ReplyDeleteI cannot even get JCrew to send me a catalog let along anything extra. I kept trying to sign up online or call but nothing gets me a catalog on a regular basis.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe it. I received the catalog on time AND the 20% off. Can't see myself pulling the trigger since I didn't fall in love with any of the new stuff. It expires on the 8-9th so I'll post it here if I decide against using it. It figures, right? The only coupon I get and I probably won't use it...ha!

ReplyDeleteLOL, they don't send me coupons when I'm buying a lot, they don't send me coupons when I'm buying a little, they don't send me coupons when I'm not buying at all. I haven't made a purchase in two months; that has to be a record for me! (Erm, that doesn't count eBay JC purchases of 08 and earlier items, of which there have been many.) Speaking of which, any rewards cards sightings?
Still no catalog for me, although they usually come about a week after everyone else's. :( I have never received a code in my catalog, but I always hope to find one!

J Crew really needs to start giving their cardmembers benefits. Those of us who have cards should call and complain and threaten to close our accounts. This is ridiculous.

I think we should be rewarded if we *don't* subscribe to the catalog (for environmental reasons); not the other way around.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny you should say that Kim. I was thinking about that yesterday and then I called 10 sites (including J crew) and had them take me off their mailing list. I am already registered with the national "no junk mail" but if you have bought from a company within a certain amount of time it exempts them. The only possible upside of a catalog is that you get to see the colors but even then the photographs are rarely true to color. I also agree that people who respond to "new arrivals" emails should be coveted not ignored.
