I just snagged the jaspe boyfriend sweatshirt in SM on popback! Been stalking this baby forever since I missed out over the summer...also avail in Large.
ReplyDeleteNothing that I wanted from knits & tees, but I did snag the Shimmering constellation cardigan in heather dusk on sale just now, plus the Petite solid three-quarter sleeve stretch shirt in light pewter. :-)
ReplyDeletei just bought the jaspe boyfriend sweatshirt, also, but in store for same price it is online. Been wearing it all weekend!!
ReplyDeleteI have plenty of tees right now, so nothing for me with this promotion.
ReplyDeleteHas anyone washed the Victoria tissue cami yet? I bought one with last weeks promo but am afriad to take the tags off until I hear about how it washes! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteNothing this time, but just letting everyone know that I scored the dapple dot cardigan from a customer service search - so I got it on sale ($59.99) and shipped for free. :) Woot! I was excited about some good customer service!
ReplyDeleteNothing for me this time. I returned the vintage tiered cami the other day so I can buy the duffle coat during the 30% off promotion. I called a local store and a customer just returned one in black and in my size! They honored the promotion and my teacher discount! What a great birthday present for me!
ReplyDeleteCan anyone who went to the Arden Clearance Center this weekend post? I'd like to go to the Lynchburg this weekend, but have never been and was hoping to find out beforehand what to expect...
ReplyDeleteTIA
I hope JCrew intends on giving a final push for % off and free standard delivery before Christmas. I don't think it makes much sense if codes like HOHOHO are offered for items (most likely on sale by then) after the holiday drive. I want to get a pair of Red Wing but the shipping and tax are a major deterrent. I cannot let myself order something at full price or offered discount but pay shipping and tax when I can get the same items free Return, Exchange and Taxes from other retailers.
ReplyDeleteOk, this one is easy to resist :) I do expect the one on Wednesday will be better. I'm thinking they'll have one more great sale (25% and fs, perhaps) before Xmas.
ReplyDeleteConsidering my nickname is ruffle, you've got it. I will absolutely be taking advantage of that first deal.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the updates, as always!
The only Tees I buy are the Perfect Tees so this one is a definite pass.
ReplyDeleteLaura,
ReplyDeleteSame here. I only buy the perfect tees.
Yes, I found the dapple dot too on sale and got my student discount on top of it so it was a good deal esp. since sold out online.
ReplyDeleteI bought my tees with the previous promotion of 30% off . Wonder whats in store for wednesday..
ReplyDeleteI bought two perfect fit tees that I've been waiting for a promotion like this to buy. Also got the Crinkle Chiffon Ruffle Cardigan as a ride-along to get the free shipping. Hey, I might like it :)
ReplyDeleteMy Frosted Donegal Tweed coat arrived. I think the tweed in the site photo looks slightly better than IRL. It is a wooly tweed, has a wintry look, which in the photo I thought could have a spring feel. It is fully lined and has a rather cute skirted ruffle along the bottom of the inside lining. It fits TTS and I think on sale it's fair deal. But anyone that missed this coat and is disappointed, my guess is there will be returns. This is not to be negative, I may just have high expectations for the Collection Items. Hope that helps someone!
ReplyDeleteIn store sale prices are much better than online. I saw the schoolboy blazer in heather carbon on sale for $69.99
ReplyDeleteI'm not surprised Tracey, my shopping cart has not moved at all if that's any judge. Post holiday sales could be pretty good unless they decide to do a big blowout sale in the next week. So far the most impactful promo I've seen was the 30% off coats and free shipping. It's the one recent promo where they grouped free shipping with the promo price.
ReplyDeleteIf anyone missed Jenna Lyons on Martha Stewart, it is now on the web http://www.marthastewart.com/show/the-martha-stewart-show/holiday-gifts
ReplyDeleteThe kids' outfits are the cutest!
I love JCrew tees, but there are limits to how many I need or can wear. So I'm planning to pass on this sale. However, I might change my mind and buy something after Christmas, if the sales are good.
ReplyDelete@ Laura re: Lynchburg
ReplyDeleteI live in L'burg - if you're asking about the sample sale this weekend, it will depend on what you're looking for. Merchandise is usually seasonal; watch for damaged goods. It's a free-for-all, since everything is in cardboard boxes, and employees are generally restocking throughout the weekend. No try on space (though there are usually a couple of mirrors), no returns or exchanges, etc.
Lynchburg has two clearance stores now; the original Millrace address and a second, larger store in a planned commercial area not too far away. Selection is always changing, but there are usually wedding dresses, Collection items and so on at the larger store. Still need to look for defects, though.
OT, my SNOWMAN order arrived today (yay fast shipping!) and while the stuff I ordered for my guy looks good, 3 of the 4 items I ordered for myself are going back. The Jackie Cardi is too short, the Dolce Cable Knit sweater's fit is too boxy and the Wool Bungalow Skirt is too short. Only keeping the Double-Wrap Layering Necklace. I guess that's what I get for indulging in myself so close to the holidays.
ReplyDeleteWaiting for free ship no minimum....
ReplyDeletemommydearest - Saw your question on my blog, but didn't answer. I haven't washed my cotton Victoria yet. I'm also curious how it will do in the wash. I know I will be air drying it.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Maggie! Do you have the address for the second store? All I can find online is that it's in Wyndhurst, but can't find an address. I'm pretty sure I'll get lost going to either/both location but I think I'll give it a shot!

ReplyDeleteSorry, the above was me - don't comment much and I'm getting used to the system!
ReplyDeleteLaura - I don't have a specific street address. The "main street" through Wyndhurst is Enterprise Drive, from which the store is visible on the left (coming from the Millrace store)
The Millrace location is tucked into an industrial park, and the store is really just off of the warehouse. Be sure to ask if you're looking for something specific, because the sales people often have more merch in the back at both locations.
Bring a student/teacher ID if you have one; they'll honor the discount even at the sample sale.
Hope that helps!
Thanks, Maggie!
