  1. Received the FACTORY PATTERNED SCHOOLBOY BLAZER in tan/maroon/black, which also has a nice lipstick red color in it. Love the classic color combo on this one, although I would also love it if J.Crew duped the PINK HOUNDSTOOTH for factory schoolboy next year. Anyway, I think this one will stand the test of time. Fit is TTS. Fabric is 50/50 wool and poly but it feels like a nice weight to me. Price is excellent - currently marked to down to $100 plus there is an extra 20% off so it comes out to be about 50% off the original price. Very pleased with this purchase.

    1. Great review! I sometimes forget about Crewlet so this is really helpful. Going to check these blazers out now!

    2. I saw those online. I love both, and prices are fabulous but I can't wrap my head around buying a wool blazer yet. ;( or two!

  2. I love that Jcrew took away final sale on many items. The extra percent off is not the best but at least I could place an order to try without worry.

    1. Agree. I do feel spoiled as most things I purchased this summer were at least 40% off. Some as much as 60% off! 30% seems like a downer and I am over summer items. That being said I did purchase the Long sleeve striped maxi, cargo dress and a necklace that I have been waiting to popback for a while. They all shipped and no final sale!!

    2. Yep, agree on 30% off but stores will offer a PA to match % off in store; based upon JCA's, in store is 40% (I think). Also, happy about no FS & ordered Ratti Print pants that are on sale. Happy to be able to try this print in the pant with no risk. Hakuna Matata!

    3. Agreed re: no final sale and @JessF I also grabbed the long sleeve striped maxi ...hoping it ships and that it works out!

    4. Anne- I will cross my fingers for you! The dress has such good reviews so I hope it works for both of us. I worry it may be a bit long but hoping some wedges can solve that.

  4. I've really enjoyed wearing my Abstract Sequin Skirt this summer. I've paired it with a linen perfect shirt, and this week I'm pairing it with a navy short sleeve cashmere T. For $25, my cost per wear is waaaaay down on a skirt I thought might not be as versatile as it actually is. It works well with cognac leather shoes and accessories, which makes it pretty easy to work with.

  5. Hi - I went to my Atlanta JCrew last night. Happy to say that the current product is much better than in the last few years. Here is what I tried on (for reference I am 5"2" and weight 125, small chested, carry my weight in the middle and this store does not carry petites) The leopard dress is nice but did not fit my shape at all. The fabric has a slight sheen which was nice. The length was good on me so it could be too short on regular height ladies. The leopard skirt is great but the regular length is too long on me so they ordered a 4P for me. The leopard cardigan is nice (yes, I like leopard but don't wear more than one piece at a time). I purchased a medium in that. The Harlow cardigan is lovely, I bought a small in the peacock (the green is good too). LOVE the Rainbow stripe sweater! Bought a medium. Tried on the Rhodes in the Wild Flamingo in a 4 regular. WAY too big and long for me and since they are not lined scratchy to my skin. The Wild Flamingo Rhodes Blazer is darling! The size 2 regular was too large (very long sleeves) but the website is sold out of petite except for 000 so that will have to wait. The Lucite Heel Pump is pretty but the black heel is fairly dark- you don't really get credit for the heel being lucite. It reads as a regular black heel. Would have like to see this in a clear lucite. Ordered the Glitter Heel shoe in black and love them! Got 25% off so that helps with the steep price. Overall things are looking good at JC. Still 95 degrees in Atlanta (and will be for a long time) so I won't be able to wear any sweaters but there is always the FOMO on something that could sell out. Hope this helps!

    1. Very helpful reviews, especially re) sizing, helps me gauge an item for my own fit. (PS, I love leopard, too! I think it works as a neutral with a lot of solid colors. I noticed this rollout included a thinner leopard belt, which I would have preferred than the 1 inch version i bought last year.)
