I will not buy final sale. If that goes away, there are a few things I'd try.
ReplyDeleteHi Desert Flower, not a fan of final sale either. But I just placed an order when a couple of items popped back in my size & there was no final sale when I checked out. May be worth a mock checkout to see what happens.
ReplyDeleteThe collection Elsie pumps in snake print popped back up in my size last night (yay!), but they were not marked FS when I checked out. There is very little chance I will want to return them, but it's still nice to know that I have the option.
ReplyDeleteI've been stalking those too but haven't seen any in my size. They're gorgeous!
DeleteDo they ever apply the discount to Collection items? I am stalking a Collection shirt but it's $198.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone have the J. Crew leather Chelsea boots( #E0824)? I think I really like these but I am wondering how they've held up for others. There is only one online review (says they run small, but in my regular size they seem a bit big if anything; also that they are tight in the ankle, which I didn't notice).
ReplyDeletecate, I have last year's version of these boots which had rave reviews (this year's look cheaper somehow...) and I adore them. The item number on them is B1002. I originally tried a half size up than my usual crew size and ended up going back to my regular size. I don't have narrow feet by any means and they were not tight. I water/snow proofed them and wore them all fall/winter and couldn't get enough of them. This year's version looks shorter both in the height of the boot and the length if you compare the photos. If you can track last year's down on ebay or popback I definitely recommend them. why did they have to mess with a good thing??
DeleteThanks so much! I have never tried them on before so I never knew last year's style. I hope they didn't change them too much. This pair feels great on my feet and i think it looks pretty good too (black ones), so I should probably just keep them, especially for the price (I got them on sale for $90-something, why are they $238-25% now?!). Looking at the B1002 pair, the brown pair has a brown stretch panel, whereas this year's has a black stretch panel on the brown boots. J. Crew always likes to change things. Thanks again!
