This is remarkably similar to yesterday's promotion. Although I am not complaining.

Will you be taking advantage of this promotion? If so, please share!

  1. The J.Crew sale section (and this promo) feel like a milk carton long forgotten in the back of the fridge. It's long overstayed its welcome; we all know it's past due. Worst of all none of us will touch it. Sadly J.Crew needs to toss it and move on.

Looking forward to new fall items and fresh stock. I'll pass on the sour milk.

  3. i bit because an item popped back in my size and there was free shipping... slightly cheaper yesterday but my size wasn't available and i didn't want to add another $120 to my cart just to avoid shipping costs.

i'm kinda in the mindset that if it ships, awesome. if not, i'm not losing sleep. i'm ready for some fall stuff and my rewards anyway.

  4. Other places with earlier releases are really making it hard to wait, so in love with Boden right now. Cute dresses and lots of herringbone.

  5. Can anyone give any feedback about the brushstroke or polka dot dress for busty ladies? I would love to add one of these dresses to my closet but worry that the top will not fit. Wanted to avoid the hassle of shipping/returning/visiting a store if at all possible. Thanks!

  6. One of the items in my online cart (the women's Field Mechanic Jacket) was finally available for the promo so I bit. I recently had this jacket in an XS but found the sleeves a bit short for my liking during cold weather so I was happy to sell it to a fellow JCA and sized up to the small. I am hoping the sleeves will be a tad longer on this one. As far as any other purchases...I am still holding out for fall items like many other JCA's.

  7. Just a random thought/question: I love the outfit the model is wearing in the picture for this post. But where does someone wear that?! I can think of no time or place in my life that that outfit would work.

    1. Jruby18, good question! Never really thought about it. Depending on what kind of job you have, I think some people might be able to wear it to work (with modifications though.) I could wear it to my office but wouldn't wear the tee underneath and would button up that shirt instead. (Incidentally, I found that shirt to be so, so, soooooo long! The description says that you can tuck it in, wear it open like a jacket or tie it at the waist so I guess that's why they made it so long.) I could also see it being worn on a lunch/shopping date, something like that maybe?

    2. I would wear it to my (biz casual) office, or to church. But with sandals.

    3. Yeah, I wear combos like that often when I'm business casual (or what my company calls "business neat") often.

    4. I guess I could see that - especially if you're in a creative field. When I was still working, I was an attorney, and that just wouldn't be something I could wear to work.

    5. Totally fair point. The look works for me-- I work at a really quirky software company in Wisconsin. Can't see it working in the board room or court room very well :-)

  8. I bit! I didn't know about the sale until yesterday and there was free shipping, so that was it to entice me to buy. I got the Marlo Crossbody purse in black for $35! Not a bad deal.
