalog, I have to say the pictures themselves are absolutely beautiful. As for the styling, it's all a bit too much when it comes to layering different pieces. Refer to pages 7 and 30 (are those fur-cuffs?) as some examples. Apparently, trouser leg jeans & pants are out too. All I see are toothpick jeans, as well as mini skirts & shorts (because those last two make perfect sense for the snowy winter time).

After looking through the new arrivals, I see lots of items that I am loving! I like the Stripe Asymmetrical Chiffon Bow Pullover (Item 20797; $88.00) as well as the Merino Rose Corsage Scoopneck Sweater (Item 20309; $79.50). Both are cute pieces that I would definitely add to my wardrobe. The super girly side of me loves the Starlight Glitter Ballet Flats (Item 21411; $125.00) too! I saw these in-person and the different size glitter and metallic confetti are absolutely beautiful!

There are also some pieces I am way less excited about. Not feeling the Chiffon Petal Vest (Item 20580; $495.00), in particular. Maybe they are just styling it weird. Although, I do like the tank version of this design (refer to this post and seen in a real-life image here). I am also a bit disappointed about the coat selection. There are some lovely coats being offered, but none that I am loving (like the Bella). This is actually a good thing for my wallet though. :)

Lastly, there are some items I am surprised to see. For example, the Hostess Coasters (Item 20911; $24.50). I am not sure how this ties in with the rest of their product offerings since it is clearly a "home" item. And I cannot forget the J.Crew Scented Candle (item 24962; $28.00)! When did J.Crew become Pottery Barn? {I have a sneaky suspicion that when these items go on major sale I will be the first to buy them! ;) Seriously though, if J.Crew does a home collection now, I would be so all over it!}

Also, "thanks!" to Marietta who let us know about the email J.Crew sent this morning announcing the new arrivals as well as the offer for free shipping on orders of $150+ with promo code 150SHIP. This offer expires 11/15/09.

What items are you most excited about and why? Which items are you surprised (or not surprised) to see? Which items did you hope would be included? Were you expecting a bigger roll-out today? Also, did you receive the latest catalog? :)

  1. hmm... there are a few items I like, but nothing I love/want/need. I do really like the shape of the Sylvia suede pumps.

Too many ruffles. Several items look ill-fitting. I am oddly attracted to the reindeer tee. :P

  2. I like the Mens section of the catalog much better than the womens. There is a couple of tempting items but I am holding off and trying to fill the holes in my wardrobe elsewhere. Off to the BR and Gap sale today.

    ReplyDelete
  3. LOL, I blew past the first page to check the sale section for updates that I missed the new stuff. I managed to score the wool herringbone bucket hat in copper though- yay! I wanted to order the Pilar dress, but I can't tell what color shadow is supposed to be- is it a blue? a gray? Grr...

Look like I'm off to a store after work today to pick up a new catalog since mine won't come until late next week.

  4. I see quite a few things I like...the Cashmere Sweater Dress, the Cotton Check Shirt, the Tattered Silk Cotton Tank, the Midnight Iced Houndstooth Coat...I could go on. Also loving the Wool Bungalow Skirt in garnet! What a lovely red. Thanks Alexis et al for the heads up. I think my wallet may be in trouble.

  5. I see more ruffled tops and too short skirts. Yet again, there are no stunning coats or jackets.

I might buy the slate checked shirt and one of the ruffled merino sweaters, but everything else is a pass for me.

    Yawn...

  6. They've added new items to the sales site.

    ReplyDelete
  7. I HAD to order the reindeer shirt in Hazelnut .... very different! (taking advantage of my free shipping.... I hate it when JC wins!)
Thanks for the heads up on new arrivals!!

    ReplyDelete
  8. Whoaaaa ... mainly they added a few bags including the Campo but not much else. Sorry.

    ReplyDelete
  9. OT, but AT has their cashmere sweaters on sale for 30% off andd the ITALY39 code is still good. I ordered the v-necks and thought they were awful (they ran huge and long and they were not fully fasioned around the shoulders). However, the cardigans are amazing! I ordered the scarlett and the cashmere is weighty and rich and the buttons and ruffle detail are very nice. This morning, I ordered the shoreline (aqua) and parfait (orangy pink). They came out to $83.30 + tax which is an amazing price for the quality.

  10. More items added to sale. Did Jcrew always offer all those colors in the Frances cami? I don't remember seeing them.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I took advantage of the sale offerings also. Ordered the Cashmere Fiori dress (Collection). I've been stalking that one and the sale price is hard to beat. It won't be there long.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I hear you casual-crew. I purchased a mens sweater last week, the varsity stripe sweater, and checked out the men's new arrivals this a.m.

    ReplyDelete
  13. i actually like the new sequined ruffle tank----and the chiffon ruffle cardigan and the reindeer tee, how cute!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  14. Great price on the Chimera jacket $99 down from around $250!

The cashmere dress is nice but I liked the style from last year much better and the color choices of only black and gray are not too exciting. Remember when the cashmere sweater dresses came in a rainbow of colors. Glad I bought several in those colorful days:)

    ReplyDelete
  15. I like a lot of the new offerings! Loving the fairisle sweaters and *maybe* the cashmere henley ruffly sweater. The new bib necklace is nice too.

I would love a 20-30% off code soon.

OT - Received the Annalise tank yesterday in the purple color and it is so very gorgeous. The ruffling is perfect, not too overdone.

  16. Mags, that is the one items I want, but I need the basic ivory. How is the fit? Does it run TTS?

    ReplyDelete
  17. I am loving those winter shots in the new catalog! Even if the models are dressed a little peculiar, the scenes are still pretty. There were only maybe one or two things I saw that I really wanted from this rollout - though it was exciting to see more than just a paltry few items in the new arrivals section this time. The big thing for me is seeing many of the same styles in new colors -- that Moroccan Blue in the Frances Cami is to die for!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Has anyone bought the wool duffle coat? I am wondering how it fits and how long it is on a normal person! :) I didn't think it came w/thinsulate, but I just read the description again and it looks like all of them come with the thinsulate lining.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I really like the catalog. I always enjoy the holiday photo shoot and think this one was really good.

Also, the layering looks a little (ok, make that a lot) less odd when it is freezing outside vs. when a model is indoors and looks likes she should be dressed up for a cocktail party.

I do like the boulevard coat and the Friday in the catalog. I was thinking the light gray wasn't such a pretty shade until I saw it layered with other colors. I really am not planning on wearing it over a silk dress, but it would probably look smashing over a bright green or aqua sweater with jeans or a black mini and tights.

This is the first time this season that their photos have actaully made me want something that didn't interest me by itself.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Yay for new arrivals! I love all the new tees...very cute. :)

    ReplyDelete
  21. This is going to sound boring, but I'm really excited about the bling button cardigan. I've been looking for cardigans in nice colors, but I didn't want one with ruffles, chiffon, appliqued flowers, etc. The bling button cardigan fits the bill and at $68, it's not unreasonable.

The questionable item for me is the cut-off denim shorts for $79.50. Really? $80 for cut-offs that I can't wear in the winter anyway? I also noticed that they added many capri pants. I don't know about you all, but it gets really cold where I live. When it's 12 degrees outside, I'm not thinking of wearing capris.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I am also loving the asymmetrical chiffon bow sweater and then ruffle tissue tee with sequins! I think that one will be a great holiday top for parties and I'm glad it comes in xxsmall b/c the tissue tees always run a little big in my opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I just scored the silk Frances cami in cinnamon spice (the orange/rust color) in a petite! This isn't a new item; it's on the sale page, but I was so excited I had to share. When I looked yesterday, this color wasn't there. Now it's there and in petite. I had to get it.

    ReplyDelete
  24. just placed an order for some of the tees. looking forward to seeing the reindeer IRL ;)

on another note, i received the midnight gala jacket yesterday and am slightly disappointed! did anyone else get this item? i'll try to post IRL pics and review on my blog tonight.

  25. The wool tuxedo vest looks really interesting - could be a good dress up or down piece. Looks like it will be in the store to check out.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Will need to stop and pick up the catalog but liking what I see. There are still some styling laughs such as page 95.

I am liking the Cashmere Ruffled Rose cardigan and the Midnight Iced Houndstooth coat. I wish the coat was featured in the catalog for better viewing. As always, I'm attracted to the Jewel Box Suede flats so I have to keep reminding myself.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Also, I noticed some shirts that are not listed in new arrivals but are on the webite - if they were styled under a jacket or sweater they are mentioned on the details page of that sweater or jacket.

One item is a silk pocket tee - finally, something for layering that isn't sleeveless. I like that violet stone color alot too. Won't arrive for a few weeks.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Maya: I am also thinking about the duffle coat. If I order it I will let you know what I think when it arrives!

    ReplyDelete
  29. kitsmommy

I don't have the fairisle sweater, but if I do end up ordering it, I will let u know!

    ReplyDelete
  30. I am feeling all navy blue and debating between the Ruffled Rose Cardigan and the Crosby Coat (among other navy items including the Henley Sweater with the big buttons.

Has anyone ordered the Crosby Coat? What do you think?

    ReplyDelete
  31. I am loving:

    Sequin tuxedo cardigan
Sequined starland tank in navy black
    Ikat floral skirt

There are a few questionable items... too much ruffles/chiffon/big bows!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Mags, I meant the Annalise tank. Could you let me know about that?

    TIA

    ReplyDelete
  33. Laura: Hi Laura, I have the Crosby coat and I like it. I ordered my usual size in JCrew tops because I am not familiar with their coat sizing yet. I was afraid the shoulders would be boxy but it's a nice fit, soft wool & the lining has a cute trim. I'd recommend! I am 5'9 and it falls to midthigh I'd say.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I am oddly attracted to the reindeer tee too! But it made me wonder whether all these creature tees will be looked upon someday as our generation's version of the ubiquitous Christmas sweater.

So loving: the soleil paisley bandeau bathing suit (maybe my terra needs a sister :), the ombre horizon coat, the nonno cardigan.

Like the posy blouse, but wish it came in deeper hues - like blackberry.

    ReplyDelete
  35. The site was updated last night, but I'm on the west coast, so that may be why I saw it.
Summer, I so agree with you about the cashmere sweater dress...I would get it in multiple colors if they offered it. And I prefer it to be 3/4 sleeves, more wintry. I see a few cardigans I like a lot, but I need another cardi like a hole in the head. A word of warning about the "crushed glitter" stuff they are offering...anyone remember the Twinkle clutch from I think last holiday? It shed glitter EVERYWHERE. Maybe they improved it. My favorite holiday was the shoot in Scotland...2007 or 2008?

    ReplyDelete
  36. Sheil thank you so so much! I'm arguing with myself because I didn't win the lottery so having to choose. As much as I love the tweed jacket, it's pricey, not in stock and only the one photo. We know these coats could get marked back UP and I wouldn't buy it then. I just wish I had bought it when it was the additional 20% off but I didn't notice it until someone on this blog called it out...which is why J. Crew should be grateful to this blog and Alexis :)

    ReplyDelete
  37. I think this is one of the better rollouts although there are still many items that have me left wondering, "What were they thinking?"

    ReplyDelete
  38. Alexis,

I'm so with you on the candles & coasters. I love the idea of J. Crew moving into the "home accessories" realm and wouldn't be surprised if they did.

I like a few items but will wait awhile to purchase.
    No catalog yet.
    Like the destination of Chile!
I need to get serious regarding my Christmas Shopping List...

    ReplyDelete
  39. Laura: I just received the Crosby coat in navy, and I think I am going to return it. I like the coat; the wool/cashmere blend is soft, although not as thick as I thought, and the shape is pretty. I just think it's a little snug across the chest (I got my usual size). I can't wear more than a thin sweater with it. I got it with the 20% off, and I still thought it was too much to pay for it because I wouldn't be able to wear it all winter. It's a shame, because I love the style.

The stadium cloth boulevard trench, on the other hand, is wonderful. The fabric is thick and warm, and the shape is flattering. I can also wear a blazer underneath it. I think I will be keeping that one instead.

    HTH!

    ReplyDelete
  40. I like a lot of the new cardigans but have so many cardigans already that I need to wait for them to go on sale to justify buying. Also love the Sylvia mid-heels. I love having options other than flats or 4 inch heels--sooo much more versatile and comfy!!! Also like many of the new bracelets but will not pay ~$100 for a costume jewelry piece on principle so will also wait to get whatever is left on sale.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Lilac, would you have liked the Crosby more if you had gone up a size? The problem with the Stadium for me is the belt. I hate belted coats, it's just a drag keeping track of it and I don't think it flatters me as much. I was thinking of going up a size on the Crosby anyway just to get that looseish look - of course maybe with the cut it would just be medium fit after all.

    ReplyDelete
  42. How in the world is it possible that the Chiffon Ruffle Cardigan is COMPLETELY sold out in the shadow color and sold out in both the other colors except for sizes L and XL????? Anyone else notice this??

    ReplyDelete
  43. This is off the subject and don't know if anyone cares, but I got all excited this week while watching MTV's "The Hills" when Lo was wearing a pair of JC heirloom flora earrings in the color butterscotch and the prism bracelet (from Spring '09, I think). I've seen her wear a few JC items on the show. I know...I'm a crew-dork.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Lindsay B.
Agreed- I love the reindeer tee in Hazelnut also!
    Good purchase- enjoy!

    LaurenPHd-
I'm with you on the Bling Cardigan. Yey for basics & great colors!

Laura- I know! Alexis' Blog and all the smart girls chiming in make me take 2nd & 3rd looks at items and they've been my best purchases.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Laura: If I could get a size larger in the Crosby with the 20% discount, I would consider trying it but I still don't know that I would keep it. I am definitely not interested in it for $225, because 1) I do not think it will be warm enough for Northeast winters and 2) I think a larger size will be too loose in the body. The other thing I forgot to mention is that I had trouble keeping the collar down, or getting it to look like the pic online.

That said, if this coat went down to like $99 or maybe $129 I'd probably bite, but I'd get my regular size and just wear it when the weather permits.

Just my opinion :) I was looking for a warm coat that I could layer underneath without affecting the look too much. The style of the Crosby is so cute though ... I wish it worked out.

  46. Elizabeth,

    I'm joining your "Crew-Dork" Club.

The episode of "Brothers & Sisters" where Luke the Sexy French Guy moves into Nora's included little girl Page in the J. Crew Academy Coat I picked up for my nieces. Totally excited me.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Now the Chiffon Ruffle Cardigan is COMPLETELY sold out!!! Wow...

    ReplyDelete
  48. I LOVE most of the new items esp the sweaters! I saw some pieces at the Collection store in Madison Ave last night... like the chiffon petal vest! I do have to admit I somehow like the style even though don't really know how to wear it. Didn't try it on since they only have size S on the selling floor.

How weird... I saw the chiffon ruffle cardigan this morning on the website and almost ordered it in breeze color... then decided to remove it from my chart. I already have 2 tartine cardigan... don't really need another similar style ones. Could it be that J.Crew realize that they don't have the items in stock yet? It's not the most-wanted style (my opinion) and it can't be that it's already completely SOLDOUT in only a few hours in all colors??!!

Would really like to see the new items in the stores first before I decide whether or not I should get them... I did already order a few items to try on though! :)

    ReplyDelete
  49. Emily,

We are on the same page this morning! I was liking the glitter belt but then I thought it would just shed and be a mess with taking it on and off and I didn't want to deal with that issue.

I also liked one cardigan but I need another cardigan too--"like a hole in my head." So, I won't be getting it. Sometimes I need to practice self-control:) LOL:)

    ReplyDelete
  50. I'm anxious to receive the Holiday catolog with the lovely photographs from Chile -- looks like a fun one to curl up with after a long day at work. I'm pleased to see several new pieces that I really want:
    * Ikat silk streamers cami
    * Nonno shawl-collar cardigan
    * Dream rumpled ribbon cardigan *Stripe asymmetrical chiffon bow pullover (worried about the neckline on this one, but LOVE the overall style
    * Cashmere ruffled rose cardigan
    * Ikat floral skirt
    * Georgie tote(great for work!)
    * Shadow facet bracelet

It's great to be excited about the Crew again!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Hi gals - I started following this blog a couple of weeks ago and you all have had a good (but bad) effect on me! I've been a long-time JC fan but haven't really purchased anything from them since their herringbone wool blazers with the silk collars from 2-3(?) seasons ago. But recently between the blog chatter about new releases and free shipping coupons, I've placed sizable four orders in two weeks. Bad wallet, good me. I don't know any of you, but I kind of feel like I'm starting to, thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  52. I am loving the Ikat skirt and the corsage cardi and scoopnecks. And, I completely LOVE the parlour handbag collection.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I'm really liking this new roll out but now just need 20% everything not just sale...

    ReplyDelete
  54. I'm not good at keeping up on which of the new arrivals are in the newest batch, but I think the three that are grabbing me are all new-new: the Super 120s metro dress (LOVE the cowl neck over the V-neck... perfect for work), the perfect pintuck dress, and the wool bungalow skirt. Also I really like the wool twill blazer, but I don't know why they bother listing it under "suiting" when the only matching pants are cropped. Sorry, but my office mandates no capris, ever, no matter how dressy, so this means I can't wear that so-called suit. Besides, cropped pants look stupid on me.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Lilac I really appreciate your feedback, thanks and I understand Northweast winters, I was in Boston for a few years and just, wow, they have weather like no other. Truth is, I have more coats than I can wear but every once in a while I'm looking for a "look" and in my head, the navy Henley sweater, the navy and white check shirt, the new dark Vintage Slims and that navy Crosby looked to be a assortment I could work with.

I completely understand the "going up a size" and loosing the body shape, so that's something to think about...I have a Lady Day in Navy, but I'm not sure that's the right cut for what I was thinking of.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Just posted J. Crew styling tips on my blog, love them!

    http://pinklemonadedesign.blogspot.com/

    ReplyDelete
  57. the peppermint tweed coat is quite amazing. too bad it's $400

    ReplyDelete
  58. Laura: if you are concerned with aesthetics, I would totally get the Crosby. I think you would like the look; I thought it looked better in person than on the site. I like the items you have put together with it too ... sounds cute :)

    ReplyDelete
  59. Some cute stuff for sure, but nothing I'm dying for...yet. These things tend to sit in theback of my brain for a little while until I realize I can't live without *something*.

I do love the mini tweed Chanel-looking purse.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Thanks so much Lilac, I'm going to hold on the Vintage Slims until I see them. I wanted the darker wash but they may have gotten carried away with the whiskering, hard to tell.

My final debate is the Ruffled Rose Cardigan - to be or not to be?

    ReplyDelete
  61. Has anyone tried the Elan trousers?

    ReplyDelete
  62. Just look at the model on p.77. She is so thin, it's frightening.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Does anybody know if there will be flannel-lined chinos this year? I would have thought the would be out by now, considering it's already November. I have a couple pair from previous seasons, and every time I wear them I cannot get over how warm and snuggly they are!

    ReplyDelete
  64. OT, but does anyone know if the Heirloom Flora earrings in chocolate went on sale? I know the necklace did, and the earrings in butterscotch are still FP but the ones in chocolate are no longer available online and wasn't sure if they sold out because they were on sale or because of inventory. TIA!

    ReplyDelete
  65. Dashed to my B&M this morning to get a hard copy of the catalog. It is luscious; a cozy read. {My catalogs always come late.}

Picked up the tuxedo VEST: heaven, beautifully made, outstanding with dark wash denim pants or cords. Runs large, so I went down a size from my jacket size (from a 10 to an 8).

Also got the ivory white knit hat, the V neck cashmere (on sale for $99), and a creamy colored mohair sweater (always have the grey, so soft).

    ReplyDelete
  66. love2shop4bags: I was looking for the flora earrings in chocolate too. Last I saw they were backordered, but there were plenty in stock. I was going to order them, but when I looked again they were gone. I am considering a we will find it search.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Thanks Lilac! I'm glad I wasn't the only one wondering what happened. I think I will probably do a WWFI too!

    ReplyDelete
  68. FYI - 150SHIP did not work for me (and I have $500+ in my basket) - weird!

Promo code 150SHIP entered cannot be applied for this order. Please review the details of code 150SHIP.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Or maybe it did work - odd that I got the weird message even though it apparently worked!

    ReplyDelete
  70. Rats, the fringed Ellington skirt is already sold out...there goes that holiday look :-)

I love winter, I love snow, I love pretty clothes in snow. Can't wait to get the catalogue in person and peruse it over a cup of hediard madeleine tea.

    ReplyDelete
  71. It's just silly that items are sold out the very day they hit the website. How many did they make, like 10? Lame.

    ReplyDelete
  72. egyptomaniac,
I was wondering the same thing about the flannel lined chinos. I have bought a pair or two every year since 2002. I will miss this JC staple of many years if they have not made them this year:(

    ReplyDelete
  73. PS

I just thought I would check and see if they made men's flannel lined chinos. Yes, the guys have them; the ladies do not have any:( BIG Bummer. I think that answers are question, egyptomaniac.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Has anyone seen "crushed grape" in person? Is it almost blue, or is it recognizably purple? TIA.

    ReplyDelete
  75. La Belle Helene: Yes, it is definitely a recognizable purple. It is not like last year's majestic purple, which was a mix of blue and purple. This is a true purple - my B&M just got the silk pleated posy cami/tank (which is in the sale secton in barely peach, deep rose, and indigo and black in stores) in crushed grape. This color is not available online in this top, and I assume it won't be since the site was updated today and all colors of this top online are on sale. Perhaps your B&M (if you live near one) has this top and you can see the color in person. It is just gorgeous IRL...a very rich, saturate, and jewel toned purple. HTH!

    ReplyDelete
  76. love2shopforbags, merci beaucoup. That helped :-)
Hope to make it to the mall tomorrow to pick up the new catalog. I've given up trying to get them to send them to me.

    ReplyDelete
  77. egyptomaniac & Summer: I also loooove the flannel lined chinos. I have a pair that is too big (size 6, if anyone wants to buy them off me!) , so I was really hoping that j.crew would put them out again this year! I actually DID see some at the outlet store on Saturday, and they were 50% off. I held off because I was hoping to get a retail pair... bummer!

    ReplyDelete
  78. For people looking for things that seem to be sold out, you can try the "find it for you" service offered by J crew, if they still have it. I used it for a beach cover-up they had in spring 2008 that was sold out everywhere. I called them and they said they'd do there best. You give them your size (you can say multiple sizes and give your first choice), and credit card order. They'll email and ship it if they find it. But you can't back out, if they find it, you have to agree to pay for it, that's why they take your credit card info. It's a cool service, took a few weeks though.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Does anyone know whether the stardust pencil skirt (in copper) ever came in sizes larger than an 8 or 10?

    ReplyDelete
  80. La Belle Helene - I have to agree with love2shopfor bags about the color crushed grape. It is a beautiful purple! I was not interested in the top she mentioned until I saw it in the new color. My ps asked me to try it on and it came home with me! :D I highly recommend it.

As for the new items, there are some that I'm interested in seeing IRL, but overall I'm more interested in ATL's newest roll out, plus the prices are a little more reasonable.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Rae: Yes, they did. Those skirts sold out very fast.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Marietta - I loved the starland tank, too - but lookout! If you read the fine print it's "spot clean only". Not even hand wash! Dang!

    ReplyDelete
  83. OT: FYI: got a defective sweater today from the new arrivals (not the ones that came out today but the ones prior to... I was so disappointed in it. The material had flaws in 3 places. JCrew really needs to up its quality control. Riculous to have sent out a brand new sweater in this condition!

    ReplyDelete
  84. Does anyone have or tried on the Short Templeton boots? What do you think of them? I have skinny legs and worry they will be too big around the shaft and look lumpy under pants (I have this problem with almost every boot, which is why I own 0!), any opinions on this?

Sorry for the many questions but they are a bit pricey!

    ReplyDelete
  85. Re: the Annalise cami that kitsmommy was asking about

The crushed grape color, as others have also mentioned, is so so gorgeous. Deep perfect purple for fall & winter.

This runs TTS or slightly large, like the classic fit style in other tops. No worries about your bra peeking out either, YEAH! The armholes are just right. Not a boob-smoosher for those with that issue (me included LOL).

The ruffling on the front is very pretty and is small enough in the back to wear a sweater over it without it looking weird IMO.

    HTH!

  86. I received a defective marzipan sweater. I purchased the light berry and aubergine and they have been worn multiple times and are fine. I purchased the black, and wore it to out shopping. I lost 2 buttons between home and the grocery (5 minutes tops). By the time I was checking out one cuff had partially unraveled. I am taking it back tomorrow.

Thanks Mags for the review. I really like this top.

  87. Sorry to corduroy and kitsmommy about the defective merch. I'm feeling your pain! I handwashed my Marrakesh top after two brief wears and the hem is 1/4 unstitched. Boo for the low quality.
