I could hardly get an apology when they sent me the wrong item (what I wanted was sold out by then) and when I found it as a popback thanks to silver_lining, they refused to apply either the discount or the free shipping I'd used on my original order. I cannot even imagine them NOT providing you the price you originally paid when you thought you were getting all the items you checked out with. I would ask for a manager (on the CS line) or take it to your PS at the store. pretty ridic.

ReplyDeleteI called JC customer service yesterday and ended up having a really good experience. I spoke with a very friendly CS rep, who happily agreed to make the 20% off/ free shipping deal retroactive for my cancelled items-- provided, of course, that I can find them in stock again. She gave me the whole "We're not supposed to do this and I'll never be able to do it again" spiel, but my sense is that they're usually pretty willing to be helpful when it really was their bad. So,MMM, you should def call and see if you can get the same deal. And so the pop-back game begins!
