J.Crew and American Express are teaming up to offer shoppers in NYC a fun night out shopping (click here). "Thanks!" to TweedyBird who originally let us know about this event in an earlier post (refer here).The following shares the details on (& participants of) the event.
NEW YORK, NY, December 03, 2009 -American Express announces its continued partnership with top fashion designers including Diane von Furstenberg, Phillip Lim and Tory Burch, to provide Cardmembers with five days of exclusive shopping experiences during NYC & Company's NYC Extreme Local(TM).So if you are an American Express card carrying member and live in (or are visiting) NYC, you may want to check this event out tonight. It sounds like a lot of fun! :)
Now through December 20, Cardmembers may register any eligible American Express Card at www.nycgo.com/x to take advantage of special events and offers citywide.
From December 7 - December 11, Diane von Furstenberg, Phillip Lim and Tory Burch, along with J.Crew and Intermix, will invite American Express Cardmembers into their stores for after-hours, private Cardmember-only shopping events.
Cardmembers will enjoy:In addition to the private shopping events, Cardmembers can get a $50 statement credit when they use any registered American Express Card to make a total of $300 in purchases at three or more NYC Extreme Local(TM) participating retailers between now and December 20, 2009.

ReplyDeleteDropped by the Prince St. store... saw Jenna Lyons! She was one of the tallest hanging out with another two taller women... all dressed in black blazer and high heels. She was wearing strappy black heels. I left before the event actually started so I wasn't really sure what they were going to do there... I mean the shoppers are there to shop without realizing if there's any special event going on... so I guess that was the reason why Jenna was just there standing and hanging out? There were some good-looking guys dressed in stripe shirt and slacks and standing there looking good! They should have a sign there in the store or something...
