I'm just curious about these coupon codes. How do people come across these random ones? I know we all get the emails with the other ones, like "Extra20", "Holiday", etc. but these are so random, just a bunch of letters and numbers, and I was wondering how these come about...

I have a question if anyone is still up. Would you order the spicy guava featherweight cashmere considering it's probably a popback? I love that color, but I don't want a return. What are the odds that a spicy guava has been sitting around the warehouse untouched all this time?

If there was no minimum for free shipping, I would bite but I just placed a HUGE Lands End order so will have to pass...plus, I am not worried my LE order will be wrong or have holes in any sale items:) Happy JC Shopping to others though. LE Canvas is now contected to the regular LE site so can now combine savings for free shipping etc.

ReplyDeleteopheliasmom, what most typically do is keep adding 9 to the cart of an item. If you go to your cart and it added 9, you might try adding another 9. Go back to cart and refresh. Somewhere in there it will probably say only X number are left and that's what they have.

ReplyDeleteAre you truly sure about the cashmere even at that price?
Personally, I would highly rec. the LE cashmere and their sale price is the same with better quality IMO. (I know there is up to an hour to cancel your order online at JC). There is a free ship code out too with $50 purchase and lots of colors.
If you like the JC cashmere then great! Just wanted to offer up an alternative.
I just keep remembering Gigi saying she has a note on her credit card not to buy JC cashmere no matter what the price:) I am trying to hold to that too.

ReplyDeleteAs god is my witness, I WILL have those shoes! I know they exist in my size, and were shipped back to corporate on Tuesday. Knowing that updates tend to take place in the wee hours but not on any regular schedule, I'm prepared to stay up for them!

ReplyDeleteGenny I'm never sure about anything, hahah. But I have an embarassing number of J. Crew cashmere sweaters. I don't fault Lands End at all and I'm very very interested in their Canvas line. But I like the J. Crew colors. I'm looking at the Featherweight this time and in any given year I don't wear a single sweater that often so they don't typically have a ton of wear. That's because I've been buying them for years. And I do have color regrets and I have had ones that didn't wear well. Sometimes I make an issue and return it but most of the time I don't. Give me a light algae cardigan, a white top a necklace and I know how to get dressed. It's the sparkle vests that confuse me :)
