"Thanks!" to Marietta who shared with us the email J.Crew sent this morning.
The email showcases J.Crew's sleepwear for women (click here to shop online) with the tag phrase: "Beauty sleep redefined ...encouraging some winter downtime in our luxuriously cozy PJs".
The email features the Vintage Pajama Set (Item 20806; $69.50) in Lavender, paired with the Pretty Poplin Chemise (Item 20831; $39.50). Moreover, I should add that one of J.Crew's {holiday} sleepwear staples is back too: the Classic Union Suit (Item 21422; $69.50 ).
Incidentally, did anyone else notice that the photo used in the email (shown above) has an odd placement for those ornaments? {huh} ;)
What are your thoughts on J.Crew's sleep & lounge wear? Are you a fan of their styles & offerings?
I just received an email from JC stating I would be receiving a "little holiday help" - free shipping, free monogramming, and free gift boxing on all orders at jcrew.com thru Dec 5th. Thank you J Crew!! What a great Christmas present!
ReplyDeleteOops, I meant thru Dec. 25th!
ReplyDeleteSeeing this reminded me..I saw the large polka-dotted union suit at my store and for the first time thought..now that's a union suit I could cozy up to-LOL!
ReplyDeleteI just went to the JC site to look at the Vintage PJ set, and just about spit out my coffee when I read this in the item description:
ReplyDelete"Though it's made for sleep, we also love the top layered over a tank and worn with a pair of jeans."
Oh, really? LOL, I guess I shouldn't be surprised that JC's next trend is asylum chic.
I have last year's version of the flannel microdot pants (dots were bigger last year) and love them. They are often on sale in stores for less, I noticed.
ReplyDeleteI thought I was going to be the only one who saw those ornaments, ha!

ReplyDeleteClicquot-that's hilarious!! I am sure they will take a shot at that look next..it's only a step away from the "drunken, escaped from the retirement village, psychotic grandma whose placed the entire contents of her jewelry box on her person, is running around with her silky, harem pants and knee highs which have dropped around her ankles, some jeweled high heels and thrown on her trapper hat--and on the loose" look. Hmmm..could be me one day :)
ReplyDeleteI have a couple pair of the micro dot pants from last year that I picked up on sale for around $10. If the new ones go on sale at that price this year I'll be sure to order. :)
ReplyDeleteAs far as J.Crew suggesting that we wear our PJ's out in public: it appears as if they are now contributing to the *Slobification of America*...very, very sad indeed.
I didn't even take my JCrew winter pjs out of storage. Once I discovered Nick & Nora pjs at Target, I lost interest in all others. They're cheap, very well made and incredibly cute. :)
ReplyDeleteShe looks like if she had a bad night of sleep
ReplyDeleteI ordered a pair of flannel pjs this year and the quality is not as good as last years.
ReplyDeleteI was wandering around in the Southpark J.Crew the other day (Black Friday) and overheard a group of girls saying, "gosh, even their pjs aren't cute this year." I couldn't agree more. Seems as though lots of people are becoming disenchanted with the brand.
ReplyDeleteI love the sleepwear but not at these prices (and no thanks to the union suit, lol). If/when I catch flannel sleep pants on sale, I will buy them for sure. Mine have only improved with age. :-)
ReplyDeleteAppGal,
ReplyDeleteHey, even the younger crowd gets JCrew is not as cute or fun anymore!
I used to get so excited and overwhelmed for each new rollout. Now I just find one or two items that I might want.
