  1. As I was organizing my fall clothing, I was loving all my older JCrew items: the 100% wool pencil skirts in glorious colours, the cashmere sweaters in a rainbow of rich colours, the silk blouses and the fabulous patterned cafe Capri pants. While there isn't much for me to love this year, I still have many favourite pieces that I expect to enjoy wearing for some time to come,

  2. I'm really happy with recent J Crew purchases and those made over the summer. I've found many great pieces to fill in gaps in my wardrobe. I'm really pleased with the cashmere pieces I've found, including cardigans, tees and vnecks. The collection pieces have also been a nice addition to my wardrobe, including a recent "score of the" perforated navy shell for < $40. I picked up the satin Mary Janes Eva Chen was wearing and they're super cute; this is one of my few full price purchases from J Crew, but they're worth it. I'm also loving no final sale on purchases I made today despite what the website states. I was able to order the strappy chambray midi dress, tassel sandals in black (have in the saddle color & they're wonderful), the banago mayumi clutch & merino wool leather sweatshirt in navy on popback. Thanks to the JCA's who mentioned the "glitch" in the system that was allowing excluded items to accept the promo; early in the am I was able to order the gold salt New Balances @ 25% off. I've discovered that if I'm patient and selective, I can find really fashionable pieces from J Crew that are cost-effective, stylish & nice quality. Yes, J Crew has its challenges, but there's still lots to choose from that matches my style & willingness to pay.

  3. I'm very happy with my drapey silk V-neck top. I was fortunate enough to find a pop-back in the amazing bronzed brown, and I liked it enough to order another in black even though it wasn't on the promo!
