This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)
If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SUMMER sale, or to see some new SUMMER arrivals {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!
Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)
The Vancouver store had a secret sale on Cafe Trousers in Linen - $20 off the full price. Also the sale section seems to be getting bigger.
ReplyDeleteThe PS in the store also said there will be another store opening in the Pacific Centre Mall and a Crewcuts in Park Royal West Vancouver.
Out-of-case necklaces were $10 off. I didn't notice signage on Fri, but noticed it on Sun, 6/3.
ReplyDeleteThe vintage tanks were $14.50 each in my store. I returned the blue stripe one for the online price of almost $30 and got two different colors for the same price!
ReplyDeleteThe garden floral silk bow cami was only $69.99 and the pencil skirt $79.99. Wish they had the cami in my size- I really want to go back for the pencil skirt though!
I was able to get to a b&m in the U.S. yesterday. It's the second one that hasn't had the porcelain paisley skirt which I really wanted to see IRL.
ReplyDeleteI drank the Crewlade and bought the open stitch linen sweater in sun driftwood. I sized down two sizes. Since I saw it in the 'looks we love' I've been interested and while I don't think it's worth FP the U.S. price is much better than Cdn price plus tax so I bit.
Otherwise they had the perfect fit crewneck tees on promo for $14.50 which is much better than online so I grabbed a couple.
The sale section was good but sizes picked over- silk floral cami and pencil skirt; Tessa top in purple $54.99; linen Tippi (purple, yellow) $54.99; linen cable sweaters and a lot of the older sale stuff.
i went to return some things, and, of course, i wound up checking out the sales and buying more stuff. i got the basketweave flats in black and white. they only had an 8-1/2 (i usually wear an 8) but they fit pretty well so i'm keeping them :)
ReplyDeleteJust found out via live chat the heart throb shirt is set to be released in September in black/ white , so excited to see it :)!
ReplyDeleteif anyone sees the black/red version in their store in a 00 0 or 2 please let me know, thanks!
DeleteOWS, did the Chatter mention if the shirt will be in silk? (crosses fingers)
ReplyDeleteI spoke with my onlne PS and asked her about the blouse and she said that she also heard that a black/white version was coming out. I just assumed silk, but I will call back and ask her. I hope so!!!
ReplyDeleteFrom what I gathered it is the same exact shirt, and same price, so I would def. say so!! I was asking if any stores had the heart throb shirt when she asked me what color and then proceeded to tell me it was coming out in black/white in September (so it would would of been the same item number too). I'm so excited!
ReplyDeleteThanks, OWS, me too!

ReplyDeleteI went in, but nothing interests me in the J. Crew stores right now. This is good for my wallet, but I wanted to like something, anything, and I didn't. I feel like they are missing the mark a bit lately.
ReplyDeleteI went today and tried on several things. I have a post up of two dresses so far, the Lucille in purple eyelet and the Amie double-stripe maxidress. See it here.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if anyone could tell me the price of the villa dress in stripe in store? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to a store in a few weeks but I broke down today and picked up a couple things online: confetti dot sundress and the Selima Sun Belle sunglasses (on sale). I justify this by the fact that I got free shipping and that I desperately need new shades!
