Stopped by the Georgetown store in DC yesterday, and scored the raj paisley pencil skirt and the scatter dot dress on super sale. They ARE doing the extra 30% off (and let me use my student discount on top of that), and had a TON of stuff in the sale section. They also had a promotion advertised that some necklaces in the case were $10 off, but I didn't inquire as to which ones.

I've shopped out the sale and only saw a couple of things in the new rollout I want. Maybe I can relax now and enjoy all my new clothes and summer! Yah!

ReplyDeleteLisa, Austin has two B&Ms, the Barton Creek location and The Domain location. The Barton Creek one only carries women's clothes, if that matters any. Also, The Domain is actually an outdoor mall and Madewell is a few doors down from this J.Crew..which seems to be popular. The Domain had a nice sale section on Tuesday, when I went.

I have the white, not the safari cat, but it's wrinkly. Also, it's kind of billowy and I'm not sure if it would be a good layer underneath anything.

Hi all, the Century City location in LA, CA is having the additional 30% off of sale! They were FULLY stocked and not yet picked over when I went an hour ago! Lots of shoes, pencil skirts, long necklaces and dresses! I highly recommend stopping by if you can! Also, good variety of sizes!

Bought the red Cha Cha dress at the SF downtown store. On sale for $149.99, with an additional 30%. Got it for only $110. before tax. Love the one of a kind couture like design, which makes the dress very special. The fabric is a little heavy, but it's perfect for SF weather.
ReplyDeleteKaty - they did honor both the 30% and the 15% student discount for me at two different stores in the greater Boston area (though that may be because 99% of greater Boston is involved with academia!) I think it really depends on which SA you get, though. I was lucky enough to find some awesome ones, but I've dealt with snotty or disinterested ones in the past, too. I know they've gone back and forth on their policy for student discounts on sale items, but I think it's great PR for them to keep it. Makes you feel really happy about your purchases!

ReplyDeleteScored the Scout chino in bright khaki at B&M yesterday for $18. Had been wanting to get it forever. Love the color and fit and love the price! Also got the Caribbean tweed skirt for $42 and anchor maritime for $24. Finally, a couple of colorful scarfs and belts helped to stuff my bag full. My B&M is an hour away but these amazing deals were worth the trip. (30% off was still on.)
