"Thanks!" to JenLynn (in this post), who shared the following news.The latest J.Crew catalog sent to customers may have a unique promotional code (for something like 20% off on any order, free shipping with no minimum, or $20 off a certain amount). The offer expires March 13, 2011.
On a related note, I got the new catalog sent to me yesterday. I was so surprised that I got it (& so early) that I flipped to see if I got a promo code too. Alas, I did not. But I am thrilled nonetheless to have "made it" on their catalog list. :)
So double-check your catalog to see if you got a unique promo code too! :)
Where would it be? I got a catalog too, and all I see is a big ol' insert that says ALREADY A REGULAR? Why not earn rewards? Phooey!

ReplyDeleteIt sure is nice to have such pretty colors on the catalog for a change. The black print on a bright white background reminds me of Madewell's web style.

ReplyDeleteHaving a catalogue on hand is SOO much better than just the website. I love the feel of paper! Plus, it feels like I can see the items a little more upclose.
Can I just say how cute all the swimwear is? WANT IT ALL!
I received not one, but TWO catalogs yesterday (one for me and one for hubs) and neither of them had an insert! I thought for sure my chances would improve since two catalogs came :-) Maybe next time....

I received my catalog yesterday and only got the rewards card insert in it.
ReplyDeleteI usually get my catalogs 2 weeks into the month so don't expect mine for a while. I never get the catalog codes though. I'm sure it is because I buy regularly so I don't need incentive.

I didn't get a code, but I was really excited to see that they have Crystal Renn modeling swimwear in the catalog. I don't recall ever seeing them use a "plus size" model for any catalog in the past, and I think it's kind of a cool thing for them to do. I'm willing to bet that Crystal would have been able to look good in a 2 piece without covering up with several layers, but it's something.

Kelli, thanks for the link! I noticed that the one model seemed to be normal looking... I was puzzled since JC always uses the super skinny ones. Glad to see this! Not that I have anything against tall skinny people, being that I am one myself, it is just so much better to see the clothes on different body types!
ReplyDeleteI've been a card member for years and have received catalogs for even longer and I didn't get a code in my last catalog either!! I am hoping to get a pair of those gladiator wedges if anyone isn't using their code, we can negotiate.

i got my catalog in the mail today & received a 20% off code!! yay!!...i've been getting the catalog for about a year now, and it's always had the promo code inside...i don't have a JCREW card, and i don't shop there too often either, but when i do, it's mostly sale items...i'm not sure why i get it, as opposed to others, but i'm definitely glad that i do :)

I didn’t get a code, but I really like the model (Edia Vilkevičiūtė) of recent J.Crew catalog and collection photos. She did a campaign for Louis Vinton monogram and current Bluemarine.
