I l-o-v-e these types of posts. It is really interesting to hear what other Aficionadas and Aficionados plan on wearing, since it gives me lots of wonderful ideas for future outfits. :) So for this post, what we are planning to wear on Saint Patrick's Day? :)
As for me, I plan to brake out a J.Crew top circa-2007... the Lilah Shirt in Printed Lawn. Similar to Valentine's Day, I will wear a simple white perfect tee cardigan and jeans from J.Crew too.
What are you planning to wear this Saint Patrick's Day? Are you planning to go "head to toe" J.Crew or parts J.Crew?
Not wearing anything green...I like to get pinched! ;)
ReplyDeleteI didn't even realise that it was, it's a huge deal in the US but not so much over here.

ReplyDeleteOT: Liberty Bouquet Shirtdress back online in sizes 00, 6, and 8.
ReplyDeleteSun-drenched Sweatshirt available again today in all sizes (some are waitlisted).
Today I'm wearing a JC cotton taffeta full skirt from 2007 in navy, LEC tank and LEC Heritage cardigan in dark green, along with orange Joley peep-toe heels.
ReplyDeleteI'm wearing my navy and cream striped always cardi, a navy ruffle front tank, and kelly green favorite fit chinos. I wish they still did the favorite fit in fun colors. :)
ReplyDeletemedium size update to final sale today....noticing lots of stuff popping back from last summer/fall, even in my order i received yesterday i got the cupro elan trousers and the tag is from summer 2010. OT but does anyone own these? I got them in the wild mushroom color and they are lovely but I am unsure what to pair with them. any suggestions? i know this is not related to St. Patrick's Day post, sorry!
ReplyDeleteSomehow, I'm not wearing any J Crew this year.
ReplyDeleteI am wearing Anthro's Fountain of Youth dress (in green) with a white blouse underneath.
UNLESS I decide to wear my white Perfect boatneck underneath, but I think it'll probably not go well with the collar.
Wearing orange heels from last season at Nine West!
I'm wearing the Precious Particulars blouse from Anthro with my J.Crew Double-Serge pencil skirt in Nightfall Blue and a JC patent belt in peacock. Many different shades of green and blue going on over here! :) I posted pics of my OOTD here.
ReplyDeleteI am wearing last springs LOL clover fields perfect shirt (looks almost like the one in your picture), a superfine cotton skirt in khaki and tortoise colored Cole Haan heeled loafers.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing everyone! I also hope you all have a great St. Patrick's Day!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad some other people are wearing green and navy today! I put it on and always forget how much I love the combination. I am wearing the navy eyelet skirt (from factory I think) from last spring, an ivory Loulie blouse, and a kelly green cardigan from Old Navy.
ReplyDeletegreen Ellen Tracy head to toe (vintage skinny pants & shirt), the only green JC was the Mickey card which arrived belatedly after yesterday's mail del'y (obviously went to someone else first!). To mark the day, seasonal recipe and commentary here
ReplyDeleteI don't own anything green -- it's a colour I just don't wear! But I love those pics you posted, Alexis. Happy St. Patty's day!
ReplyDeleteI win the award for lamest outfit, I'm sure. Toothpick jeans, perfect-fit tank in Dark Seaweed, black Merino Marzipan cardi and gold manor necklace. Plus of course my requisite elf shoes, my witchy black flats. :)
ReplyDeleteI tried on 15 different combinations this morning and nothing was working. I wanted to be springy since it's going to be 70 today. I tried on my impressionist floral skirt, the gold/green metallic jacquard skirt, a black skirt....I had a creative block I guess, lol.
At first I forgot it was St. Paddy's day and I tried on an outfit I actually really liked, a pearl gray pencil skirt and the citron/gray print petal-neck sleeveless blouse from a few years back. I just couldn't find the right cardi to go with it. But I'm keeping that outfit in my back pocket. :) Maybe by the next time I can wear it, I'll have some citron-yellow shoes to go with. :P
It totally skipped my mind to wear green today, but I definitely wore some J. Crew.
ReplyDeleteI have on a random black cardi and tan belt, a cream BR tie-neck blouse, my J. Crew double serge pencil skirt in bright dahlia and my Juliet pumps in the serengeti print.
I don't usually wear green but I bought a mint-colored Jackie twinset on sale last spring and it is still sitting in my closet with the tags on so today would be as good a day as any to wear it. Thinking of pairing with a light gray wool pencil, gray tights and Chie Mihara Kalu Tau suede pumps, although the link shows them in taupe mine are a medium-light gray.
ReplyDeleteAlexis - I'm so glad you do these posts! They are so fun. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm wearing my green Severn lace skirt with a bluish bird and leaf print top from F21, my looping lanes belt from Anthro, JC zee-zee tights, and brogues. I have my charcoal Benny if I get chilly. :)
Like Elaine, I wanted to be springy today as it will be in the 60s (though we're supposed to get 2-5" of snow tonight?!). I'm not Irish but I still always wear green on St Patty's day. Guess I'm just festive like that. :)
Green tulle bikini and tonight my green sequin silk t-shirt and made well jeans. On vacation :)
ReplyDeleteaaaaaaaahhh i wish i was on vacation! :P
ReplyDeleteThanks Alexis for the post. I almost forgot.
ReplyDeleteI'm wearing Liberty honeyclover ruffled perfect shirt. It looks so much like Alexis' shirt. Also wearing Van Cleef & Arpel's mother of pearl clover pendant. They look perfect together.
For the bottom, I'm wearing Saturday pants in dark army greenish color.
My girls are wearing Crewcuts sequin tees from 2-3 years ago. Green long sleeves with aqua blue sequin bow.
Happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone!
ReplyDeleteI am wearing the Tweed Tatum blazer. Seems the only green thing in my wardrobe.
I am not really going anywhere today except the mall tonight for iphone repair... but I'm itching to bust out the silk tartan parlour skirt that I've yet to wear. Maybe I can dress it down enough to wear to the mall!
ReplyDeleteFor today I am wearing cashmere butterfield cardigan in gray with vivid poppy tall dreamy cotton pants... Which truly are dreamy and I want them in every color! Good loungewear.
To celebrate St Patty's day, I'm wearing Jcrew's Liberty floral blazer in light green from last summer, Banana's green tiered tank, white jeans, and gray Cleo platforms. Loving the 70 degree weather!
ReplyDeleteCollection Green Tartan Peep Toes, Dark Rinse High-Heel Flare Jeans, Green Long-Sleeve Perfect T, Aged Driftwood Herringbone Schoolboy Blazer, Slipada shades of green long necklace and braclet.
ReplyDeleteLove dressing up for St. Patty's!
Happy SP day!
ReplyDeleteJ. Crew double serge perfect pencil skirt in light grey, a dark grey embellishy tank from Banana, and a J. Crew cypress green cashmere v-neck cardigan. With wine coloured boots. Oh, and my J. Crew mini pearl supernova necklace, which I LOVE and have every day since I got it!
Cheers!
