J.Crew + Net A Porter {check it out!}

"Thanks!" to Gem Twin (in this post) who reminded us that J.Crew is selling items exclusively for Net-a-Porter customers. Click here to shop!

For example, the Pezza Wool-Crepe Jacket (100523; $258.00) & the Luna Mixy Silk and Wool Dress (10050; $275.00) are available only through Net-a-Porter right now.

Some of these items *are* available at J.Crew's brick and mortar (B&M) stores. However, I am not sure if all the Net-a-Porter items will ever be available on J.Crew's regular e-commerce site. Who knows?

In any case, I should check out Net-a-Porter to see what "new" J.Crew items are for sale!

What are your thoughts on Net-a-Porter's partnership with J.Crew? Have you purchased J.Crew through Net-a-Porter?

  1. new items just loaded on the JC site and a couple of the net-a-porter items are among them.

    I am so bummed--two new, full-price, merino turtlenecks in my cart are gone--ALREADY! This is what I mean by stuff I like never makes it to the sale bin let alone final sale. I was waiting for tonight's new arrivals before completing the sale--big mistake.

  2. So late, must go to bed...but, that said...

    The Palmilla Lace Skirt that is a "new arrival" is in fact that crushed jacquard skirt on a different model. D'oh, J. Crew.

    When you open up their (ancient) zoom feature, you can see this more clearly. I was able to click on the "color" in the zoom feature and that shows what the palmilla lace skirt really looks like.

    I reviewed this skirt way back in late July (on my blog) as it was in-store only at the time. If you like the skirt (and you feel like hunting for the real image of it, lol), size down one or two sizes. It runs rather large.

    My two cents.

    Can't really process the rest of the roll-out, just trying to capture a few things for polyvore before bed.

  3. Dinagideon: I did like the skirt then zoomed in and thought, oh it doesn't really look that lacey at all - so that's why!

    Thanks!

    Oh and as I put the new golden brocade top in my basket I thought "This is so Dinagideon!"

  5. Ahh!!! The marching band style jacket that I saw in a store is on Net a Porter! How interesting. Thanks for pointing out that they carry different things from the regular website!

  6. yes, Net-à-porter, where the suggested rest of the Marching Band outfit is a ruffled tank, tight leather pants, and truly ghastly heels. Seeking to broaden its marketing base, J.Crew offers Dominatrix Wear. The jacket itself is over-detailed (buttons PLUS loops PLUS zipper?) but overall not bad. And to be fair, it looks like the Net people suggested the rest of the outfit, not the J.Crew stylists.

  7. I'm surprised no one has mentioned that some items are considerably cheaper on Net-a-Porter. For example, the poncho is $1200 on JCrew, but only $850 on N-a-P. I noticed the same thing for some other items that were up previously but now appear to be sold out. Also interesting!
