This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)
If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SPRING & SUMMER sale, or to see some new SUMMER arrivals {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!
Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)
P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!
Hi. In my store, the fleurette bow cami is marked down to $49.99, with an additional final sale 20% off. Bargain!!!! I snatched it right up. Looks great under my grey military cargo jacket from a season or so ago! Also, a darling khaki bubble skirt just got marked down, and the eyelet bow blouses.... (so they are up for an additional 20% as well).
ReplyDeleteOh! and the navy minnies were also on mark down!
For once, it is a good time to live in Kansas!!!!
20% off jewelry + free shipping online. Of course Miriam Haskell & Fenton Fallon are excluded.
ReplyDeleteSubscribing. :)
ReplyDeleteDeer Park sale section was stuffed to the gills yesterday w 20% off ... it seems like the B&M's are really worth the trip this week if you want great deals while avoiding the pitfalls of FS.
ReplyDeleteI saw: A whole rack of dresses 49.99-69.99, Minnies in several colors, a few En Plein Air scarves 19.99, and quite a few Perfect Shirts (paper poplin, liberty florals). I also saw 2 Watercolor Pastiche Pencil Skirts sizes 6 and 10 for 49.99. For men lots of polos 9.99-14.99, I picked up a few of those for DH. Lots of ratty tees if anyone still has an appetite for those.
The strangest "deal" there: the Fringed Tunics were marked down to 9.99, 7.99 after the 20%! For that price I thought, what the hell?
Ruffles, both colors were $7.99???
ReplyDeleteEma: they only had the pink, not the lavender, but they had quite a few sizes. I couldn't believe it!
ReplyDeleteOT, but it looks like the fall lookbook is now online, under "Features". Have we discussed this already?
ReplyDeletedoes anyone know where i can find IRL pics of the Hockney Satchel? that Paramus price of $64 can't be beat!

ReplyDeleteOther than a possible return, I plan to stay out of JC for the next few weeks. I'm on a no-buy for the entire month of July (clothes, shoes, accessories). I need to cut down on my new purchases and purge some of the existing items that I'll probably never wear again (like the pill covered JC "dream" sweaters). My closets are overflowing and it's too hard to organize and care for so many clothes. Assuming I don't cheat, I'm rewarding myself with a Hermes scarf at the end of the month. :)
ReplyDeleteJeanne, I'm also on a no-buy for July! You're the third or fourth person I've heard say that. Good luck :)
ReplyDeleteI will be popping in to make some returns. My store is small and last time I was in it was filled with sale tees and not a whole lot else. I'm hoping they have some of yesterday's new items just so I can see them.
Jeanne - that is an awesome reward!
ReplyDeleteI'm not on a 100% ban, but I don't plan to make any significant purchases until fall items come out. (I am stalking a couple of older JC items on eBay, though.)
ReplyDeleteNothing currently online at JC really excites me (unless marked way way down and NOT final sale!). It's hard to look at summer clothes because here it's rainy and in 50s anyway, so I've barely worn any of the summer things I already have. Since the weather is bad, I plan to spend some time this weekend going through my clothes to toss and donate and consider what I really need for fall.
I visited a store yesterday and blogged about it in this post. It has irl pics, of course. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI may be popping into the Madison, WI store to make a return this weekend. Will report back with anything significant!
ReplyDeleteDid some returns today, and the sale section was pretty much same old, same old.
ReplyDeleteThe linen-cotton wrap cardigan was marked down to $19.99 and the sunshine peonies skirt was $29.99
Plus, I saw some coveted items:
XS Canvas bow tank - grape $19.99
XS Canvas bow tank - light pewter $19.99
S Floral Daze cardigan (Liberty print in front) $69.99
plus additional 20% off sale
These were at Willowbrook, NJ. I'm not going back soon, so I went ahead and put the tanks and cardi on hold under Laura if anyone wants to call and have them sent. HTH someone!
Oh, forgot to mention there were several in-store promotions, at least yesterday. There were more, but these are the onces I noticed:
ReplyDeleteShimmer ruffle shell is $35
Cotton-wool ruffled placket cardigan is $69.50 (also online)
Art tees 20% off
mommydearest, thanks for the sunshine peonies skirt mention! i was hoping to find it in NC last week and it wasn't there.
ReplyDeleteVisited the Christiana Mall store in DE today. TONS of sale items! Lots of nice things, even w/ the same old tees everyone's irritated with. Two things in particular stick out in my mind: If you're looking for the boat neck vintage bateau top in the gold stripe, they had one in the sale section- a medium I believe. Also, there was a pink stripe boatneck top that was a big hit. I don't know the exact name, but there were 2 mediums in the sale section. Also, the starfish shorts and dress in various sizes. Oh, and there were 2 HTF necklaces as well- the rock crystal necklace in pink and the crystal corona necklace w/ bracelet. If you were looking for something in particular, ask and I might remember if it was there. It was an extra 20% sale items, but final sale applied. I'm headed back tomorrow for a price adjustment on a recent trip, so I'd be glad to look if there was something in particular anyone was looking for.
ReplyDeleteAnother HTF item I just thought of- the liberty daze cardigan in a medium. 69.99 plus 20% off.
ReplyDeleteMarisa, can you wear a 4?
ReplyDeleteI checked my local store yesterday, and all of their sale items were an additional 20% off! I found the bling button cardigan for 44.99, but with the extra 20% off, it's a steal.
ReplyDeleteIf you're in the mall today you may want to stop by Club Monaco. Their summer sale started this weekend and there are some really cute things marked down. Some of their offerings this season look kind of Crew-ish. I love the short silk skirts, especially the beaded one.

The Hastead (Chicago) store has a ton of stuff on sale incl the cashmere zip sweaters (in lots of colors) +20% off. The Michigan Ave store has a ton too, but items didn't seem as marked down as the other store. The sequin boatneck is down to $59, but no add'l % off.
ReplyDeletei can wear a 4!
ReplyDeletei ended up getting the skirt through their "seek & find" feature. somehow i got hooked up with that when i tried to call the store. she said that they usually don't do a search for sale items, but she made an exception. i mentioned the price i heard and got confirmation on them finding it, but no receipt or mention of what i ended up paying. hopefully the price will be on par.
you didn't happen to have one you were trying to get rid of, mommydearent?
ReplyDeleteMarisa, no, I'm not getting rid of mine! :) I wasn't crazy in love with it until $24, but now I don't think I'm letting go
ReplyDeleteSorry, I didn't mean to sound mysterious. I just saw several 4s at one store. Glad you got one. I'm a little irritated they did away with WWFI on sale items, but my PS has done one for me a few times and the sending store has always charged me the price he specified. If they don't, take it back to your local store and I'm sure your PS or SA will fix that.
Here are the sale updates (before extra 20% off):
ReplyDeleteReese studded back-zip gladiator - $69.99
Ares platform heels - $129.99
Alecia suede platform peep toes - $149.99
Crystal globe earrings - $9.99
Twirled metal and crystal necklace - $19.99
All Flower pins/clips - $4.99
Roxie ruffle cardigan (orig $98.00) - Taupe/Brownish color - $59.99 - I believe this was new like 2 weeks ago!
Studded tunic - $29.99
Ink blossom studded tunic - $59.99
Spots and sparkles cami - $29.99
Castillo eyelet cami - $69.99

ReplyDeleteHas any seen a Spring Celosia Ruffle cardi in Misty Aqua in a XS or S?
ReplyDeleteThanks
If anyone's looking for a sunshine peony pencil skirt, I have both a size 2 and a size 4 that I'll be returning this week... I bought them when they were $69.99, so I'll sell for $75 shipped if anyone's interested. I'll post this again on the weekly exchange tomorrow, but just thought I'd mention it since people were discussing the skirt. Email me at chubbs 1218 at yahoo dot com if you're interested :)
ReplyDeleteHi girls, I'm checking in from MIL's house in PHL! Went to King of Prussia mall today -- was allotted 20 mins to browse J Crew (boo) and their clearance section was larger than any I'd ever seen. Just racks and racks of shorts, tees, pants, skirts, you name it.
ReplyDeleteAll the usual suspects plus a few items of note, namely one navy wool schoolboy blazer with gold buttons, marked down to $49.99 - 20% off ... a STEAL but a wee biut too big for me.
Also, two Jaipur sleeveless shells (Collection), both size 2. Down to $59.99 - 20%.
There's so much more I could list, but they didn't have any more suckered ginham perfect shirts on clearance for me.
Not at Willow Grove either. Their sale section was fairly scant, but I was *thrilled* to unearth a pair of Flora paisley shorts (gray/orange pattern) for $19.99-20%, plsuy some broken-in polos for the H.
Happy 4th!
Hi All,
ReplyDeleteI'm searching for an Oak Tweed Skirt in a 10. If anyone sees one, would you let me know what store?
Thanks so much!
