I will be sitting this promo out! Frankly I am still not pleased with J Crew, in fact I have taken my business elsewhere! I love the new roll out, but there is hardly any of the new items that are included in this promo. I refuse to buy anything full price until they offer good enough promo! Many items still available in all sizes MMM, I wonder why?!
ReplyDeleteI am 100% with you. I have had several items sitting in my shopping cart for over 3 weeks just waiting for an overall % off promo. None of the items I wish to purchase have been eligible for any of the recent promo codes. I am proving to have excellent patience in holding out for sales lately ;)

DeleteOT vent-just tracked down an item in-store that is sold out in my size online. Store showed the item as full price; online its on sale. I asked the SA to honor the sale price and 50% off sale that's running in stores-no dice. I could either pay full price (ha!), or get 40% off per online. Plus $5 to ship, of course. Feeling bummed about a purchase I was originally excited about. Almost told the SA never mind about the purchase, and probably should've. Harrumph.
ReplyDeletei had a similar experience with the collection leather jacket in ash - it's full price at my store and i wanted to do a size exchange (!!) and the SA was hesitant to let me do it. she had to ask two managers who were like, how did this happen....?

DeleteI had this experience. I purchased the item and sent an email requesting a price adjustment. They adjusted the price and processed a refund.
DeleteThanks-I emailed my concerns about the discrepancies in pricing and promotions online and in-store. Just received a notification they've refunded the extra 10% and shipping fee. J Crew almost always comes through, and their CS responsiveness is among the best.
DeleteI had two bangles in by cart with promo applied - accidentally "removed" the wrong item from my cart, subsequently put them back in the cart and they were no longer included in promo...how does that even happen?! I think they have lowered prices on some items (albeit the quality deems the lower price), so was willing to bite with this promo - not now!
